(Friendly entertainment) 『While shopping for a Christmas gift for my grandfather, my 2 1/2 year old daughter discovered this pig and decided we needed to get it for grandpa rather then the fleece jacket I had picked out. After I had made sure she understood that we would be giving this to grandpa and not taking it home with us I put down the jacket and purchased the pig. My grandfather recently had to go into a nursing home following a hospital stay in order to receive the rehabilitation he will need in order to come home. Needless to say his spirits have been down. When we arrived with Arnold the pig my grandfather perked right up and loved his gift. I told him that my daughter had made me put back a jacket in order to get this pig and he said she had made a great decision. We left him holding onto his pig smiling and thanking us for the amusement we had left with him.』

It is cute and since the details are all stickers, there aren't lots of things to be broken.
One problem would be the many, small accessories. I have had to put them away because while my three year old isn't likely to put them in his mouth, his one year old brother is. The baby, baby carriage, books, dishes, etc, are in a little box that he can pull out when his baby brother is napping.

She loved it from the beginning and plays with it every day (which for her short attention span, is saying a lot!). It has become her preferred mode of transport when going to the park each day, and has become the envy of other kids who run over to also play with the car. This has meant she has now had to learn how to share with other kids, although initially she was very possessive of it. We love all the features, and particularly the telescoping handle and the tray for their feet.
The one improvement I hanker for is some form of brakes. We leave the car downstairs (which is a hardwood floor), so the car moves effortlessly and often away from our child while she is trying to get herself into the car. Amusing to watch at times but not what I would characterize as safe. I also would have preferred rubberized wheels to reduce road noise. Other than that, it's a great toy.』
(Radio Flyer Sport Coupe) 『I purchased this for my grandaughter's first birthday. She absolutely loves it. We are using it with the floor board in right now, pushing her around the yard. We couldn't get her out of it and she actually fell asleep while her cousin toured her around the yard. The shipping was very quick, but the biggest selling point was the durability. This toy will last through many grandchildren. My granddaughter loves the noises from the steering wheel, and I like that she cannot control the steering while we push. (I have another ride on toy that can be controlled, and you can't simply push in the direction you want to go.) Overall, I am very pleased with this car: it is made well and the kids love it. You will pay a little more than some 'car' toys, but it is well worth the price.』

The door is easy to open and close and he loves just climbing in and playing the 'radio' while pretending to drive. We push him around the house and/or yard using the handle which seems very sturdy. The handle can be lowered as well so he can push his car around the house too. The tray his feet rests in is nice, but it can be removed when he is old enough to use his feet to move the car. I would definitely recommend this product. It's well worth the $.』

My son first played with these in a doctors office and fell in love with them and then I got these for him for Christmas 2007. They are built well and I have had no issues with breakage of plastic and this is a great toy to develope hand/eye coordination skills.
The little green&purple spacers require some hand strength to pull apart so you may have to help your little one out until they build up their hand strength.
Side note: WARNING......Gears are adictive. I think I have more fun with it than my son.

(Terriffic set for the young ones) 『I bought this set for my 4 and 2 year old grandchildren knowing that it contained only one size gear. I had also purchased the Gizmos set that has only 82 pieces, so I thought this would expand it nicely.
Well, kids are kids and we (and I do mean we, the three of us) wound up playing with this set by itself.
What great fun! The 2 year old took to it like a duck to water and was happily building gear layouts that did nothing but turn. But she love it. Turn the crank and all the gears clattered along, amusing her no end.
The 4 year old, who has experience with these at school, was more ambitious. It turned into a race between grandson and grandpa to see who could expand our creation in the most adventurous way. By the end, we had constructed quite a machine that clattered and whirred and used up most of the pieces in the bucket.
The verdict: this set by itself is massively fun and entertaining for a 4 year old, a 2 year old and their substantially older grandfather. Having just one size of gear is not a drawback. And this set does work well with the expansion sets.
Gears! Gears! Gears! is a great concept and I can see that I will be happily expanding our collection over the months to come. I hope the kids interest in it will be as ardent as mine.

He even went out shopping with 1 or 2 pints in his backpack, i think my money are well spend on this toy, and i highly recommend them to all young kid's parents.
