(Good enough for my great-nephew) 『Finally, I found a gift for my eight-year-old great-nephew that he completely loves! The big pile of legos you see in the sales picture actually comes in many separate packages encased in a big plastic box with lid. I didn't know the plates come separate, but luckily he had some from another, much smaller box of legos he already had on hand. (If this is your first Legos purchase, you need to get some plates, necessary for stabilizing the created structures.)
I dropped off the box at 8 in the morning. When I returned at 1 pm, he had made two incredible structures with two of the plates. They were creative and aesthetic. I had no idea what could be done with legos. The limit is one's imagination, and legos challenge that. The fact that these legos do not come in pre-packaged creations (Star Wars themed figures, for example) make this box require the use of the mind and imagination, dexterity and coordination. I was impressed with what my nephew could do and will do.
Legos of the non-structured form come highly recommended! Just don't forget plates!

After looking at dozens of different types of bounce houses, I settled on this one because it seemed large, safe&the price was unbeatable. Although the dimensions are clearly stated, it was bigger than I pictured it, which for us was a great thing. My daughter was 20 months when we bought it and she's been bouncing with joy ever since.
The sides are high&strong enough that she can't fall out even if she throws herself against the side, which is why I prefer this to a trampoline. (Please keep in mind that she's tiny now--I don`t know that this holds true for 6 year olds&such!) We've had no problems with leaks or damage, and it inflates very quickly (15 minutes or less) with the Coleman electric pump we purchased. The first time we inflated it, we used a manual bike pump and that took around an hour, so even that's not so bad.
It has multiple uses--fort, playhouse and ball pit (to an extent, because of the open door you can't pile the balls very deep but its plenty for a toddler in my opinion). I was going to also purchase her a play tent or play house around the same time I bought this, but I've put those plans on hold for the moment since she's happy to bring all of her stuffed animals in her castle and play peek a boo through the door. This has to be the best 50.00 I spent in my life. Months of daily play now that we keep it permanently inflated in the living room.
She even watches Sesame Street through the door as she bounces, so TV has become much more active which makes me really happy. Although to be honest, most of the time she`s paying much more attention to bouncing than Elmo!』

It has been in our living room for more than 2 months without the need of repumping even many kids have been to our home and played on it. My son has low muscle tone, at first, he scared of playing inside. Then I used a candy reward to ask him jump inside to pick it, he then have fun in picking the candy inside the bouncer. (Great Value Great Fun) 『I bought this bouncer for my son's 2nd birthday. We live in Wisconsin and have very long winters where that extra energy really needs to be burned off. I wanted to find a decent bouncer that would fit in an average sized house. Like many people we simply cannot afford a lot of extras right now. I read many of the reviews on line of several bouncer and decided on this one. I had my doubts since there were mixed reviews. We have had the bouncer for 6 months and it is holding up very well. My son is 2 and my daughter is 4. My son is as rough and tumble as they come and both kids try to find the most obscure way to abuse toys. On this bouncer they like to walk around the outside rim of the bouncer, holding on to the sides, and jumping all the while. So far the bouncer has held up very well. It does fill up our living room leaving just enough room for the couch and TV, but that is what we expected. We have an electric pump which has made filling it up and taking it down very easy. Since it does take up the majority of the living room we take it down often. There are several chambers to fill up and so far only one has developed a small leak and it is the very top chamber that is more decorative, the yellow top trim that makes it look like a castle. The hardest part about this bouncer is finding a place to store it when deflated. We settle for a large cardboard box in the basement but it alwasy seems to be in the way, but that's not a product problem. This can tip over. Both kids like to run together into the sides and that can cause it to tip over. If there were hard objects around, like the wall, the kids can get bumps and we have had our share of running into each other. We solve this with pretty strict supervision. I wouldn't just leave kids this young to bounce on their own. Maybe older. Over-all I am surprised at how well a product so seemingly cheap has held up and kept my kids interest. (As a side note, the swords that come with the bouncer only lead to fights in this household and are permanently put away. The product is great without them.) When you first take him out of his box, T.M.X. Elmo doesn't seem all that grand. He looks after all, well, like Elmo. Covered in the soft red fur that one would expect from everyone's favoriteSesame Streetcharacter, T.M.X. Elmo stands an unimposing 14 inches tall. Even worse, he feels all hard and plasticy under his fur. But this Elmo is not meant for cuddles or hand holding or swaddling.
This Elmo is all about tickles.
Sit T.M.X. Elmo down and hit one of his three "tickle" spots. There's one under his chin, one on his belly, and one on top of his foot. Yes, this Elmo wiggles just like he did 10 years ago, but that's just the start. Elmo slaps his belly, falls forward with his butt sticking out, stands back up again only to topple backwards, kicks his legs over his belly, and then stands right back up, all while laughing hysterically.

Elmo gets more outrageous when you "tickle" him a second time, and the fun really starts with the third "tickle" session. Elmo's fancy moves include falling over on his side, shimmying on his back, and what seems to be everyone's favorite: lying flat on his belly slapping the floor next to him as if he can't stop laughing. This Elmo has a serious case of the giggles. His trademark voice builds into a fit of histrionics, endless snickers that drown out everything but an unintelligible cackle until even Elmo admits he has had too much.
T.M.X Elmo requires 6 AA batteries, which are included, although these wore down quickly in our review copy. Elmo also has an on/off switch, so the tickles can be brought to an end when more than just Elmo has had too much. He moves a lot and needs a little open space for the full performance, although he does use his arm to determine his orientation periodically and stand back up if nothing is in the way. He gets a little stuck on uneven surfaces but for the most part performs amazingly well on carpet. On hardwood floors, Elmo works, but he occasionally slams his eyes on the floor in a way that seems it should halt the show.
In the end, T.M.X. Elmo is undeniably a trooper. Early reviews show that this turbocharged version of Tickle Me Elmo will follow the stellar path enjoyed by his much simpler predecessor.--David Morel』

I agree with others that on some of the songs the singer is horribly off-key and even messes up the words a bit, namely on Old MacDonald Had A Farm, but I found that to be funny. The only think I do not like about the book is on Humpty Dumpty there is an egg cracking noise that I personally find a little morbid, but then again, many nursery rhymes are morbid. All in all I recommend this book. I find the imperfections to be entertaining and even a little kitschy! I definitely recommend it.』

One thing, though--I do think that if he'd received them any younger, he would have put them in his mouth and ruined them. Twelve months was the right time to receive them. I noticed, however, that Melissa&Doug also make wooden nesting blocks, and that might be another way to go; they wouldn't be quite as light, of course, but I bet they're still a great toy.
They are starting to get a little beat up NOW, and I will buy a second set for my second son, but that's not bad for the amount of use we've gotten from a $10 toy.』

The outer covering also started peeling away on the top of the blocks. Bummer...』

I remembered my little brother playing with this type of Fisher Price garage (25 yrs ago) and he loved it so I bought it. First complaint: The truck is really LOUD. First time my son touched it, it scared him so much, he crawled away quickly and had a frown on his face. For about 2 weeks, he was terrified of the truck but kept wanting to play with the garage. I finally put a tape over the speaker to muffle the noise (I do this with most toys now a days because they're so loud). Second complaint: Elevator sucks! It is extremely hard to move the elevator up and down, my son has a hard time pulling it up. So hard that when he puts the car in and pull the elevator up, the entire toy jolts around and the car falls out of the elevator. Third complaint: When he pushes the car down the ramp, most of the times, little people goes flying off the car (LOL). What was Fisher Price trying to teach the kids?? Forth complaint: Second floor is completely useless since the ramp isn't even connected to it. I don't understand this concept but hey, it's a toy...
Even though I don't approve of this toy, my son still plays with it. I guess he is still too young to wonder why little people flies off the car, falls to their death and why the entire toy jolts around when he uses the elevator.』
