(My Two Cents) 『I am on my 2nd pot of Nars Lip Lacquer in Eros. I thought about buying a different color but I love Eros so much I decided not to. I have pretty fair skin, and Eros works really well with it, not too pinky, not too red, kind of a sheer berry. I imagine it would look good on other skin tones too though. I was surprised when I read the reviews on here about a funny smell. The truth is I never noticed any kind of unusual smell with the lip lacquer. Anyway, this is pretty much all I wear on my lips now, although maybe someday I'll force myself to try another color, ;)』
(Overrated, I think, and it smells horrible) 『I kept hearing about how great this lip lacquer was that I researched and researched (makeup alley, other sites) and finally sprang the 23 bucks for Chelsea Girls.
Despite the fact that some Latina girls said it was okay for medium olive skin, it is NOT. It is way too pale for what I would call medium Latin skin tone. Made me look bloodless.
The color might be fine for a much fairer olive tone, though.
I didn't find that the texture was pleasant, and the smell is positively offputting. I don't expect lip gloss to smell like a field of flowers or bubble gum, but I do expect something that goes ON MY MOUTH and will get IN MY MOUTH, inevitably, to have some sort of appealing smell/taste. This was just chemically and nasty. Your significant other will be quite put off by this smell, I would imagine. Or anyone else that you'd want close to your lips.
Also, if you have long hair that hangs anywhere near your face, it will stick like glue to this product. Wear your hair smoothed a bit away from your lower face, or expect goo on your strands.
Not impressed, but am willing to try other NARS products, just hope they all don't smell like this.
UPDATE: I caved and bought this again in "Diablo." The smell this time wasn't as offensive--more neutral, not bothersome. Did they change the formula? The color is rich and gorgeous--a red that got touched with wine, deep and pretty, and very flattering to medium-dark olive toned skin (ie, mine). I'd buy "Diablo" lacquer again, and I would consider another color. Still not my fave gloss (I prefer MAC's lipglasses), but I thought I should mention a positive experience with a different color. 』
(all good but the scent..) 『I like the Nars line of makeup and really like these lip lacquers. I have Chelsea Girls and its a great nude color and great for daytime or for wearing with smoky eyes. The only downfall is the scent like the other reviewer said. It has a wierd smell to it, once you get past that, its great!』
(Believe the Hype!!!!!) 『This stuff is great!!! I read all kinds of reviews for NARS and everyone seemed so happy with what they bought so I figured I'd try it. I bought Eros and Capucine. I absolutely love Capucine!!! It looks so bright in the container but when you put it on it's the most gorgeous sheer coral. Eros is sheer rasberry sparkle, not too pink, very sexy. I have olive tone skin so they are perfect for my color. Love em'!!!!!』

IPhone 3G used's review (Fuschia - one hot color!) 『Usually when it comes to Stila I only use their eye shadows - the other stuff is overpriced, but I wanted to try the convertible color for a while now and I am glad I finally got one. I purchased the Fuschia compact and yes it looks absolutely wild when one looks at it, but smoothed on lips or cheeks it's a lovely cool pink, a bit on the purple side. It seems to work well with my light coloring and I love to use it as blush although it's a tiny bit sticky and initially rubbing it in take a little bit of skill.
On the lips I like to dab some on after I pat them with some foundation, so the pink really pops and then I add a coat of clear gloss. Little goes a long way or one can appear to have been sucking on a raspberry bush all day...
I wish it was longer lasting, it doesn't stay on all day but it's easy to add a few layers, they build up nicely and touchups through the day are relatively easy. Today for example I have been wearing it on my cheeks since 8;20 am and 8 hours later the color is paler but still appears fresh. I love how the compact looks, it's different than on the picture here on Amazon, mine is a hot pink metal all over but it's still small and slim with a mirror inside so a separate mirror is not needed.
I am tempted to try the other colors since I am enjoying this one so much!

(love it!) 『I absolutely adore this. I bought it at my local Sephora in fuchsia and was enamored with the beautiful, bright pink shade. The color looks obnoxious, but as a lipgloss it's a really gorgeous hot pink. I think it's a great pick for those of us with an edgier style-- I love using it lightly as a blush for a rosy glow, or wearing it as a lip color and going light on my other makeup for a dramatic effect. My favorite part is how long-lasting it is! One or two touch-ups and you're set for the day. I'll definitely buy again!』
(LOVE this - Best cream blush I've found) 『I already had three cream blushes in my drawer, none of which were easy to blend, and the colors were never quite right. I tried this (expecting to be dissappointed)and LOVE it. Out with the Maybelline mousse, L'Oreal HIP, and Clinique. I use cream on days when I'm not wearing a lot of makeup. Maybe some tinted moisturizer where needed and cream blush. I'm fair skin brunette and got Petunia. It looks dark in the compact but goes on sheer and creamy in a peachy pink. Start lightly at first and layer more if you need more color. Be sure to feather the edges well with your finger or sponge dampened with a dab of moisturizer.』
(Great for Nude LipS) 『I have this in Poeny, and it's the perfect color for the "Nude" face look just by tapping a little amount on your lips. It really brings out your eyes since your face would be flushed in the same color (kinda like Heather Graham at one award show, I'm not sure which one it is). I also wear it to work for the sophisticated look. It's a total keeper... the downside about it is that it doesnt stay on your lips for the whole day, you still need to reapply it twice or so a day. i'm looking forward for the Duo-Pack』
(the only blush I use!) 『I first bought this a year ago because I thought the color, Gerbera, was so pretty. After I bought it, I thought I made a stupid mistake because it felt sticky and I thought it would be too heavy and greasy for my skin.
But I tried it anyway, and was very pleasantly surprised. It doesn't feel at all heavy or greasy when on my face. The color is beautiful and is buildable. Gerbera gives a nice, flushed look. It seems to last a long time, also.
I've tried it on my lips - but I think it's best as a blush. The color is only good for summer, and then I have to go through a process of putting lip primer on first and then clear gloss over top to get a look I like. (That's too complicated for me, I just like to swipe and go.)
I live in the Czech Republic, and it's not available here. When I visit my parents in the States in May, I'll be stocking up and maybe trying another color as well. I tried using my old powder blush again, and I almost immediately wiped it off and went back to this blush.』

My go to blush is Benefit Dandelion, which looks perfect on me, but this color just doesn't show up. I mix it sometimes with my face powder to add a bit of glow, buts that's about all it does. Love Benefits products, but waaay too expensive! Luckily my blush lasts at least a year, so I put up with it ;)』
