『I wanted good wooden pretend food (hate plastic toys) and I wanted a nice starter selection for a good price without having to buy, say, a separate veggie or fruit set. This is a basic food groups set so you get (4) little wooden crates filled with meats, veggies-n-fruits, dairy, and grains.

That said, after receiving the product, I can confirm that buying separate sets would have yielded superior pretend food, but would have quadrupled the investment. Besides, the kids love it and engage in all the rich, imaginative and independent play parents love to peripherally watch while reading the newspaper or something.

In summary,
Pros:
-All wood, nice all-in-one selection
-Kids like it a lot

Cons:
-Made in China
-All the produce is smaller than life-size -- even the egg and lemon (whereas the individual sets include many life-size items)
-Paint from some of the produce arrived scuffed onto other produce (enough to induce a mildly annoyed "come-on" but not enough to initiate a return or obsess over)』

He's now 24 months and I no longer allow him to play in it as a trampoline because of the fear of neck/head injury. The walls are not very sturdy and he tumbled out of it more than he landed in it. We also had problems with it staying inflated.』

『I bought this for my grandson when he was about 2 1/2. I has been a total disappointment, even at age 3.

Nails&hammer: At first, he really enjoyed hammering in the 2 nails into the holes in the side of the toolbox. But an strong adult needs to pull the nails out. I can't do it. He really hammers hard!

Hammering the nails is the only part of the toy that he liked, but he lost interest. Even at 3 yr. - I can't get him to play with it.

Screws, washers, screwdriver&wrench:
The holes in the side of the toolbox are TOO BIG for the screws. The 6 screws are over 2" long and there are washers that can be screwed on. However, it is so much easier to use your fingers to fasten the washers, so the screwdriver isn't needed. And it is useless to try to use the wrench to unfasten them.

*** A toddler cannot use the screwdriver while holding the washer in place all by himself. He doesn't have enough hands.

I called Melissa&Doug, thinking I wasn't teaching him how to use the toy correctly. The rep. said we should connect the brackets with the screws to make interesting designs or - I'm not sure what. But I did try to show him. No Fun!

『This remake of the classic pull string animal sound toy, uses a lever instead of the string. The farm animal sounds are fun, and the educational value is good for 9 months-18 months, in my opinion. The main issue I have with the toy (like a lot of others) is the lever. I would say the lever is designed for a 2+ year old to pull - younger kids can pull it partially, but not all the way, but the rest of the toy is really ideal for kids in the 9-18 month range. This mismatch keeps the toy from being a full recommendation. I would buy it again, but hope Fisher Price improves this product in the future.』

『The See 'n Say lets our 2 year old choose from 16 different animals, 2 animal songs or the "animal quiz." My son especially likes the song option which either plays "Old McDonald" or "Farmer in the Dell." I like how this new model has more animals than the older version. This version is smaller and slightly easier for little hands to pull. This new model runs on batteries as opposed to the wind-up/unwind kind with the harder-to-pull lever or string.
The major problem with this toy is that it simply isn't loud enough. The spinning wheel drowns out the sound of the animals. It's not even that the spinner is too loud. The toy is just too quiet even in a room with no other noise. It would be impossible to hear it in a daycare or some other louder setting.
Overall, it's a good toy for teaching animals and sounds. The pictures are bright and vivid. I just wish it was louder.』

『We bought this toy for my daughter for her second birthday. Two months later.. she still loves it! She knows exactly what her pizza is and loves to "cut" slices from it! It comes with a pizza cuter and a server spoon, but she really only uses the cutter to cut the pizza and picks it up with her hands after that.

There are SO many pieces to this pizza! You have either peppers, mushrooms or pepperoni to top your pizza with.. and there are enough pieces to do one topping, or mix them all up. Each slice gets 3 toppings to it. One thing I do want to mention though is when you first open the toy up.. the paint smell is just overwhelming - a lot of paint is used on the pieces. It disappears the next day, but wow.

Overall, excellent toy. The pizza has been a big hit here and it is extremely durable - love the wooden toys. Highly recommend this pizza kit to any child!』

The case can also double as depot for more related items, like more crayons/pens, paper sheets and so on, the shipped contents itself doesn't fill to half of the space.

The only inconvenience is that is huge, is bigger than a travel carry on and i had problems traveling with it.

These things were fun for us, as well, but possibly the best toy from the adult point of view was the small piece of plastic, shaped like a kind of meat pounder, that is flat on the bottom and allows one to easily pick up small pieces of playdoh from flat surfaces.
