I like the scent of the product, and my hair looks pretty good afterwards, so all in all, it's expensive, but seems to do the job. Unknown on the prevention of slowing of hair loss. IPhone 3G used's review (Perfect color and perfect texture) 『I have very sensitive skin and lips and this product doesn't irritate them at all. It moisturizes them a little, not drying. The color is perfect too. It is a little brighter than my own lips (I am fair) with a tiny bit of sparkle. I've been wearing it every day and I've gotten lots of complements. I don't need any liner with it or gloss.』
(Very Flattering Lipstick) 『I love Laura Mercier make-up and prefer the convenience of buying it on-line when I don't need to test the colors. I've been wearing this Purple Haze color for several years and I have several of them - in my purse, desk drawer, car, etc. The thing I like best about this color and formulation is that it's more like a tinted lip balm in that I can apply it without a mirror. Very convenient.』
(Great color pay-off, great moisturizing capabilities but minus one star for being perfumed....) 『My lips tend to dry out easily and thus I was on the prowl for a nice, moisturizing lip-stick. I found what I was looking for in these!
PRICE: These are $20 for .12 ounces of product. That's definitely on the expensive side given how little product you get but I have yet to find a similar product on the market.
PACKAGING: These come in Laura Mercier's signature brown sparkly packaging. The gloss itself is in lipstick tube form.
FEEL: These feel extremely light on your lips. They provide a decent amount of shine/sheen but they don't make your lips look wet like many glosses do. They are silky and smooth and, in my opinion, are like a very heavily tinted lip-balm. These do not dry out my lips the way many lipsticks do.
COLOR: These are pretty highly pigmented for something billed as a gloss. They can last for up to 4 hours..depending on whether you've had anything to drink or you lick your lips often. I own Brown Sugar, Purple Haze and Rosewater. Brown Sugar is a neutral peachy/pinky/brown color and I think would be good for women with medium complexions and yellow undertones (I am fair-skinned and this comes out a little too brown on me). Purple Haze is a blue-based soft plum with subtle silver sparkles and Rosewater is a bright strawberry pink that is good for Spring and Summer.
COMPLAINTS: My only complaint is that these are perfumed- which is why I took off one star. I would liken the scent to a flowery-pineapple...I know that sounds strange but I sniffed a few times and that is what it smells like to me! It's not offensive by any means but it IS noticeable and you can taste it.
ARE THESE WORTH IT? I think so. Despite not liking the fact that these are heavily perfumed, I would buy again if I saw a color that really interested me.』

The stick gloss rates a ten and all A's from me. What's not to like about a lip treatment that soothes, smooths, plus adds color and fullness? Stick gloss is a combination of lip balm, lip color, and lip glaze - a three in one winner.
My favorite colors are Peony, a deep rose, and Poppy, a festive crimson. When applied each color is much sheerer than the tube color indicates. For instance, the Peony appears to be a burgundy tone yet on the lips it is a lovely rose.

IPhone 3G used's review (Bastille My Heart; Louvre Me, Louvre Me Not;&Crepes Suzi-Ette for Me) 『This collection has some interesting neutrals and deep colors. As I am drawn to reds (rather than grays, lilacs, oranges, browns, etc), I immediately headed for BASTILLE MY HEART. I've got it on my toes this second.
It's a very deep cool red color--deep dark claret, some call it. If you're familiar with the popular, classic Bogota Blackberry OPI shade, it's like that one, but without the shimmer/glimmer aspect. This is a creme formula--no shiny flecks or frost. Very nice. An elegant deep color that traditionalists can wear and that is faboo for fall.
If you're a purple enthusiast, Louvre Me, Louvre Me Not is a deep, bright, intense purple that should please you.
Crepes Suzi-ette is a more "mommie" color--wearable by regular folks not looking to stun with Goth or non-traditional shades. It's a warm reddish caramel color that would look lovely on women with fair to medium tones and some darker tones (though not all). A ladylike color with some flair.
I've heard raves about the very dark "Eiffel For This Color" and Goth Gals I know are nuts for "We'll Always Have Paris." If superdark-dense colors do it for you, you should check those out.
If you're quite fair of skin tone, you should look into Baguette Me Not, which is a very, very, very pretty salmon color. I'm too dark to carry it off, but I love how it looks on fairer gals. Elegant and serene.
Fairer gals should also take a seriously look at the "grey-tone" neutrals. While I'd look like a corpse in them, I've seen fair women looking insanely elegant in some of the France collection gray-neutrals-nudes.
