『we got this at target and thought we'd give it a try. it was a little more than the amazon price (20) but we figured if it dosen't work we can return it anyway. we were surprised it actually works, on both the ipod shuffle and video. and we were able to take the songs recorded (20 some songs) with us to the car and use the FM transmitter to play it. (the fm transmitter was also bought from target, hello kitty style). so we were happy with the software, it works as long as you figure out soe kinks.

Update: this program stopped working because of some update mess ups. Well it was ok while it lasted.』

『This is the worst piece of software that I have ever owned (including shareware/freeware). This is the 2nd product I have purchased by Griffin Technology (the other was the microphone for iPods). They have both been pieces of junk.

This software is buggy, constantly crashed, diificult to add stations to record, etc. Avoid this product.』

Still, the Macmillan Linux Utilities makes sense if you want to quickly acquire a bunch of utilities and evaluate them on your own, rather than spend time reading Linux publications and downloading programs one at a time, based on their recommendations.

Some of the most useful utilities in this collection include php, which interprets the PHP server-side scripting language for Web publishers; pilot-link, which allows you to hot-sync your Palm device with your Linux machine; gRun, which works much like the Windows Run dialog box; and the FileRunner file management utility with FTP capability. Developers will appreciate Alien, a program that allows you to convert Red Hat packages into Debian, Slackware, and Stampede packages (and vice versa); and GNU Octave, a high-level language for doing linear and nonlinear algebra problems. And after you've finished making your system more efficient with all the utilities, you can listen to MP3 tunes with X11amp or kJukeBox.

(Good, but room for improvement)

『This game is average but definitely not the best in tycoon style games.

For example not all the buildings are rotatable and there is only one fixed camera view. There is also a limit to how many workers you can employ and after about 5 days on the in-game clock your buildings start to break down a lot.

However it is nice to see real rides from the parks and you can, if you have the patience, make your parks large and beautiful with the scenery and foliage which is available.』

『The game is okay. You can't rotate all exhibits/shows/food courts/resturants. Also the screen is locked in one position. Its not as fun as I thought it would be. I enjoy collecting tycoon games of all types and this wasn't one of the best. I got from my teacher who said she got it off of amazon for me because she thought I would like it. Indeed, I was excited about this new game. But when I played it, I thought I could make a park just as good on Zoo Tycoon Marine Mania. If you are looking for a good game with sea creatures then I suggest Zoo Tycoon Marine Mania.』

『I collect zoo and animal related sim. games and this is the worst! The lack of freedom is the biggest problem. You can't rotate the map (you have to spend forever trying different things to find this out, as the game comes with very minimal directions), you can't rotate some of the attractions, there are only 3 freeplay maps, all the attractions are pre constructed ( you don't need creativity for this one) and you don't have very many things to choose from. All around, it was a big disappointment. I would give it a zero if I could! The Zoo Tycoon games are way better!』

『I have played many tycoon and simulation games dating back to when Sim City was new, and really the only sim game out there. I have see the rise and fall of maxis as the golden child of sim games. With tycoon being the current tycoon among simulations, a certain quality is expected. SeaWorld tycoon is defiantly one to pass up.

While I have loved many simulation games, even some of the very obscure titles, SeaWorld was just plane bad.

The ever-increasing quality in graphics has been an enjoyable treat with the entire simulation genre; it is not what makes these games fun and enjoyable. And sadly the only thing I cannot fault this game on it graphics. They were what one would expect. However the usability and ability to customize were not there. In fact the only thing I discovered in my attempts to play this game was an over whelming sense of frustration. Frustration that I had actually bought this game, Frustration over what seemed to be either poor programming or fatal bugs that rendered this game worthy of only the trash heap.

Do yourself a favor, pass this game up, instead play any old game you have. You will get a lot more enjoyment out of that, then you ever will out of this game.
