(Sunshine in a Box!) 『Dallas really looks soooo natural, like I've been out in the sun for a bit. I have fair skin and bronzers have always been out of the question for me. This product really is like a blusher/bronzer combo though. I use a fat powder brush and apply to my cheeks, a bit to my eyelids, and a dab to my chin - everywhere the sun would ordinarily hit on my face. I love Dallas! It has made makeup so much easier and natural looking. I like that the tone is natural, although I do recommend tossing the brush that comes with it and investing in a fluffy blush brush for application. I just tap off the excess powder back into the box and layer for just the effect I'm looking for. Although the price is a bit steep, the boxes last a really long time.』

It's naturally some kind of mixture between curly and wavy, varying throughout my head, but I almost always flat-iron it. As a result of all of these processes, my thick hair has become wiry, a little bit nappy, and very dry, and every time I try to "fix" it with some new product, I wind up with an oily mess on my head. I was very skeptical about this product, but eventually, I bit the bullet out of desperation and ordered it from Sephora. One day, I came home to find that this had arrived, so I dribbled a little bit into my hands and worked it through my hair. Almost like magic, my gross hair had become the soft kind of Pantene-commercial shiny -- it wasn't the least bit greasy. Now, I'll never go back. If you want smooth-as-butter, perfectly shiny hair, this is for you. $20 actually seems underpriced for the reaction this produces -- you won't be disappointed.』

Second, it does not plump the limps, or make them look fuller, if you want this effect, get thee to you nearest plastic surgeon. (The only lip plumper that plumps my lips, but takes patience.) 『Love ya! Is hot pink with a very 80's frost. Hey Sailor is purple and more dark, but with some frost too. Yoo Hoo is a sort of mix of the two, but not bright like Love ya. I'd say it's more mocha/muave. The color selection is strange, hardly what I would consider neuteral, but I own all three and will purchase the Yoo Hoo again soon. Mainly because, after using it every day (all by itself, even considering the fact it didn't stay on my lips any longer than a regular lipstick and I did not like the colors) for a month or two, my lips were fuller. Now I use it very occasionally, like overnight sometimes, but my lips stay fuller into the next day, regardless of what product I use on them during the day. I've used Lip Fusion, Du Wop, Too Faced lip injection, Urban Decay etc. And none of those worked like this one. This one takes time to work, does not sting, and unlike many plumpers, the effect lasts even when the product has been worn off my lips. I'd give it 5 stars but the color selection is not very flattering on me. If they would make a frosty beige or gold I would be very pleased.』

Unless you're into "Teenybopper Hot Pink", wch I'm definitely not, I wld advise against trusting the color swatches.(Just for reference, I happen to be very fair complected w/blonde hair but, imo, I don't think "Hot Pink" w/b flattering to any skin or hair color.)
Talk abt an expensive mistake, as far as my color selection only. However, I'm still going to use it by mixing it w/another lipstick. Had the color matched the swatch, I would have rated this product 5 stars, w/o a doubt.
On the plus side, I absolutely love the smooth and creamy application and the plumping factor. (Since I already have naturally full and puffy lips, it wasn't as big of a deal for me but I definitely did notice some plumping.)
I'm going to try my luck w/another shade, wch I wldn't do if I didn't absolutely love this product! Wish me luck and I hope this review w/b helpful to someone. :) Trisha
