Finally I went to an Ulta store and looked at the stuff in person. I have tried a lot of brands, and love the quick-dry formulas. I decided to try Tickle My Francee, a sort of pinkish-beigey nude that looks a bit more gray in the bottle, and love it. It applied so well, and the color turned out to be a beautiful pinky-beige shade, a nice nude against my light yellow-based skin. It dried fast and two coats have held up very nicely for several days (with no topcoat and some gardening and housekeeping duties in between). When I walked into Sephora looking for a natural color, a lady helped me pick out the blush/bronzer duo in Orgasm and Laguna. It looked perfect on my skin. Very subtle, and with a very subtle glittery effect on my face. The bronzer also helped accentuate my jawbone and make my face look deeper. It is definitely flattering on any skin shade!』
(TAOS: A Winner!) 『I got a gift certificate to Sephora for $25 and wanted to use it on something I would normally not buy (which is hard to do in Sephora because I want to buy EVERYTHING!!) Anyway....I wanted to try NARS blush, but didn't know which one to pick. I told the salesperson I was trying to streamline my makeup routine, wanted to look natural, but polished. I told her I only want to use mascara, blush, and gloss for my day look and asked her to pick out a natural looking blush. She picked Taos and brushed it on my cheeks....I was running late and had to get back to work, so I got it and left. This morning I used my regular blush brush and immediately had to wipe the blush off--way too much pigment. After removing some, I got the wonderful, natural, blush look I was going for. The blush pulled my face together and even though I was wearing less make-up, I looked polished and professional. Will definately recommend and repurchase!』
(Fabulous high quality, beautifully pigmented blushes THAT LAST!) 『These are so exquisitely milled and pigmented that it's not irritating to my sensitive skin. I also only need a very little to make my cheeks pop, so it lasts and lasts.
ORGASM may be the holy grail of blusher for many fairer women, but I'm an NC44 Latina (med-dark olive tone) and that color would not make a showing on me. I did find that two colors have become my staple blushes.
For warm-tone days, I use EXHIBIT A, a matte blush that is scary in the pan (so brightly orange-red) that most women would think "Bozo the Clown". No, it works beautifully on my tone, brightening me (we olive toned women can look sallow and blah without a color pop). Fabulous.
For cool days (and by cool I'm talking my color choices for clothes and lipstick, not weather), I like MATA HARI. It's a matte cool pink tone that is deep enough to show on my cheeks and give me a look that says "Healthful" or "just went for a quick jog and has blood circulating well". Nice.
I plan to try CRAZED and TAOS, which seem to be shimmery cousins to my two faves (ie, one is warmer, one is cooler).
I think the thing is to head to a store like Sephora and just try the shades. With the array of beautiful colors, you will find a couple or more colors that make you feel and look great.
NOTE: You really need a quality brush to get just enough pigment and deposit not too much pigment. That's my recommendation. These blushes do not come with little cheapo rough brushes like so many do. No, get a good blush brush--a MAC one, or a Sephora, etc. I use the MAC duo-fiber brush, smaller one, and it works very well with these strong shades.
Yes, pricey. But I've gone through so many disappointing blushes in drugstore brands and even from some name brands, that it's a relief to find blushers that WORK for me and make me happy and don't make me itch!

Previously, I'd had Brunet Henna color in my hair, and after that washed out, I dyed it Red and the color came out rich and really nice. It also stayed in a little longer than any other brand I'd tried, and the plus is it did NOT dry out my hair, like so many other cheaper brands have done. I do wish the price wasn't as steep, but it did a great job of coloring my hair.
*If you have any previous colors in your hair, and decide to go blond before you strip your hair OF the left over color, you might end up with a very messed up result. Consult someone from a salon if that's the case, don't blame it on the product.』
(Pictures are all wrong) 『I tried this on my normally light/medium golden blonde hair. I had darkish roots showing and I thought I would give this a try versus going to the salon. I used 9W Light Golden Blonde/Carla. Well, first of all the photos on the boxes are all wonky. The color descriptions and titles look nothing like the hair color of the models in the photos. "Carla"'s hair is not anywhere near 'light golden blonde' Her hair is brown, light brown possibly, but definitly brown. So do you go by the picture or the name? I went by the name and chose 9W. It did a fine job lightening my roots and overall gave me a lovely DARKISH golden blonde color. Darkish blonde is fine in the winter so I was okay with it, but if you need hair color with a lot of 'lift' don't use this. Choose a color close to your natural color as this won't lighten hair very much at all.
It was very easy on my hair, not too drying or damaging, and I liked the brush application system. I also liked that you get a lot of color with this system, since I have long hair and need a lot to do my whole head. The color is very pretty tho not 'light' it is still a very pretty shade of golden blonde.
I would recommend it for anyone who isn't trying to lighten their hair color by more than a shade and I think the colors are a bit darker than they are described. Forget using the pictures to go by as they are all wrong. It gives you soft believable color if you can choose the right one.』

IPhone 3G used's review (my assessment based on comparison shopping) 『I agree with the previous remarks on the Auburn color being too dark. Since I like to play up the green in my hazel eyes, I went on a day-long mission to find the ultimate purple mascara. This Sephora item did not make the cut.
For me, the "ultimate" purple is not a shade that screams, "PURPLE!" (like neon purple), but also is not too dark, in which case the mission would be wasted; the color wouldn't appear any different than black mascara! Unfortunately, the Sephora brand Auburn color tended toward the latter, too dark.
I'd estimate that I looked at over 20 purple mascaras, which is one of the bonuses of shopping at a physical Sephora store (so many comparable products under one roof). This one wasn't a winner, so I can't comment on the product's consistency, durability on eyes, or shelf life. I think I wound up springing the many extra bucks on Clarins Wonder Volume Mascara in Violet #03, at>$20. :-\ I love it, but the price is too high to make it anything but a splurge.』

I liked the squeezable "tube" because I figured it would be helpful when I wanted to get every last bit of the product out of the bottom. However, I can't imagine I'll ever be that desperate to get to the stuff.
It looks nice and purple on the wand, but once I put it on my lashes (even if I apply it over black mascara) it dries to...pretty much nothing. No color. So yeah, in that way, I suppose it's appropriate for everyday wear, since the only way I can see even the teeny-tiniest bit of the color is if I'm right up against the mirror (you know, when I'm trying to figure out if I actually applied it or if I was just dreaming).
Also, it makes my lashes stiff and, for lack of a better word, "crunchy"...which inevitably leads to it cracking and flaking off.
I really had high hopes for this because I was looking for a fun, colored mascara. This was not it. I'll be trying NYX Cosmetics colored mascaras next. They have 16 different colors !』

I do really like it and it's not going gluggy any time soon, but I mainly bought the green and violet purely because they are green and violet. Not many other make-up companies make colored mascaras like these. You have to be a bit adventurous to wear them, but they do look good on with the right color clothes and other make-up. Sephora's products are similar to other brands out there, but they make an effort to improve upon them (and they are less expensive). I'm impressed that these colors are out there and based on my experience with these two, I'm happily about to buy some more in other shades when I'm back in America in October. I have had these for a couple of months now and they aren't anywhere near dry so that's a big plus for me. I am very happy with Sephora and I hope they keep making these.』

I tried the 'Smashbox Brunette Brow Tech', which is supposed be for dark haired brunettes, but it leaves your brows with a slight dark auburn tint. Which is very obvious might I add. I was always curious about the 'Bare Escentuals Essential Brunette Brow Color' so I decided to give it a try. This by far is the most natural looking brow color without looking harsh and overdone. So if you have dark brown/black hair then this is the product for you.
What's good is that all you need to use is very little product. The container is very small, but don't let that deter you, this will last you awhile. The best thing is that there is a sifter so when you open it, it will not spill every where. This must be new because from reading previous reviewers mentioned about there being no sifter and the fact it spilled every where. Well I am glad to tell you that this is now no longer the case. My best advice is if could find a store that sells Bare Escentuals go test it out. In that way it ensures that you will find the best color for you. This is a must have, I just can't rave enough about it!』
(Finally a brow filler for redheads!!!) 『The auburn color perfectly filled my brows. Never in my life have I found a color that did this. I usually was stuck with have no eye brow filler or to brown a color that made it look so fake. I felt it gave a very natural softness that you just can't get with a pencil.
My only complaint was it is slightly messy when you open it. There is no shaker top and the product is packed to the top of the jar. So you do great value for your dollar but I did wind up with a little spilled mess the first time I opened it. Just be warned!』
