(Great game when compared to others Leapster games we have) 『My daughter loves Diego, so that helps a lot. She is a bit young for the game, but she has been playing it more lately. We've had it for about two months. There are very basic games that have the player just search around for shapes or numbers before the player can move on (through a doorway) to the next puzzle. I believe there are three main missins that each have three levels and I think there are a few minigames as well. I played it for a bit, so I could understand what was going on and help my daughter figure it out. I did become bored rather quickly picking up food boxes. Still, I think it is a great overall game and is much better than the Little Mermaid or the default games that come with the unit.

(A Definite Hit) 『We purchased Leapsters and several game cartridges for my sons ages 7&5. My oldest autistic son received this game and it is by far both of their favorites. They also received Creature Create, Pet Pals (both of which bore them), Ratatouille, and Cars:Supercharged (Their second favorite). They both have a lot of fun playing this game, and their 3 year old brother even loves this one (he's the only real Diego fan of the lot). There are three different "Missions" and within each mission, there are quite a few questions to answer. The child first has to find the question mark, which then asks them a learning question. Then three or four answer banners appear within each section and the child must find the correct answer. The gate to the next section/question will then be open. There is also a "mini-game" within each mission that asks a learning question. The higher levels have pattern completion, addition,, etc. I am pleasantly surprised with this game, especially since the older ones are not Diego fans, but LOVE this game.』 『Al rescate! All of their other wooden toys are painted, so I expected the letters to also be painted. They aren't. Instead, it is a paper lining over the letter, which easily came off into my sons mouth moments after opening the package. My friend purchased cheap plastic letters at a local store, and is much happier with hers. I wish I had done the same. For now, they are packed up until my son gets over his sucking on everything phase.
If your child likes to put toys in their mouth, these letters won't hold up to the drool.』

Once our two boys -- ages 5 and 4 -- opened it up, they were entranced for hours. They quickly incorporated other pirate toys and Matchbox cars and pulled me down on their floor rug, where we role played pirate adventures.
The toy is durable but you can't abuse it. There are lots of small parts -- pirates, cannonballs and a crocodile that snap into place. 』

Although I really liked some other houses that were made of wood, they were too expensive. I thought this was a better buy to see if she would get into playing with dollhouses seriously.
Keep in mind that there is a bit of assembly when you receive the box - The house is together, but you have to put all of the exterior trim on and the staircase.
My main disappointment with the house is that I thought it should have come with more furniture to start. It only came with the basic family (mom, dad&twin babies), a kitchen table set with 2 chairs&2 booster seats. Thank goodness I wound up buying the extra furniture sets (bathroom, parents' bedroom, nursery&mini van). For the price, i think they should have at least included the kitchen appliances.
Also, I found that one of the folding doors in the back does not readily latch and keeps popping open when transporting the house. And the staircase gets in the way - it blocks 1/2 of the first floor! (I just leave this loose so it can be taken out easily)
Finally, why didn't Fisher-Price put in a doorbell that makes sound?! That is one of the most requested items on the house from my daughter. She would love to have a doorbell!
Oervall, this is a very durable, quality product from Fisher-Price and I think it is an excellent 1st doll house for this price range.
