『This is my far beyond favorite figure of Iron Man in the Mark 3 armor. I have alot of ideas for the future with this figure. I will repaint it as the Mark 2, and then make pieces to go on it to look like the Mark 1. I am definetly going to display this figure with my Marvel Crossovers Iron Man. I hope they make one of this figure in all three stages of the armor.』

『My 4 yr. old son loves this toy! More than two-and-a-half months after buying it for him, he still plays with it all of the time, takes it with him in the car whenever we let him, and has vanquished many an Evil Doer with a well-placed "Repulsor Blast!"

I can't imagine Tony Stark's armor being much tougher than this action figure. It gets "flown" into all types of surfaces at various rates of impact, and even the finely detailed fingers are still intact. The makers went the "extra mile" by including not just an "on" and "off" setting, but one in-between that silences the "whooshing" jet boot noise (which continues until Iron Man "lands" again...oh joy, haha), but still allows the sound effects/speech that occur when pressing the chest or arm buttons! (And speaking of those boot sound effects, we have had NONE of the problems in some other reviews of the boot switch not working that triggers the sound on and off for taking off or landing.)

I have only two minor complaints. First, there are some limits to the articulation of the arms, legs, and head. No』

『It seems like I've been waiting just about forever for someone to release a 12" scale Iron Man figure. My wait came to an end with the arrival of the Repulsor Power Iron Man figure from Hasbro's Iron Man movie toy line.

This isn't a perfect figure, but it's still pretty impressive. It's very close in appearance - if not scale - to the movie Iron Man, and the attention to detail is quite good. The head seems way small, especially if there's supposed to be a person in there. I would love to have seen a version of this figure with a removable helmet.

On the plus side, the electronic features are extremely cool. Beyond a few stock phrases ("I am Iron Man", "Repulsor Blast", "Switching to Auxiliary Power"), the figure also has a light up torso and left hand repulsor, and features motion activated sound effects for flight and landing (there's a trigger on the right boot) as well as repulsor sounds when the left arm is moved.

On the minus side, the figure is not as articulated as I had hoped. The head moves, as do the arms (but only forward), elbows, legs, and knees. The wrists do not move, which is understandable at least on the right hand with its missile launcher. The ankles do not move either, which is a bit disappointing. Of course, my figure will spend 99.9% of its time displayed on a bookshelf, so articulation is a relatively minor concern for me.

Small gripes aside, this is about as good an Iron Man figure as I had hoped for, and is a welcome addition to my 12" figure collection. It also withstood my 2-year-old's "intensive product testing", so I'll probably end up buying another for his upcoming birthday.

『I was looking for a wedding gift that my children could make that could be personalized. I read the reviews here, including one by a person that said they received the plates in two weeks. Our wedding was in six weeks, so I thought we would have time. Alas, these took almost eight weeks to receive. I even called the company when we sent the product in to see if they could rush our order -- we sent the drawings to them overnight -- but they said they could not do a rush order. So I would say if you're looking to get these plates for a special occasion, be sure you have at least two months (more if you don't want to overnight the drawings to them). I let them know that their product description on Amazon.com at the time I purchased said it took "a few weeks," and I see it doesn't say that anymore, [...] I just want to be sure that others aren't disappointed by the wait, as we were.

That said, the plates came back done correctly (I had sent specific instructions and called them as well) and they are durable and cute. I think we will use this product again.』

『This is our third year having the children's artwork turned into plates. We have not had any problems with the creation of the plates from this company. The first year we used the Make-it plates and some of the children's artwork was cut off, probably due to the kids coloring over the 1/2 inch boundary (not a problem with this kit). We have also used the kits with special markers where the kids color directly on the plates, and we have had extremely poor results with those kinds of kits - the artwork has not lasted.

Anyway, the kids just love using their art plates and seeing how their artwork has changed over the years. If you have to buy gifts for many children of different ages, this is a particularly good gift because you can kill a lot of birds with one stone - meaning, this gift will satisfy children from 2 up through early middle school, boy and girl.

『I bought this toy from Amazon at least 6 months ago. I consider it one of the best toys I've ever bought. We keep it in a cabinet easily accesible to my kids and they get it out 3-4 times a week MINIMUM. My kids were 3 and 5 at time of purchase and they LOVED it. When friends come over, they LOVE it. It is an ageless toy as young kids enjoy making designs at their level and even grown ups can be challenged by the possibilities. simple yet ingenious. The other toys that have been worth every penny that we keep in our cabinet are magformers and magnatiles. They are a one time investment as they are practically indestructible and will appeal to children for a long time to come.
However, I do find that I am always wanting to add on to the sets because they are such a hit you wonder how much more awesome they would be if you had more!』

『I'll keep this short. If you have a child who loves Indiana Jones, this is a spectacular set for them. My son walks around with the hat on, and holding the whip for many hours each day since I got it. His siblings are extremely jealous and they beg them to let him play. The only con is that you have to tell your child over and over again not to use this whip on anything by the floor. They can get carried away because it is so fun.』

I gave it to him early because as we all know, Indy's hat is not meant to be pretty. I told my son to sit on it, crumple it, stomp on it, etc. If anything, the felt hat is too well made! It still springs back to it's original shape. Guess he is just going to have to get rougher with it.
The whip is well made also. My dad had a great time in my backyard grabbing trees and such.』

『I have two boys who enjoy this castle. My youngest got it around age two and a half as a present for doing a job well. I think he was a bit too young for it at the time but his four year old brother loves it too. We've had it for about a year now and my youngest is three and a half now. He has grown into the toy and enjoys it now. Both boys play with it regularly and my older boy is almost five now. It's durable and well worth the money.』

『My 2.5 y/o boy loves all things knights, so I searched for a long time to find a play castle he'd like. I really liked the Playmobil products, but there were waaaaaaay too many tiny pieces that he couldn't manipulate and of course there's always the risk of a choking hazard. I liked the wooden castles but was leary of their durability and they just seemed so plain.

After reading many reviews I chose this castle and am so glad we did! It's very sturdy and has provided hours of fun for my child. I like that it encourages open play and doesn't require batteries or make annoying sounds. The knights aren't "scary", but they're more advanced looking than the happy Little People which IMO doesn't have the same creative play potential because it has fewer play options, i.e. no cannon, flags, secret passages, etc.

It folds up nice and neat and you can toss all the pieces inside if you want--minimal mess, which is great for a toy w/ the potential for a lot of small parts.

On that note, I got this for an older toddler that I knew was past the mouthing stage. There are several small pieces--helmets, swords, flags, the cannon ammo--that would worry me if he was still putting things in his mouth.

That said, I'd def recommend this product for older toddlers and up!』

-This is for older kids. A 4-year old will have a real hard time to snap them together and may feel frustrated.

『My daughter got this puzzle when she just turned a year old and she has used and abused it... but you would never know it. Melissa&Doug products really hold up and stand the test of toddlers. Yes they are more expensive than some others, but who cares? THEY LAST. I will be able to keep their products around for my next several children. My daughter has since mastered this puzzle so we are moving up to the 24 and 48 piece Melissa&Doug puzzles, but I know they will hold up as well.』

『We put this on our daughter's list along with some other ones of the same type for far-away relatives to consider for christmas. She has 4 of them&does them almost daily. She is almost 3, but fiercely independent&loves the accomplishment. I am glad they don't have the picture on the tray on the bottom as it would make it too easy for her to master them. We have had them for over 4 months now&haven't had any chipping or splinters. Yes, there are sometimes where she is grumpy&gets whiny about how she can't do it, but that's when we just take a cue to sit with her as she usually just wants some company. Depending on the day, her mood, it is a good toy for her to busy herself with alone or something one of us can sit&do with her. We're adding some new ones to the list for her birthday.』

『After reading the other review I baught this puzzle for my son. I have had this puzzle for about a week now, and prob. going to have to toss it. As if with the tightness mentioned in the other review isnt already frustrationg enough, The puzzle pieces are made with layerd wood and taking the puzzle apart made the peices crack&chip and now have little wood peices all over the floor, and some pictures started to peel off. With all this going on I dont think it is save now with the sharp corners and most likely splinters coming soon and if your child is still randomly putting stuff in his mouth still, then he might choke or cut himself. Short to say dont buy, waste of money and time.』

『My 2-1/2 yr old son enjoys puzzles,so this was a good first "jig sawy" type one to step up to. No photo underneath, but there's one on the back for parents to refer to. I am not sure if he's memorized where everything goes or if he's actually looking at the picture&matching stuff up. All the same, he loves this one as well as the 24 piece versions we're just starting him on. THe puzzles are very durable; a bit tight-fitting in the beginning, but will multiple use, the pieces go together more smoothly. No splitters; no cons so far to this; fits in a puzzle organzier.
