Usually ships in 24 hours IPhone 3G used's review (Fun toy) 『My daughter, who is almost four, loves this doll. She is not a doll lover and never showed any interest in dolls until this one. She has played with it every day. It makes her laugh, and she talks to it. It is expensive at $50, but since this was her first doll request I caved in. My daughter loves brushing the doll's teeth, giving her a drink (and my daughter has figured out that pushing the dolls tongue triggers the drinking sounds and finds it extremely funny that the doll will "eat" the tooth paste or anything else she puts in her mouth). The pee/poop sounds also make her laugh, especially when the doll says "oh that is stinky". I agree with the other reviewer about the shelves, they don't stay on. I kept the back drop as well and left the toilet and sink attached at the bottom. This adds stablity. Plus it makes it look like a little bathroom. I wasn't interested in this doll because my daughter is already potty trained, but she loves it. My daughter has a little trouble with the flushing of the toy toilet, it is hard to push down all the way. Things I like about the toy is that it says please and thank you. The one thing that I have reservations about is that the doll makes a "rasberry" sound then laughs. My daughter finds this hilarous, but now copies it and blows rasberries all the time. I also wish the doll was programmed to ask to play or look at a book with the child. At least some activity away from the toilet, and then has to stop play to go potty (that would be a good potty training skill reinforcer). Our doll seems to loop into the sleep talk a lot, and rarely talks about washing hands. Overall we are satisfied, everything works and my daughter is having fun roll playing.』
(Initially a let down, but it worked!) 『I was initially disappointed with the toy but things worked out for us in the end.
Cons: The shelves never stay on (we glued them) and the whole thing falls over easily (we kept the back drop of the box and rest it in there). The doll goes through its round of phrases, sometimes completely contradicting what my daughter is actually doing with her. The toilet almost never flushes to the clean image the first time, and often not even the second time (my daughter doesn't mind but it drives me crazy). Also, the doll only makes the sounds that she is going potty if you get her on the sit just right.
Pros: No mess. Play includes having the doll go pee and poop (important with our very resistant child). Any doll or toy can be put on the potty and it will trigger the switch so it looks like they went. The doll can be turned off for "free" play (though having her on when brushing her teeth is hilarious).
I gave it 4 stars because, well, it worked! The night it arrived my 2 1/2 year old, who usually screams if you try to change a dirty diaper let alone try to get her to poop on the potty, said "Gotta Go" and did. That was 8 days ago and she has been in underwear, with only two accidents, for the last 5 days. Previously she was willing to pee when we asked her to but wouldn't ask to go and absolutely would not poop on the potty. For her getting this doll seems to have been what she needed to take that final step.』 『Mattel L9144 -This toddler baby doll comes with her very own bathroom playset -Girls can help their doll go number one and number two, wash her hands and brush her teeth. -For ages 2 and over. -Complete with potty, sink, towel and everything she needs to wash up and go. -Self-contained potty and no water play means no mess, only fun.』 『Young children love to play at being "grown-up" -- in fact, it's a crucial part of their development. With the Fisher-Price Little Mommy Gotta Go Doll, their role playing is taken to a whole new level. What We Think
Fun Factor:
Durability:
(what this means)
The Good:Potty-training doll uses her own potty with no real water and no mess.
The Bad:Some of the doll's phrases are not always easy to understand.
In a Nutshell:Doll with realistic sounds and interactive phrases make exciting role-playing fun for little girls.
At a Glance
Ages:8 and older Requires:6 AAA Batteries
Interactive Doll Makes Roll-Playing More Fun The adorable toddler doll comes dressed in a cute T-shirt and a pair of "big girl" panties. She has positionable arms and legs, bright friendly eyes, and curly pigtails and bangs that can be combed with the included brush. The doll comes with her own bathroom accessories: a toilet, sink, and two bathroom shelves that hold the included toothbrush, toothpaste tube, hairbrush, cup, soap dispenser, and towel.
The doll can be extracted relatively easily from the box, but it takes an adult with wire cutters or a pair of tough scissors to do it. Once she and her bathroom accessories are out, you'll need to install fresh batteries: the doll takes 3 AA batteries, as does the bathroom unit.
Press the button on her tummy to get the doll started. She will turn her head from side to side, move her arms up and down, and begin "talking." She has a set of randomized phrases, including, "I'm a big girl!" "Hi, Mommy!" and "Mommy, I love you." And she'll ask your child for help. For example, she'll ask for a drink of water, and when you hold the cup to her mouth, and she'll make drinking sounds. Likewise, she'll say "Time to brush my teeth!" If you "brush" her teeth with her toothbrush, she will make realistic tooth-brushing and gargling sounds.
Using the Potty The Gotta Go Doll's central feature, of course, is using the potty. Sit the doll on the toilet, and it will sound like she is "going" in the toilet -- and she will talk about the process, too, humming a tune before she "goes," and saying "I really have to go!" or singing "Pee pee in the potty!" and other phrases that will be funny and delightful to a young child.
In the meantime, when the doll is positioned on the toilet, the "water" in the toilet disappears, with the expected "potty waste" appearing in its place. Your child can then flush the toilet. The "water" will reappear, while the toilet makes a very realistic flushing sound. Wash the doll's hands at the sink -- turn the right faucet to hear realistic running-water sounds.
Once the fun is finished, your child can simply lay the doll on her back. She'll yawn, say she is "sleepy," and the doll will enter a sleep mode. Move the doll to "wake" her up. She makes a yawning sound and is ready for play again.
Realistic Play with No Mess! The realistic sounds and randomized, interactive phrases from the doll make a delightful stimulation for role playing. And we personally were relieved to find that, unlike other "pee pee" dolls, this one doesn't require real water -- and real mess -- to provide realistic, interactive fun.
However, we did find it a little bit difficult to understand some of the doll's phrases -- it took a couple of listens to figure out what she was saying. And our particular doll, unfortunately, makes a tooth-brushing sound immediately after her water-drinking sound, whether you're brushing her teeth or not. But these two minor inconveniences won't detract from a child's enjoyment in taking good care of this little doll.

It is wayyyyy more appropiate for the 18 mo. to 3yr old. most 4 yr olds already know the alphabet and letter sounds, and a 7 yr old would definitely find it boring and babyish!』
(She loves it, but...) 『"Santa" brought this for my 2-year-old daughter in 2007, and she loved it immediately. She uses her laptop daily sitting next to me as I use mine, which was the plan. However, after about 6 months the keys became less responsive&after 7 months they did not respond at all. So, my daughter turns on her favorite toy and tells us over and over "it's broken, fix it." I have had no luck contacting FisherPrice. "Santa" will be bringing her a different brand laptop this year.』
(Great learning toy! My son loves it!) 『Watch Video Here: http://www.amazon.com/review/R2SL6O5YUF30X9My son is 22 months and he ABSOLUTELY LOVES this laptop! He says it is his "puter" and he loves to carry it around with him. I like it because it's easy to travel with and we often take it to restaurants. It is durable, simple for him to operate, and he can now recognize letters Aa, Bb, Kk, Mm, Oo, Xx, and Zz (see video)! It's a bit expensive, but watch for sales. I found ours in August on Amazon.com for just under $20!』
(Also fun for young kids!) 『I was looking for a laptop for my 14m old, since he likes panels with screens and buttons. Most of the laptops for<2y olds are just silly buttons with some sounds and lights, far from real laptops. So I went to our local Kmart and tested several of laptops for older kids.
Although they are all marked as 3+, they do show different education levels. Some of the laptops require knowledge of counting, comparing, spelling, and finding, which are certainly too advanced for my 14m old. However, this Laughtop has certain options for younger kids; in other words, you don't really need to understand it to be able to make things happen. My son mostly plays with the "letters" option ---e.g., pressing the key "L" initiats the pronunciation and the word "Lion", then an animation of a lion appears on the screen and "roars". He also enjoys watching me playing other games.
With time passing by, he's more and more engaged with this toy and less with others.』
(Great for electronics-loving kids) 『My son is only 1, but he is obsessed with computers, cell phones, remote controls, etc. We bought this to see if he would play while we used our laptops (he freaks out and wants to bang on the keyboards of our REAL computers...) He loves the laughtop, but it didn't divert him from wanting ours! Good toy overall, though. I also looked at a few with the detached mouse, but since my boy likes to chew on everything, I figured this brand would be better for him.』 『Preschoolers will laugh and learn a lot with their very own kid-sized laptop. Through engaging activities, they'll build key academic skills like phonics, upper and lowercase letters, letter recognition, and letter order. Features three modes: Letters, Phonics Fun Mouse Game and Tunes. A green backlit LCD display makes the screen interesting and fun for kids. Requires 3 "AA" batteries (included). Measures 8" x 10.75" x 8.25".』

(Love this set!!!!) 『Not much to say other than my 3 year old loves it and so do I. This is going to be a GREAT learing toy.』
(My 3year old loves it!!) 『It keeps her attention and she loves counting along with it!! I think it's great, well worth the money!』
(Great Toy) 『My son loves this toy. He is 2 years old and his favorite part is the voice that counts out loud as he push apples into the tree. There is a lot to do with this toy and I know as my son gets older he will discover this. The first night he got it, he played with it for hours.』
(Lots to Do in One Toy, Perfect for Siblings) 『I like this toy because my two-year-old twins can play with it at the same time without arguing. We got it last week, and it's still the main draw in the playroom. It comes with a boy and a girl doll, and a 4-part town for them to explore: a school, the dentist and doctor, the pet store and a pizza shop, and a swing under an apple tree.
A voice counts out loud as you push apples into the tree, and my son loves this best. My daughter likes to put the dolls in the pizza shop, and put the pizzas in the oven. They love pushing anything that results in a song, voice or sound, and there's lots of that here. I'm not sure this toy would hold the attention of 5-year-olds, but I think it's perfect for 2-3 year olds.』 『In this tiny town, kids learn all sorts of lessons through interactive play. Little ones learn ABCs, numbers, colors, shapes and more in a unique format that unfolds for all-around playset play. Start at the doctor and dentist offices with a weight scale and dentist chair. Then grab a snack at the shape-sorting pizza shop with four different shaped pizza disks and a shape identifier. Stop and see the animals at the sort-and-match pet shop with an interactive cash register. At the ABC school, kids learn the full alphabet and practice writing letters on the magnetic drawing board. Push on the tower to hear the entire ABC song. At the numbers treehouse, drop the 10 apple disks through the tree and the playset counts along; then press the lever to release them into the bushel. There's also an open/close door and swing for Little People figures. And at the interactive traffic signal, push down for a learning tune. Fun tunes and sound effects along the way highlight learning in each location. Includes two articulated Little People figures, table, two chairs, easel, tricycle, 10 "apple" disks and four pizza disks. Folds closed for storage with handle. Measures 44"L x 12"W x 15"H. It comes with several pieces of furniture and the top dome lights up and plays music. It's one of the prettiest castle toys I have seen. My daughter wanted it sooo badly so we found it at Target for $69.99. It does NOT come with the doll, but the doll that comes with this version is the regular Liana doll, NOT the singing one.
We picked up the singing one and a pet pack of the puppies. It's all very pretty and cute. She should be thrilled come Christmas. But do shop around before committing to Amazon's price.』
(Price is way too high on amazon) 『I don't understand why amazon hasn't dropped any of the prices on any of the toys I am going to buy this year. I found this at Kmart for $85.00. My twin girls (three years old) love this toy, and it was worth the investment, but my goodness is it pricey. Usually ships in 24 hours IPhone 3G used's review (Super Smart, Super Fun) 『Just got V-Motion for my kids. They are so excited to be playing like the Wii. The numbers and the letter games are great. They are making so much progress with their alphabet and it is truly by playing these games. They are having a blast and the bonus is that it is super easy to set up. This is the best money I"ve spent on a toy yet.』
(Great new Vsmile system but like Wii) 『I've heard a lot about VMotion and I admit I am a VTech fan. I bought this for my neices and they loved the grown-up motion play! My oldest was a VSmile user and now is showing her little sister (4) how to play. The games seem just like the old VSmile just with a new joystick! I like it and so does my neices. My child wont get theirs until Christmas but what they've done with their cousins-they can't wait.』
(Limited education, motion hard to use) 『I bought this for my 6 year old son, really excited that now he could have his own "wii" and might actually learn something while playing it. However, the motion controller is really hard to use - it's not very intuitive, and even I can't seem to get it to direct the characters on screen. On most of the games you can choose whether to play with motion or the joystick, and after a few times of trying to use the motion, he now only plays with the joystick because it was so frustrating. Needless to say, this product is not going to get your kids off the couch and moving while they're playing games.
Additionally, I'm not really sure where the educational content is in this product - there's a little bit scattered here and there (i.e. letters, words) but to be honest, he's not really learning much. Most of the games are more like traditional video games - it's almost like they just threw in some letters so they could call it "educational". Our next door neighbors have the Leapster and their mom has told me how much her boys have learned in terms of math and spelling, so I really thought this system would help my son in the same way (definitely not).
I tried to use the v link thing too - they say it's supposed to let me see his progress online. It's pretty weak - it's pretty hard to figure out the relative value of what they're telling me, and it's not really anything more than what I can pick up just by watching him play.
My sister just bought the new Leapster 2 for her daughter and she's already raving about it - plus it has this learning path thing online that tells her actual details about what her daughter is playing - even down to what questions she got wrong. Now that is cool.
My recommendation - buy a Leapster 2 if you want education or a Wii if you want motion - but don't waste your money on this.』
(GREAT UPGRADE TO THE REGULAR V.SMILE) 『I BOUGHT THIS FOR MY 5&7 YR OLD. THEY BOTH LOVE IT. MY 5YR OLD HAS BARELY GOTTEN INTO VIDEO GAMES HE HAS ADHD, AND HE LOVES PLAYING WITH THE GAMES. VERY SIMPLE TO USE. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. I HAVE TO SAY I CAN'T GET THE V.LINK TO WORK IT SEEMS IT IS STILL NOT OPERATIONAL INT THEIR WEBSITE. 』 『Don't just park your child in front of the TV - put them in motion! The V.Smile Learning System gets kids moving while driving home lessons in math, reading, science, spelling and more. This brilliant breakthrough gaming console combines wireless, motion-activated play, Web connectivity and educational gaming into a system that plugs directly into your television. This educational gaming system is designed to keep kids aged three to seven amused and motivated for hours at a time. They will have plenty of fun using the wireless controller to practice hand eye coordination, solve puzzles, and win races.

The Good:Educational gaming system encourages creativity and problem solving

Included "Action Mania" Smartridge features six types of games . View larger.
Easy to Setup and Control Getting ready for your child's first game is easy. Simply insert the included AA batteries into the game console and the included AAA batteries into the controller. Then connect the console to your TV using the include A/V cable, slide a Smartridge cartridge into the game slot, and you're ready to go.
For each game, there are two control options. Kids can pick to use the joystick as a directional controller, or they can pick to use the motion of the controller itself. This means that tipping the controller left, right, forward, or backward inspires a corresponding motion on screen, letting kids get up and move around instead of staying stationary in front of the TV.
This is extra fun when your on-screen character is doing something fast-paced, like racing down a bobsled course. On the flip side, games that require more nuanced controls are often easier to navigate using the joystick. There's even a switch that lets you decide which way is "up," so the controller can be customized to accommodate right and left handed players.
Lots of Ways to Play Educational Games It's easy to see why this system won the National Parenting Center's Seal of Approval and the Creative Child Seal of Excellence. A variety of age-appropriate games teach concepts like numbers, letters, and shapes for younger children and let older children work on skills like counting, vocabulary, and matching.
These games feature popular characters like Dora the Explorer, Spiderman, Kung Fu Panda, and Scooby Doo, and they include features that range from races to puzzles to sing-alongs. When kids want to play with a friend or a sibling, there's a two-player mode. And a switch on the bottom of the controller lets you ensure that signals aren't being crossed if the second player comes with his or her own controller.
The included "Action Mania" Smartridge means that your child will have six distinct types of games to choose from right away. One option is to engage in a bobsled race where passing through gates requires answering questions related to counting or more advanced topics like understanding greater than and less than. Another option involves using the controller to balance on a ball and select healthy foods, like pineapple, and avoid "unhealthy" snacks, like sweets. The third game is situated on a tennis court and does an especially good job promoting the development of hand eye coordination.
Club VTech lets parents and kids connect online and participate in a family-centered learning community. The included USB V-link device makes it easy to move data from your home computer to your Active Learning System. Web connect features allow for bonus gameplay downloads that keep kids excited about this learning system, and parents have access to educational advice and special promotional offers.
Overall, the whole Vtech experience is designed to promote interaction and healthy lifestyle choices while making learning fun. Our one minor complaint is the fact that the console uses battery power instead of having a wall adapter, which would eliminate the disappointment of batteries dying in the middle of a game. But if you don't have a convenient outlet, or you want to use the same console on several different TVs, this feature can actually be a bonus.
What's in the Box Console, controller, wrist strap, 4 AA batteries, 3 AAA batteries, Smartridge, V-link, and user's manual. 』

(Grandson LOVES these blocks!!) 『My 4 year old grandson, and his parents, were thrilled when he receieved these blocks yesterday. We'd been unable to find colored wooden blocks in any local stores. I was happy to see that the yellow blocks were just as vibrant as the red and blue. In the picture I saw they looked rather pale.
What I wish I'd known prior to purchase is the dimensions of the blocks. They are smaller and thinner than I had anticipated. That being said, their size has not diminished my grandson's enjoyment one iota. He likes to build roads with the blocks and can't wait to build the castle pictured on the box the blocks came in. (As soon as we can find a time when his little sister isn't around to knock it down, that is.)
I do like the variety of shapes as it helps him to learn more about triangles, squares, rectangles, etc. The small size of the blocks is the only thing that detracted from the purchase. Otherwise they earned an A+ from this grandma!』

He loads it up with leaves, toys and such and then dumps it out. He runs behind it at breakneck speed.
This is the best gift a boy could get.』
(Awesome Truck!!!) 『My son has 4 of these. One for inside my house, one for inside his grandparent's and 2 for outside. He has played with them nonstop since he started walking. He started pushing it backards, so he could lean on the handle, when he first started to walk and at three and half he still does. This truck has miles on it. These trucks were to be donated to Toys for Tots (let's be GENEROUS, please) but I'm going to ask someone else to bring these and I'll be buying toys locally to ensure they're made in the good ole US of A. I'd be mortified to be seen with a "MADE IN CHINA" toy when the majority of the children in my area have parents who are now begging for help because their jobs were downsized to other countries... especially China.
Why can't we add another line on Amazon to state where an item is made? Buy American, keep jobs here. And give to Toys for Tots and your local food bank or shelter, please!!!』
(Great toy) 『This is a nice toy that my almost 2 year old son is getting a lot of use out of. It is built reasonably well with plastic and metal. It could probably be a little more rugged (perhaps stronger/thicker plastic) but overall it is quite good. Cute Baby Doll Really Coos and Giggles The adorable baby doll has plastic hands and head and a soft body and legs. She has a sweet face featuring cartoonish, oversized eyes that will delight little girls. Press her tummy to hear a variety of baby sounds. Most of the sounds, including giggling and cooing, are pretty realistic -- although our child tester thought one of them sounded like a cat purring. The sounds are very easy to activate -- perhaps too easy! Beware if you're trying to keep the doll quiet, because there's no "off" switch to prevent accidental noises during your child's nap time.
Feed, Carry, and Rock Baby to Sleep The baby carrier has a lightweight plastic frame and printed fabric cover. The baby doll fits into a snug pouch that's secured with Velcro straps. Like most small children, our child tester is fascinated with real babies, so she immediately took to carrying the baby in her carrier just like the real mothers she's seen.
The carrier can be used basket style, carried on the crook of an arm; it also comes with straps so a child can wear it as a front pack. Fold the carrier down and prop it on its handles to use it as a rocking bassinet, or sit it up on one handle as a feeding chair. The child can feed her with the included toy baby bottle. Finally, the carrier can be folded closed to use as a travel bag. While it's very easy to configure the carrier, younger children will need some assistance in figuring it out.
Plenty of Room for Imagination Although the doll does require batteries, we love that the toy's functionality doesn't dictate or put limitations on the terms of the child's play. Unlike other specialized, battery-operated toys that offer a limited range of functions, this toy offers versatile props that really foster a child's imaginative role playing.
This Baby Alive doll comes with 3 AAA batteries. A Phillips screwdriver required to replace them.
