IPhone 3G used's review (Not all it's cracked up to be.) 『I bought two of these for my niece's birthday. The idea of cracking an egg and opening it are great, but the metal egg is hard to open without throwing it down (which dents it permanently). The cloth egg doesnt fall out of the egg very well, either. My niece still played with it alot and I know overall, she will use it over and over again.』

I wish that I had bought more than one, (it would have been cute to have a dozen in a carton) but the price was too expensive. As for durability, the felt "egg" is going to get dirty and I'm not sure if it is washable. I gave a low educational rating because I'm not sure what a child could be learning from this. But, it does look like a real egg. I bought it for him to enjoy and he defiantly does! Still, because of the price, I don't think I'd buy another.』

(Realistic eggs for the play kitchen) 『This toy promotes imagination in your child's "kitchen". These cloth sunny side eggs come out of their metal painted shells and look like the real thing. They are so well made! A child can easily refold the cloth egg and put it back in the shells for a replay of the simulation of cracking an egg open to make a recipe or fry an egg. No cheap little platic parts here. HABA makes really well-made toys - like they used to make years ago. I purchased 3 of these and my daughter loves them for her play kitchen.』

(Very sweet and simple) 『This is a very simple toy that is perfect for a young toddler. We bought it for our daughter around 15 months. The baby has a very sweet face. She has a simple shirt and pant on. The hat does not come off, but the shirt and pants can be removed. The baby basket is very soft and has snug pockets to carry and hold a bottle and teddy bear. Our daughter still plays with the baby - she is now 3.5. It is great value for the money.』
(Soft and cute but not super impressed) 『I bought this doll for my 19 month old because she has another baby with a hard head that she loves and I thought this would be an instant hit. She does like to feed with the bottle but it is impossible for her to dress the baby (I even have a hard time getting the pants on correctly due to the gathers at the ankles), change the diaper and also difficult to put items back in the pockets. The handles on the moses basket should be a bit longer I think to accomodate little hands trying to hold both at once. Overall I don't think this is a bad buy for the money but I wouldn't purchase it with the intention of using it for much more than snuggling.』
(Great learning tool and toy for the very young) 『My first daughter is 21 months old and I am expecting a second daughter in 3 weeks. I have been very diligent to get non gender specific toys, I just didnt want to pigeonhole a girl into only "girl" toys. However when I found out I was pregnant again I knew I would get a baby doll for her to play with and learn.
I was very pleased yesterday as I opened the box and saw the quality of the doll and her accessories. She is small (but so are my daughters hands) and very cute, as is her bottle, bear, blanket and diaper. The moses basket that it all comes in has handles for easy carrying.
Within minutes of opening it up and showing my daughter how to "feed" the baby with the bottle she was doing it herself saying "baby, juice". She then would hold the baby and give it some love, put it in the moses basket and place the blanket over it. I was very impressed with her natural insticts and ability to play with the toy so fast. Im hoping that this will make the transistion in the home easier for her now that she has her own baby to take care of while I take care of her new baby sister.
I had gone to Toysrus to look for this doll but they didnt have it. They did however have many other baby dolls, most of which were far too large for my daughter. The one they had that was small enough she simply wasnt interested in. I was extremely happy how interested she is in this sweet little doll.
If your having a new baby and your oldest one is still very young I would highly reccomend getting this doll. I was a little hesitant at first since the price tag seems high for such a little doll, but if it works and they like it then I can live with paying 20.00.』

He had fun listening to the silly sounds the buttons on the keyboard make when pressed but has not learned much of anything else from this toy. As for the TV play part of this toy, I feel it is the biggest waste of money. Cause and effect are not easily recognized by the player due to the lack of good graphics and dramatic changes when buttons are pushed. My son gets frustrated and bored quickly with this setting and finds more entertainment in turning it on and off. At first I thought my son did not have the maturity for this toy, but he is now 2 years old and does not want to play with it. Don't waste your money!』

(not worth the money) 『an aunt bought this for my son for christmas when he was 14 months old. he never really got into it. i thought he would at least benefit from the "learn sign language" feature on the games but they were not at all attention grabbing. he was much more interested in the part that held the game cartridge, which unfortunately had to be within his reach in order for the "controller" to work and so we never got very far with this product. he is almost three now and i have another one year old so i often think about turning this on to see if they would be interested but most of the game cartridges are lost in my house right now. the "controller" has a play on your own feature and my son and daughter have always loved that. but it by itself is definitely not worth the cost of this product.』
(V.smile Baby vs. little leaps) 『Okay, my husband and i were torn between the v.baby smile and the leap frog little leaps for our daughter's first birthday. I spent DAYS online reading and comparing reviews. After hearing so many conflicting opinions we finally decided to buy them both and figure it out for ourselves. Here is what we came up with. Yes, the graphics are WAY better on the little leaps. But thats about the only thing we liked about the little leaps in comparison. The V.smile baby has graphics that will definately get the job done and was easier to set up. But the thing that REALLY sold us on the v.smile was that when you pressed a button something IMMEDIATELY changed on the screen. Even when the cartoons are talking and you are not instructed to push a button something little will pop up after a button is pushed. The cartoon continues explaining so you dont loose any information but the child can also see the effect of pushing that button. With the little leaps if you pushed a button out of turn nothing happend. And they talked alot and asked for little response. When they did want you to press a button the screen would just pause until you did. So to me it felt like watching an educational video and the child just has the pause and play buttons. Since we are buying it for our daughter's first birthday that would put her in the lower end of the recommended age for these toys so we wanted to go with the one that would hold her attention longer and would enforce things like cause and effect because she is going to care more about something popping up when she hits a button than what the cartoon is saying to her, atleast for now. Another plus to the v.smile baby is that the activity panel is a toy on its own and it offers sign language. Hope this helps anyone else that was in the same situation as us. Keep in mind that we did not buy any games for the systems since we were just testing them out so this review is based on the sample games that come with the systems. Also this review is based on what my huband and i noticed when we played with it, its a gift for our daughter so she has not yet played with it so i cant tell you how she responded to either of these toys. End result, the little leaps is getting returned and the V.smile is getting wrapped for her birthday.』
