(MOST COMPREHENDIBLE KJV IN THE WORLD!!) 『Way to go when you want to know the KJV Bible. I first bought this DVD in "2005" and started from Genesis and did not skip a page and was able to stay with it all the way to Revelation. Though I still don't understand the entire bible , I comprehend over 85%more than when I was just reading the paper/hand bible. Well, a few months ago it was damaged in transit and I had to skip the effected books and chapters on the disc and read those books from my regular hand Bible. Not only was my enthusiasm diminished; comprehension decreased, and anxiety surfaced in me. The energy and excitement of this video is phenominal...Minister Tye covers several music genres with his songs......and he does take it to church also. His guests include Kierre Sheard(Kiki),Kim Burrell, Judith Christie McAllister and Jon Owens. What is different is the audience's response;at times they are still and observant. Perhaps it can be attributed to the songs being unfamiliar to them or not wanting to miss what's going on onstage. Some of the music has a rock/metal flava to it and I think it took some by suprise.....eventually they get with it. Soooo much info is given in this dvd. You get an interview with Shante (wifey),Sound Check (band). In addition, you get to hear commentary by Tye,Thaddaeus and others;they are so crazy!!! Questions are also answered on the dvd concerning G.A.,SoundCheck,music content,song inspiration....just everything you might want to know about Tye&G.A. You really get a glimpse into his personality. I commend him for giving so much of himself and his family (and all for $14.98:) You gotta add this dvd to your collection along with the previous "Victory" dvd if you don't already have it. You shouldn't soon tire of hearing Tye Tribbett and seeing him 'cause he's so versatile and always keeps it fresh. He mentioned in the dvd that he can't give us everything at once because it would probably scare us; so stay tuned for more. I also note that musicians will definetely appreciate hearing the testimonies of how his band members eventually forsook playing secular engagements and how music inspiration from the HOLY SPIRIT far exceeds other musical influences one may think is relative.』

I like "quickly now quickly","dare me", and "slumber" with great vocals from the prince. I also like how the fairys do a slow motion ballet dance to the sleeping beauty waltz. I'd reccomend this but you should see the disney version first.』

The story is told pretty much as we all remember, but with a few new touches. A childless King and Queen are given a magical potion by a kindly elf. When the lovely Princess Rosebud is born, all the fairies are invited to bestow gifts upon the child. However, due to a miscounting of the golden dinner plates, the fearsome Red Fairy is left off the guest-list. Enraged, she gatecrashes the event and curses Rosebud to a premature death from the prick of a spindle. The wise White Fairy remedies the curse by changing the death to sleep, and the awakening of Rosebud with the kiss of true love. In the meanwhile, all spindles are banned from the kingdom.
In the passing years, with all the clothes in the kingdom dissolved to rags because of the absence of spindles and sewing-needles, the King and Queen travel to the far reaches and bring back reams of fabrics. During their absence, the Red Fairy sees the perfect opportunity to see her curse come true...
Morgan Fairchild, Tahnee Welch, Jane Weidlin and Sylvia Miles all offer fine performances in this adaptation of the oft-told fairytale. There is a certain campy charm about the Cannon MovieTales series, which were filmed rather economically in Israel (and you'll notice that many of the films have the same sets). The score isn't terribly complex but is enjoyable and features "Spin Spin Spin", "Life is Rosier Today" and "Slumber". Even Tchaikovsky's famed score is used for the christening scene.

I looked for it for many years before finding it on Amazon. Although we have to be satisfied with a VHS version, we were both thrilled to sit together and watch it again after all of these years. It a charming, timeless story with a wonderful message of kindness and generosity. The "Holiday Treasure" should be a must see movie for all families. Thanks to Amazon, we were able to enjoy it again!』
(Have the tape - want the DVD ... please!) 『FINALLY... The House Without A Christmas Tree is available on DVD. I'm very happy to have one on order. I might order a few more to show to my little grandsons someday. My all-time favorite though is "A Thanksgiving/Holiday Treasure". I searched for YEARS under "The Thanksgiving Treasure" and SOMEHOW found the title had changed. I questioned my memory but was relieved to read that the title had been changed. Don't do this to our aging minds! This Thanksgiving movie is something that should be shown on TV EVERY YEAR to sensitize the younger generation to the elderly. We need a lot more of these movies on the kids' channels - a LOT more. My girls enjoyed these types of movies in the 70's and now that they are becoming mothers, are reminicsing about them. These two movies are (as one reviewer described) a window into the past. I feel as though I am in my grandmother's house everytime I watch them!』
(Atmospheric Period Piece About the Real Meaning of Thanksgiving) 『In this sequel to THE HOUSE WITHOUT A CHRISTMAS TREE, it is 1947 and heroine Addie Mills, who is being raised by her widower father and his mother, befriends a horse while she is out collecting items for an autumn bouquet for her teacher. Unfortunately, the horse belongs to a crusty old codger named Walter Rhenquist, who hates Addie's dad because a pond James Mills dug for him leaked (James had warned him it was a bad place to put a pond, but he wouldn't listen). When Addie's teacher tells the class a story about the Pilgrims befriending the Indians, she decides to befriend her dad's enemy by bringing him Thanksgiving dinner. A new friendship is the surprising result.
This is a slow-moving but wonderfully nostalgic story that looks so authentic you would swear you were peeking into a window at 1947. The children's radio play is so true to the period! The cinematography is also wonderful and Arthur Rubenstein's score complements the action perfectly. Lisa Lucas, Jason Robards, Mildred Natwick and Barnard Hughes as Rhenquist are all splendid.
Note: On television this story was called THE THANKSGIVING TREASURE. CBS changed the title so they could sell it with the Christmas videos.』
(Lovely Nostalgic Piece) 『I adore the Addie Mills specials and wish they would be shown on television again after all these years. These wholesome programs stand the test of time and are so warm, poignant, and worthwhile. The Holiday Treasure is one of the best Thanksgiving specials I've ever seen and am pleased to now own a copy, along with the other two Addie Mills television programs. The ensemble is phenomenal and the storyline very touching. It just doesn't get much better than this. Television programmers, are you reading this???』

(Seems to be working) 『I purchased two of these from Woot.com (about $50 for the pair). The first few days after having them out, I had lots of little mosquito parts in the drawer (difficult to determine an exact number due to the fan cutting them up). In my area of the country (S. Carolina), we have a lot of Asian Tiger Mosquitoes that don't bother waiting until the evening to fly by and have a sip of blood. They are out all day. As I mentioned before, I had some good results initially but the last few weeks I haven't seen much beyond moths, sweat bees, yellow jackets, and the occasional mosquito. I think this is a good thing as there is a noticeable population reduction and I consider the collateral damage to also be pests.
I also own a Mosquito Magnet. It was very effective at catching and reducing the population when I lived in MN, but not so much on the mosquitoes in the South. I ran it for a couple of months in SC without a whole lot of luck (maybe 40-50 mosquitoes per month using the Lurex attractant).
I'm giving Rush four stars because one of my units burned out after a couple of days and I had to open it up and solder in a new LED (available at Radio Shack). Other than that, no complaints.』
(It's made life around the house MUCH nicer!) 『I bought two of these from woot.com for a total of $55 with shipping and everything some weeks back. I live in SW Florida where there are many mosquitoes, and I would have them buzzing in my ear at night. Since I've put the two of them up for a few weeks now, I've had virtually NO mosquitoes in or around my house.
It works by interrupting the mosquito life cycle. As it captures the adults, they cannot then mate or lay eggs. It doesn't work overnight, and it's not meant to. After all of the eggs in your area hatch and are depleted, there are no mosquitoes around to lay new eggs, and the impact is very noticeable.』
(Jury is still out) 『"Mosquito Catcher" as a name was an extremely bad marketing move. Your expectations are a drawer full of dead mosquitos. After watching the DVD that came with the machine, one realizes that this device does not really "catch" mosquitos, but instead grinds them up in the fan that is used to suck them in. The bits that are left fall to the ground. So to judge the effectiveness based on what's in the compartment isn't really fair.
I'm still not sure if this works. Instructions are to run for a month to fully disrupt the breeding cycle. I'll have to wait and see if the insects are less prevalent in a few weeks.』
(Pathetic) 『I've been running this machine for three weeks non-stop as the directions require. I live in Northern NJ where we've had a horrible mosquito season. I've caught noting but little white moths and a few flies.
