『I got this tricycle after my 2 years and 10 months old son refused to ride his Radio Flyer classic tricycle with pushbar. The problems he has with the classic tricycle are: hard to keep himself on the seat (he has hypotonia in his trunk, hard to keep his feet on the pedals (no flywheel so they always move) and he had trouble steering (the parent can't steer with the pushbar either). He got frustrated with the classic tricycle because he couldn't manage all these things at once. Happily, the steer&stroll trike answers these issues. He enjoyed his first day of riding the tricycle and wants to ride it some more! It's a great way for him to build confidence on a tricycle without giving him the frustrations he was having with a standard tricycle. This tricycle may not be for all children, but for my son it's been a great confidence builder. I hope it will hold up at least for the amount of time he needs it.』

『My 14 month old son recently had the opportunity to "test-drive" his 25-month old friend's Radio Flyer trike. Though it looks great and my son LOVED riding it (we pried him away from it after 1/2 of riding), we will definitely not buy it; the squeak was AWFUL! Though it's possible the squeak could be corrected with some WD40, the bike in question was less than two months old and is hardly ever used - it really shouldn't be squeaking like that. Further, though the bike looked great and there is no doubt my son would love it, it did not seem sturdy enough to stand up to him for long. Good idea, nice looking, but poorly crafted.

p.s. if you do decide to buy it, spring for the long handle - I was happy to have it when I pushed my son around for 1/2 hour.』

『I read a couple reviews talking about the steering breaking, so I waited six months before I reviewed it. We use this trike about 3-4 times a week and it's stored outside in the elements. We've had no issues at all. Granted, our son's only 2&weighs 30lbs or so, so a heavier child may cause some issues, but everything's done well so far. steering is first rate, pedals work great, all after 6 months of heavy usage.』

The pros of the bike include; parent steering, adjustable seat; built in strap for littler ones; a storage compartment for a sippy cup or lovey. Our son's been very happy with it. He's now ready for a bike with training wheels but we'll be sure to save this bike for our daughter. She's already got her eyes on it. Highly recommend it.』

『From the mother of a 2.5 year-old:

First, let me say that I didn't realize these came in a plastic case. This is so great, since my son tends to rip apart the typical paper/cardboard crayon boxes on the first day. The case has a clear lid w/ a hinge, and placeholders (little cut-ins that the pointed edge of the triangle can sit it) for each crayon which make it really easy for my son to constantly put them into and then take out of the box over and over.

As far as the quality of the crayons, these have not broken yet and appear to be very difficult to break (provided we can keep them away from the dog, of course). The crayons are thicker and longer than the Crayola triangular crayons, which we've come to learn break very easily. I think the number of crayons in the set (10) is perfect - it provides a good variety of colors to choose from.

I highly recommend these crayons. Try them, you'll be impressed! And your kid(s) will be too!』

『We bought this doll last year for our 1 1/2 year old daughter even though this was recommended for little older kids.It probably wasn't the right doll for her age. My daughter did love this doll especially feeding it with the bottle that came with it.But she still do not know how to handle it carefully.She usually grabs it sometimes by the hair or one leg and carries it around.So I kept this doll inside and plan to give it to her when she grows up enough to understand how to handle it. Unlike some reviewers we never found this doll irritating.Rather we felt it was very pleasant and sweet(esp. in comparison to few others that we checked out).

Now, in the ads I have seen doll asking for things but it came as monotonous and repetitive. She just keep on asking things frustrating every one of us. Any yes, it's more a machine than a doll. It's every part is motorized so don't expect it to be loved by toddler as they normally do with a "normal" doll.』

『My 3yo, who loves his vtech whiz kid, was bored with this in no time. The dialogue moves very slow and the story lines are very basic. The child must click "go" on each page in order to activate it, very redundant. Once on a page, and they click go, they must choose a game a t the bottom of the page, after what seems like 10seconds, it spits out "find the red square", etc.. very boring. If your child knows his colors and shapes, they will not find this too challenging - aka boring. I think the whiz kid is a much better product. Hopefully he will like some of the other books for this, otherwise its going back.』

I just bought a My First LeapPad (same as here), a First Touch LeapPad, AND 3 books at the manufacturer's website for less than that, including taxes and shipping. So look around. (A Great Educational Toy for the Money)
『We got this for our 3 y.o. because, frankly, we didn't want to spend the money on the bigger Leap Pad. I figured this would be a good introduction for him and he is perfectly happy with this it. At first I was concerned that he would outgrow it quickly but there is a good variety of books to go with the product so I think it will last a while.

It did take a bit of instruction for him to be able to put the book on by himself but the cartridges go in very easily so now he is quite independent with it. It also seems very sturdy and so far has stood up to the drops and bumps kids provide. I also like that the pages of the books are very sturdy and will take a lot of abuse.』

(Fun, But Already Broken)
『We bought this for my son who is too little for the bigger LeapPad. After reading so many good reviews and enjoying other LeapPad products, we were very disappointed when after about 2 weeks of infrequent use, it stopped recognizing the cartridges that go with it. Unfortunately, after Googling the problem, it turns out to be somewhat common for this product. I called their customer service they are going to send me a mailer to return/get a replacement, so I'll update after that. Their customer service rep claimed she had never heard of that problem (which I find a bit suspect after the number of people online who claim to have returned theirs) and asked me three times in a 10 minute call if I was sure the cartridge was for the My First LeapPad, even AFTER I explained to her that it the cartridge I was using had worked fine up to this point.

My son likes this toy, even though at 2 1/2 he can't play with it alone. We are really hoping the replacement works better.』
