(Perfect little dollhouse) 『I wanted to buy this dollhouse for my daughter (now 3 1/2) last Christmas, but had already purchased all her gifts and couldn't justify spending another $60. I found it this past weekend at a mother's exchange sale in perfect (like new) condition for $10! I was planning on saving it for Christmas, but my daughter got a look at it and was so excited I couldn't put it away. She has been playing with it since. She even woke up extra early this morning to play with it. My 20 month old, when her sister gives her the chance, has enjoyed playing with it as well. The dollhouse is beautiful, solid wood. It is sturdy and has a garage door, front door and cabinets that open and close. The furniture is simple and classic- not the cloyingly sweet pink and purple plastic furniture in most dollhouses. I also love that, in the case we have a boy next, it is gender neutral. The people are positionable and are charming. I wish it came with a child doll, though. It would be nice if the handles clasped together, but my daughter usually ends up wrapping her arms around it and carrying it around in a hug (all the while telling me how much she loves her new dollhouse). I remember having a similar, though plastic, house when I was small and I've enjoyed watching my children derive so much joy with this classic toy. It may not light up or sing songs, but it encourages them to use their imagination and that is worth $60- much less $10.』

The garage door and front door that really open are a great touch. The dolls are nice and the furniture is nice and simple. I do like that there is not a lot of painted pieces. My sister and mom purchased Ryan's Room furniture to add to it. The Ryan's Room pieces are a bit bigger and higher quality. I imagine that we will replace the M&D furniture eventually with the RR, just due to space issues in the house. There isn't a ton of room to add other furniture sets, but you can get the grill set or the playground set or the pet set for outdoors, etc. Overall, I'm happy with it. My three year old likes to take all the furniture out and put it back in wherever, and my 5 year old likes to organize it all where it belongs. It's nicely transported from room to room, and neither child has had a problem with the handles not latching.』

Bad point is belt! Is this item really tested before they selling? We got 2 same things and both has same problem! It's easy to come off even 3 years old my son with biggest wrist size setting. It's came off! Every 5 min! they come to me to re-wrap on their wrist every 5 min. I wish I could use crazy glue it on the hole but I can't. I wish they designed same belt as usual watch band or even magic tape is much much better. I'm just waiting for my kids give up on this toy so I don't need to put it on every 5 min....

(Great learning toy but shapes don't fit together) 『I love Melissa&Doug toys because they are educational, innovative and lead-free. However, though this toy is great because of the educational aspect and the magnetics, my son and I were disappointed that the shapes don't align and fit together properly because they have rounded tips. This makes it hard to make the patterns it comes with. If your child would be frustrated because they want it to fit perfectly, then you might consider their other pattern block sets in the wooden box. (Fun, but not very portable....) 『As soon as I saw this product, I wanted to get it. The idea was wonderful...my child gets into a panic when pieces don't line up perfectly.
I love the patterns that came with it, but strangely, some of the pieces fit in an awkward fashion on there...they don't want to line up.
Also, the numerous tiny pieces make it difficult to keep them "corralled". I just used a baggie, but my intention was to take this along on car rides. I have a feeling these pieces will disappear quickly if we do that.
Overall, this is a great product, but it is definitely more for seat work. It is not as portable as I thought it would be.

Notified amazon.com and I was sent a replacement immediately. Counted the coins again and only received 26 instead of 40. Decided to just keep it. Notified the manufacturer. My daughter enjoys pulling out the play credit cards, putting them back in the wallet; pulling out the coins and playing with them and putting them back in the wallet. I have set the play dollars aside for now. The plastic coins are washable. As she gets older, I will use this to teach her about the specific coins, counting, pretend play, etc. With this age group, recommend playing with the coins under close supervision only.』

IPhone 3G used's review (Great toy) 『Had two Bilibo's delivered to my grandchildren (ages 1.5 and 2.5) while we were on vacation. What great fun the Bilibo's are! They spin and rock in them, sort toys into them, cradle their babies in them and walk around with them on their heads acting like cartoon characters. We haven't even tried them out in snow! The play value is immense and never ending which is what great toys become.
And while at my 2.5 yr. grandchild's, she stands in it, hangs on to a chair and twists and balances standing in it. Her mother was a gymnast and NCAA diver and this looks like a great toy to build those ankles up for balancing and take-offs. The 1.5 yr. old uses it for his cars and trucks and plays train with the Bilibo as a tunnel. He also uses it like the back of a dump truck.
I would rank the Bilibo up there with staples for the nursery/kindergarten like blocks and balls. There is no end to the creativity and usefulness a child gets from it. It looks like fun and the children see it that way immediately. I bought it using Amazon's system of review and bestsellers, the video of the Bilibo and my child development education background. On all levels it was A+!!』
