At first I was worried she would fall over and hurt herself on these exposed poles. Next, the poles fell off, which then exposes this clear glue which my child wants to chew on.
Just like the sorting cube I bought with this, the colored paint chips off. The square is 2 shapes which fit to be a square. Seems like a good advanced concept, but mostly concerned of the sharp edges. So those were put away.
I should have bought one of the plastic versions of this. The paint would not have chipped off. And maybe the poles would have been attached to the base rather than adhered with toxic glue.』
(I love this toy!) 『I purchased this for my 6 month old. Hes a little young so I keep the smaller blocks and the base away from him to keep from injury. But its great to watch him grab each piece from the stack and try to put it back.』
(Keeps my 21-month-old occupied for long periods) 『My 21-month-old son loves this stacker, and it keeps him occupied for long periods of time, so I can cook dinner or clean up. He has gone (in a few weeks) from dumping all the shapes and randomly stacking them back on, to being able to stack the round and hexagonal shapes together in the proper order. He still can't fit the square "jigsaw" pieces together in pairs, but I think it's just a matter of time. He also has one of the classic plastic ring pyramid stackers (I think Fisher Price?) which he enjoyed a lot when younger, but it didn't hold his interest like this does now.
As far as durability and safety: I have no complaints about the manufacturing - it seems very high quality and I expect it will last a long time though we haven't had it long (a few months?) We keep it on the coffee table or another low table (my son stands or sits in front of it) so I don't worry about him falling on the poles, though admittedly this was also a concern of mine with the simpler plastic stacker, since he tended to play with that more on the floor, where it could be a hazard.
One minor complaint (though this is more about my son's usage rather than the toy's fault): he has decided the top round shape is a "ball" and tries to throw it, so it is now "lost" since our floors and furniture can't withstand hard wooden balls being thrown around. 』
(Beware, this bleeds) 『Maybe it's non-toxic but after a half hour of our toddler playing with this - although he enjoyed it - his hands were red and there were red stains on his t-shirt. So its in the garbage now. Is it non-toxic I don't know, though if toy makers used toxic paints for years and lied about them, there's little reason to believe a label that boldly says non-toxic. How many pieces of clothing out there with Gucci labels are not made by Gucci?』

The magnets are helping my 10 month old little guy to realise that things can be stacked so I guess they have some educational value although not much. (Pretty good - not the most educational, but fun for toddlers and good for computer skills) 『We bought the ClickStart computer along with this Thomas game as a Christmas gift for my 2 1/2 year old son. He had started showing an interest in our computer and had already learned how to find letters on the keyboard and use the mouse, so we thought he would enjoy having his "own" little computer and that it would also help keep him from going on ours all the time. Thomas the Tank Engine (and all of Thomas' friends) are his favorite toys, so he absolutely loves this software, and it keeps him focused and engaged for a long time. It only comes with 3 games, all of which are fairly simple; this was somewhat disappointing, since for $20 I would have thought there would be more games included. Each game does have 2 skill levels, so I suppose you could say there are 6 games included, even though it is really only 3. The graphics are OK but not spectacular, though of course our son does not care or know the difference so that really doesn't matter. He has fun with the games and they are appropriately matched to his skill level; after a short amount of time playing the games with him (prompting him what to do) he is now able to start up the computer, select a game and play it totally on his own (without our help). He also enjoys the "in between game" activities such as clicking on as many tickets as possible within a certain time frame, to earn extra points, and I think these are particularly good for helping him master control of the mouse. It does have some educational value with games centered around letters, spelling words, finding shapes and numbers, counting, etc. but I think the most valuable skills he is learning are using the mouse and keyboard. The audio voice is sometimes a little difficult to hear above the music, so I think that sometimes he clicks around and gets the right answer by trial and error rather than by listening to the audio instructions and following them. Overall, we are happy with the purchase, though it does not have quite as much educational value as I had originally hoped.』

She kept reaching down and grabbing at the mat, this prevented her from using her hands to push herself around in a circle. I think that laying on that swivel hurt her stomach, too. I gave it away just a couple weeks after receiving it. It didn't work for my daughter, but it might work for someone else's.』

(perfect swing) 『After letting my daughter test out a few of my friends swings I decided on this one. It is : easy to install, secure and easy to use. The rope is perfect for her to hold on to but doesn't rub her like others did. The harness is great b/c it only takes 2 seconds to fasten and even though my toddler can unfasten a lap belt (like on a grocery cart) she can't unfasten this harness. The seat is a bit reclined, but I actually like that my 19 mo old will sit back and relax or tilt forward and try to swing herself. I gave it 3 stars for educational value because she has learned about wind, seasons, back and forth etc. while in the swing. I highly reccomend this swing for anyone w/ an infant who can sit well on their own to age 3』
