IPhone 3G used's review (The longest lasting best scented markers in the world!) 『I love Mr. Sketch markers. I bought a pack for my children a few years ago and they lasted for so long. It's amazing how much color they pack into each fun scented marker. I just bought a new pack for my daughter and they were just as good as the ones purchased 3 years ago. My kids are excellent about taking good care of the markers. They put the caps back on after use, and then I put them away in a cabinet until the next use, unlike the cheaper brands of markers. All the scents are wonderful (well, except for licorice!). My only complaint is that years ago these used to come in a styrofoam-like container with a sliding cover. I really prefer that to the box because after so much use the box wears out despite taping and retaping every couple of months.』 『MR SKETCH SCENTED MARKER SET WITH TRAY 12 COLER CHISEL TIP』
IPhone 3G used's review (Great entertainment) 『This DVD has it all--great music, high energy performances, after viewind it one realizes why Springsteen is such an icon, he has earned the title! The bond he shares with the E Street Band is evident in this show, they work so well together blending music with humor and the joy of just being together! I was very pleased by this DVD, its just a rockin' good time for all.』
(The Boss: how it's done) 『There are probably a dozen reviews here already that are small essays, but the bottom line is that nobody does a concert like Bruce. (And yes, I'm a big U2 fan.) Even if you own every studio album the man did, you need this one. An astonishing performance, and the Boss live is always at his best. I expected something less, because the guy's 50 years old here, but I was wrong wrong wrong.
If there is anything to complain about -- and I'm really reaching here -- it might be that a full concert, in sequence, could have fit on two DVDs. The editing here is excellent, but you've got to figure Bruce has some logic behind his set list, and second guessing probably doesn't improve it. Also, I thought a couple of tracks from Disc 2 were hardly the stuff to relegate to the "bonus" disc.
But, mostly I'm just glad we have this document of the greatest rock performer of a generation.
』
(Bruce and the Band: Always Great) 『Excellent effort overall. The main set is 3 stars, with some sound problems and a sense of disengagement. The extra material, about 11 tunes, is top notch, not to be missed 5 star stuff. The semi-acoustic "Born in the USA" is haunting, and dispells any myth as to what the song is really about. Well worth a purchase. The Boss and the E Street Band in concert are always a treat.』
(Truely the BEST of Springsteen and E-Street Band) 『If you're a big fan of Springsteen with his infamous E-Street Band this truely is the BEST DVD concert you could ask for. I loved every minute of it and will watch it many times over. Certainly well worth every penny and far cheaper than the hundreds of dollars you'd pay for a concert ticket. I never get tired of watching Clarence Clemens blast out that saxophone. A must have for any Springsteen music collection. So much cooler to watch them performing rather than just listening to the music. Over 3 hours of non-stop music.』
(Why YOU need to own this dvd...) 『If you want to see what a rock legend looks like, it is imperative that you watch this, possibly more than once.
A true rock legend is someone who actually transcends the genre. This DVD captures a man in his element, in his time, doing what he was put on this earth to do, without shame and without remorse. To put it simply, he plays and sings every note as if it were his last. He seizes the day and lays bare his passions. This is more than a rock concert, it is a lesson on how to live your life.
I'm not your typical gushing fan. I'm not going to say "All Hail Bruce Spingsteen, he's my hero!". Frankly, I don't know the man and I don't believe in hero-worship. But what I do know is that he understands his job and he does it very, very well. He knows how to touch people, how to lift their spirits and get them to aspire to something better. He speaks from his heart. His show is, in many ways, a religious experience-with ONE IMPORTANT DISTINCTION. It is all-inclusive. It's all there for the asking. You don't have to be a certain type of person, or subscribe to a particular set of beliefs in order to be a part of this. All you have to do is say "Yes, my heart is open. I want to be happy.". And, of course, you have to buy a ticket. There's no mission without margin, after all.
Bruce transcends the rock 'n' roll genre because he refuses to be defined by it. He acknowledges that he is an entertainer, but yet he continues to approach his work in earnest, with a certain reverence that makes it more important than what it otherwise would be. He understands that, above all, music is a means of communication. It is a way to connect with your fellow man and find common ground. He's not isolating himself from the audience. He's not talking about things that others can't understand. He's not trying to be vague and inscrutable. He's an idealist, a humanist, and he is using his medium to push us all to higher ground.
This DVD is about the church of the common man. And I say "Amen, my brothers and sisters. Throw off your shackles and be free!!!". Sing it loud and sing it proud Bruce. This DVD is what rock 'n' roll was meant to be. It's emotional, it's raw, it's honest. After watching this show I can honestly say that there is a force in the universe that moves us from within, and one of it's manifestations is Bruce Springsteen and his E Street Band. The only question that remains is "Will you testify?".』 『There's only one better way to experience these performances by Bruce Springsteen and his reunited E Street Band, and that's if you were actually in Madison Square Garden when they were recorded in June and July 2000. This two-disc set includes more than three hours of music. Disc One features the 14 songs that were aired by HBO in 2001, while Disc Two adds another 11 tunes released here for the first time. The Boss and his band are in top form; their sheer exuberance at playing together, not to mention the joy and inspiration they provide their audience, are palpable, thanks in no small part to the excellent direction and superb sound (Dolby Digital 5.1 or PCM stereo). Highlights? Almost everything, from timeless anthems like "Born to Run" and "Thunder Road" to the riveting "American Skin (41 Shots)" and a bluesy, solo "Born in the U.S.A." Usually ships in 24 hours IPhone 3G used's review (Incredible Performance by Reed and His Band) 『I've always had a sort of take it or leve it attitude towards Lou Reed's music. I could appreciate it but would not go out of my way to listen or find it. Much of that attitude has changed since I've seen Julian Schnabel's Berlin. I have now joined the initiated and feel that the music when properly presented is terrific.
Filmed over five nights at St. Ann's Warehouse in New York, Reed performs in its entirety his failed 1973 concept album Berlin. Berlin presents a 10 song cycle that attempts to tell the story of a couple living in 1970's Berlin before the wall came down. Caroline is a speed freak party girl who spirals out of control and eventually loses her children and commits suicide by slashing her wrists. Jim is left to pick up the pieces and try to figure out her motivation if any.
When released in 1973 the album came across as a gloomy concept work that did not have the commercial success that Reed felt it should. He shunned the material and did not perform it live for 33 years. The december 2006 concers which mke up the film presents the music as it should be heard. Reed's delivery is raw and emotional. The band led by guitarist Steve Hunter is spot on and there has been added the Brooklyn Youth Choir and a horn section to the mix.
The concert plays against a backdrop of films of Caroline's life shot by Schnabel's daughter Lola that add to the mood in a fuzzy out of focus sort of way. This is not happy material and it is not presented as such. It is emotional and raw.
The concert ends with a three song encore featuring Candy Says, Rock Minuet and Sweet Jane.
This is one of the best concert films that I have seen in years and easily ranks with such films as Scorsese's Last Waltz. Do yourself a favor and see this one and experience the music as it should be seen and heard.』
(How To Improve A Masterpiece) 『Saw the DVD last night. Very short review: 5 stars out of 5. I can't think of ANY other rocker in their mid 60's interpreting their early material from 1973 with this sort of INTEGRITY, power, musicianship, musicality&emotion.
This is MILES beyond anything the Stones, Who, Led Zeppelin, Cream, Deep Purple, Aerosmith, etc have done in the last 20 years.
The only artists I know who come CLOSE to making their early 70's material relevant like this in new performance are Bruce Cockburn&Bowie's 90's work with Reeves Gabrels, neither of whom pulled it off like Reed does here.
Doesn't hurt to have a CRACK band anchored by Steve Hunter&Rob Wasserman (the entire band is tremendous).
What both makes it so special&oddly also at the same time might be my only criticism is this is NOT a greatest hits show. The only song on Berlin that qualifies for ME as a "greatest hit" is Lady Day (though the feel of the song has nothing in common with Billie Holiday stylistically, this song catches her essence better then any book I've ever read!). Berlin has several other strong songs (Sad Songs, Caroline Says, Men Of Good Fortune; there are NO bad songs on it), but again; it's not a hits show. We do get Sweet Jane as an Encore.
There's just something about seeing Reed feel these songs about being a 31 year old love lorn junkie as much at 64 as he did at 31 that melts me.
Highly recommended.』
(Pure Poetry.) 『This is one of the top 3 best Music films I've ever seen. The performance is so masterfully shot and performed (I like it more than the original album). Anyone who is a true fan of music will be blown away.』
(WARHOLS DREAM HAS COME TRUE....BERLIN LIVE!!!) 『After Lou's career was saved by Bowie IN 1972 with Lou's LP "Transformer", Lou went against expectation, creating his version of conceptual ARTROCK. BERLIN discribes the lives of two lovers, Jim and Caroline, her a singer, speed addict and mother, he a "waterboy". Berlin's reception in 1973 was cool, tho since that time, it has been critically reevaluated, and is now seen as his best, or second best solo LP. I love the heavy orchestration that has seldom been used before or since with Lou's work, and love the intensity of the relationship's tragedy at Berlin's core. Andy Warhol also loved the LP, and when it came out, he tried to get ahold of Lou, in order to mount a "cabaret" version of the LP. Sadly, Andy never connected with Lou, until Lou had morphed into his "ROCK AND ROLL ANIMAL" phase, shooting heroin, bleaching hair, etc. It took Lou only 35 years, to mount his cabaret version of BERLIN, but it was worth the wait. Lou's recent work has been sort of hit and miss, and I didnt expect this DVD to sound like the original album. Nevertheless, ALL the orchestration is intact from the album, and played note for note. Not only that, BERLIN adapts perfectly to the visual medium. Behind Lou, is a projection machine shows us, like the photographs in the BERLIN LP, a cinematic view of the lyrical storyline. Everything combines to bring forth an amazing show, that had me singing along for most of the album. Highlights, like "Caroline Says I", "Men of Good Fortune" and "Oh Jim" brought me goosebumps. When Jim beats Caroline up for shooting speed, and cheating on him, the guitar solo perfectly reflects the fight that destroyed the lover's relationship for the whole album. Its the dramatic summit of the piece. Backed up with the entire "rock orchestra" building on a riff, Lou attempts his Cecil Taylor-influenced guitar soloing, and pulls it off. BERLIN was amazing when it came out, its amazing now. All i can say to recommend this is, "IF" you are a fan of this album, then you wont be disappointed by the DVD, I can guarentee it. The only problem I had at all, was that Lou tried to speak/sing the parts, instead of singing the actual melodic vocal lines, as written in 1973. Since the production is very dense on the original BERLIN album, the vocal lines were often doubled by violin parts, or by the backing singers' harmonies. So, it's sort of sad not having Lou willing (or able?) to sing the original vocal parts. After the BERLIN album is performed, Lou and his basic rock band break into SWEET JANE. Then, CANDY SAYS begins, with ANTONY from ANTONY AND THE JOHNSONS singing the song to heartbreaking perfection. The album BERLIN is so visual, so cinematic, that to watch it performed like this, reinforces and elucidates the literary concept so well. For Lou/VU fans that never saw Lou play live, or never got a chance to see BERLIN live when Lou toured it, this DVD is a great consilation prise. I only wish that, like the "A NIGHT WITH LOU REED" video from 1983, the camera could have turned to the audience, to show Andy Warhol enjoying the realization of his dream for the BERLIN concept album, all these years later. Bravo, Lou.』
(Lou at his most lyrical and introspective) 『The 1973 album, Berlin, is a dark operatic song-cycle about speed junkies Caroline and Jim. Both of them work the streets but when it is determined that Caroline is an unfit mother and her kids are taken away by social services the story gets even darker and Caroline and Jim's lives take separate but equally horrific turns for the worse. Taken individually songs like "Men of Good Fortune" and "How do you think it Feels" are very good but not quite equal to Lou's greatest. But together these songs build upon each other and combine to create one of the most viscerally wrenching experiences in modern music. Admittedly, much of this sounds like it was written on cocktail napkins during a very dark, albeit painfully lucid, night of the soul. But the result is the most sublime music of Lou's career.
Though Lou always tells his stories through his character's eyes, this feels like confessional music written by an artist who is intimately acquainted with what life feels like in the dark aftermath of vanished love and vanished hope with nothing but the alchemy of his fevered brain to work with. And he produces not just a series of darkly beautiful and hauntingly introspective songs but a magnificently structured rock libretto replete with crashing rock chords, quiet cello and flute interludes, and a soul-replenishing choir. Its as if the artist had confronted oblivion itself, wrestled with it, and come up from the lower depths (or the Hell's Kitchen of the soul) with this magisterial orchestration with which to enchant himself back into life. And then he caps it all off with the most achingly beautiful rendition of "Candy Says" (sharing vocals with the fragile and tender voiced Antony) that I've ever heard. And thankfully so because even though the song is equally nihilistic in its vision of self-escape ("What do you think I'd see if I could walk away from me") it is a much-needed deliverance into the familiar after the soul-tormented foreign tour that is Berlin. "Candy Says" is followed by the rarely performed "Rock Minuet" (another of Lou's epic visions of street struggle), and then Lou finishes the set with "Sweet Jane" to provide emotional catharsis and closure.
Julian Schnabel perfectly complements the fragmented narrative with a collage of disjointed visuals that underscore but never intrude upon or threaten the integrity of Lou's composition. Its a perfect marriage of audio and visual art (Schnabel wisely takes a minimalist low-tech scrapbook approach using wallpapered panels, slides, and, occasionally, super 8 footage to create layers of visuals to complement the layers of sound). Its such a seamless and pleasing blend that I would not be surprised if this concert/art event does not become the new paradigm for concert/art in the decades to come.
Its so intimate and so intense that you feel like you are a kid again listening and responding to an album you just bought. In fact I was not familiar with this record so that is precisely the feeling that I had with this piece of music.
I'll admit that I do not love everything that Lou has done, but this is music that stirs the creative self and the heart and intrigues the ear in endless ways! I can think of very few albums that succeed on so many levels (Lou goes places no other artist goes) and get you responding on so many levels. This is music made and performed by an artist with all cylinders (light and dark) firing; Lou holds nothing back here and so you too respond with everything that you've got.
IPhone 3G used's review (Island of the Blue Dolphins) 『This is the story of Karana, a young Indian girl raised on an island off the coast of California. Supposedly it is based on a true story, and it tells of how she survived on her native island after all of her people were removed and her younger brother was killed. The reader never knows why Karana's people were removed from the island, which would have helped me understand the story a bit better.
While Scott O'Dell is a good storyteller, there are some gaps that I wished he had explained better. For instance, when the Aleuts first came to the island when Karana's father was still living, there seems to be no gap in communications. Somehow the Aleuts can communicate with the natives. When the white men come and cart off Karana's people there again is no communication gap. However, after the Aleuts return to the island many years later, Karana cannot understand the native Aleut girl who befriends her. Finally, when we read of O'Dell's afterward, he tells how Karana cannot communicate with the whites except for sign language.
But this inconsistency doesn't detract from an otherwise well told tale. Karana fends for herself for years on her island. She befriends the leader of the pack of wild dogs that killed her brother, she breaks with tribal tradition concerning women and weapons, she finds food, she builds a shelter, she survives storms, earthquakes, and a tidal wave, and she retains her sanity. This book is well written and moves at a quick pace. Asit is written for children, adults can read it quickly, but without becoming bored with the book.』
(A True Survivor) 『Winner of the Newbery Award, "Island of the Blue Dolphins" tells the story of Karana, a young Indian woman who becomes the sole occupant on a small island in the Pacific for several years. Based on a real woman who lived alone on San Nicolas Island from 1835 to 1853, it tells a moving story of survival where a woman with little means is forced to become resourceful, physically and emotionally strong and above all kept afloat by that fragilest of threads called hope.
When a band of Russian sailors called the Aleuts land on the island, their presence quickly becomes a bad omen for the small Indian tribe who live there. After a trade disagreement goes horribly awry, several members of the tribe are killed, including Karana's father Chief Chowig. Not long after they bury their dead, another ship full of white men arrives and agrees to take them to a safer place, their bout with the Aleuts now posing a threat to their livelihood.
In their haste to leave their small village of Ghalas-at, no one notices Karana's younger brother Ramo run back for his favored fishing spear. Knowing it is far too late to turn back for him, Karana goes overboard and swims back to the island to wait with Ramo for the next ship. She would wait a great many years to be rescued, many a tragedy great and small befalling her before she would see white sails on the horizon once again.
During her fight to survive, Karana contends with climate, the acquisition of food and shelter and the wild dogs that roam the cliffs. She also contends with the beliefs of her tribe, the construction and use of weapons strictly forbidden to women. This belief is unavoidably challenged when Karana realizes she must have a spear for not only fishing but self-defense as well.
O'Dell writes with a wistful air, Karana's voice becoming a poetic surrogate for the real Lost Woman of San Nicolas (as she was so known by historians), her own story never heard or extensively documented, a thing that is regrettably due to language barriers. He also writes of the comfort of companionship and the deep and prolonged yearning we all experience in the utter absence of human relationships.
Bottom line: A survival tale for the ages, "Island of the Blue Dolphins" has been read for almost five decades and will continue to be read for many more, its themes of hope and perseverence making it a veritable cornerstone in young adult literature.』
(Classic adventure) 『This is a story I have read many times since I was a child. I'm sure every little girl goes through that phase where she would like nothing more than to be a wild maiden living alone with the animals, and that is probably the basis of a lot of appeal. But that does destract from the fact that this is an incredibly written, incredibly moving story of survival and the overcoming of loneliness.
Based on an old story of a woman who survived for 18 years by herself, this tells the story of a young girl who is left on an island after her people build ships and leave their homeland. She jumps off the ship to rescue her brother, who subsequently dies. While waiting for ships to return for her, she dominates the island by herself with animals for company.
The description is real and powerful, and O'Dell provides a strong character. It's great adventure and touching drama.』
(Dolphin book for school) 『We received this book very quickly, in the described condition. It was an earlier print of the book with a smaller font, but overall it was a great buying experience.』
(Just didn't excite me) 『My babysitter got this out for my 8 year old daughter who loves to read, and I started reading it first to see if she would like it. I remember reading it as a child but couldn't remember whether I liked it or not. As an adult I found it somewhat interesting but not captivating. Nothing much happens, and I didn't think it was written in a way which would excite my daughter. I found myself wishing Scott ODell were a better writer--the descriptions of how food or clothing is made from natural products are so thin, compared to the Little House books (which are masterpieces). Since so many people seem to love it, I guess you just have to check it out of the library and see.』
IPhone 3G used's review (Blue's Clues - ABC's and 1,2,3's) 『Excellent for the start of ABC and 123 -』
(Superb! Outstanding!) 『The ABC part is really a whole language reading lesson. Couple that with Dr. Suess's Hop on Pop and you can teach your kid to read.
The 123 part teaches beginning addition.
Very well done.』
(Best for 3 and up) 『The title fooled me I bought this viseo. I bought it for my home daycare. I thought this would video to learn letters and begining count. This video is more advanced than that. It teachs words and begining math. It's a fun and well made video. It's jst not great for 18 to 2 1/2 yr olds. For that age group I'd suggest getting Sesame Street - 123 Count With Me, Sesame Street - The Great Numbers Game, Leap Frog - Letter Factory,&Sesame Street - The Alphabet Jungle Game』
(Classic Blue) 『We've had this video for over 5 yrs. It is now making it's way into our 2nd son's video repetoire. My oldest absolutely loved Blue when he was 1 and 2 yo. These videos are helpful in that they teach thinking skills using fun songs and bright colors. It's no wonder that Blue's Clues is still in production all these years later.』
(Blues Clues and Travelin Tyke) 『I really love Blues Clues and so does my 4 year old son. He watches it every day on Playhouse Disney and he learned to count from this video. i highly reccommend it to anyone! ...』 『The popular Nickelodeon Jr. show for the 2-4 age group does an excellent job of introducing simple vocabulary and numerical concepts in these two episodes. In the first, Steve and his dog Blue's house is labeled to discover what book Blue wants to have read to her. The labels (everything from "refrigerator" to "wall") are treated lightly, Steve mostly asking the audience to name the first letter of each word. Steve and Blue also work on constructing a simple sentence.
In the second episode, Blue wants to buy something. Simple counting games and a shopping trip to The Present Store make for a solid exploration of numbers. Addition, subtraction, and even fractions are on the menu.--Doug Thomas』
IPhone 3G used's review (never received) 『I have yet to receive the "Beauty and the Beast-The Enchanted Christmas. I have emailed the seller and have not heard back. I am angry and disappointed.』
(I Can't Begin to Recommend This Movie Enough!) 『Two words: absolutely enchanting.
I was looking through customer reviews for my old favorite Disney films, and I saw all of the unfavorable reviews for this title.
This follow-up to the classic Disney film is just as fun and magical as the original.
Enchanting songs and the same characters, plus a few new ones, make this a classic for kids and adults alike.
Wonderful.』
(Disappointing...) 『My 2 year old LOVES Beauty and the Beast, so I thought this would be a great movie for her. I was very disappointed with this movie. The beginning half is fairly cute, but Belle does a horrible job at singing the songs. The second half of the movie is very dark and the organ character is too much. The "Don't Fall in Love" song by the organ is absolutely horrible and dumb. I don't think the movie stayed true to the beast's character either. They made him a little too angry this time. He throws Belle in the dungeon and tells her that she will rot there forever. I still gave this three stars because my daughter was entertained, but I don't really like her watching it. I don't recommend buying this movie.』
(Far too scary for a Christmas movie. My kid loved it. I hated it.) 『We rented this film because my daughter is obsessed with "Beauty and the Beast." Her favorite character is Chip, and he features huge in this sequel, so she was interested throughout the entire movie and wanted to watch it over and over. I played Scrooge, however, and returned the copy immediately without a second viewing. In my opinion, this video is far too scary for little kids and too dark for a Christmas movie. The songs are forgettable, and the themes are way too mature for the younger set.』
(Not-so-Enchanted) 『Doing a "prequel" to the Disney classic was a hard act to follow, and it shows. The animation here is competent but fails to dazzle like the original, the villain is too droll, and there are no memorable songs. Since computer-animated fare have taken over the theatre staples, Disney has turned toward the direct-to-video market, and unfortunately, knocked off some rather lame sequels to their classic animated films. If you want a great film, then stick to the original "Beauty and the Beast". Better luck next time, guys!』 『Obviously the Disney suits gave more than two figs about the legacy from the firstBeastfilm, as they reassembled the former cast and spent some cash on production and tune-smithing for this straight-to-video effort. The events unfold between the time in the first film where Belle bartered herself to the Beast and her later return to the village to save her father. So the Beast's heart still hasn't been melted yet, and he's susceptible to the inky persuasions of Forte (Tim Curry), a malevolent pipe organ (and former music teacher to the prince). Belle is still trying to win over the Beast and decides that bringing Christmas to the castle will be the way to do it. Please control that gag reflex for this does work remarkably well, and though entirely unnecessary and certainly not a complement to the original, it doesn't tarnish its good name.--Keith Simanton』 『The enchantment of Disney's Academy Award(R)-winning film BEAUTY AND THE BEAST continues as BEAUTY AND THE BEAST: THE ENCHANTED CHRISTMAS SPECIAL EDITION happily casts its song-filled spell. This irresistible tale that "recaptures the magic and charm of the original" (Neil Rosen, New York 1) reveals a Christmas past when Belle does her best to warm the Beast's castle with the spirit and hope of the season -- despite the Beast's disdain of the holidays. Belle asks the castle's Enchanted Objects to join the celebration, including stubborn Angelique -- a delicate tree ornament who was once the castle decorator. But can Belle, Cogsworth, Lumiere, and their friends undo the plans of Forte, the pompous pipe organ who hates happy celebrations and tries to keep the Beast apart from Belle's special holiday gift? Newly remastered for sparkling sights and sound, and reuniting everybody's favorite voice cast from the original feature, BEAUTY AND THE BEAST: THE ENCHANTED CHRISTMAS SPECIAL EDITION overflows with five spectacular songs, spellbinding visuals, and the same delightful charms that brought Disney's original masterpiece to the screen. It's a holiday treat you'll find your entire family watching over and over again -- not just for Christmas, but any time of year!』
IPhone 3G used's review (Great product for price) 『This CCTV camera is one of a very few that offers audio.. and is priced very reasonable.. and easy to install :) I installed this camera for a friend which helped her Ex Son Inlaw get 90 days in the local county Jail for violation of the protection Order they had against him :) A picture may only be worth 1,000 words but a video can get you 90 days or more ....lol』
(Not so good in the dark) 『I have tried several cameras in this price range all different brands and I think this camera does well during daylight, but in the dark it does not. The LED's seem to only light up the center of the image and the edges are dark. The less the contrast the more washed out the image is at night. The mounting bracket is a little hard to work with, but it allows many different positions which is good. I also liked the size of this camera not to big to hide under eves.』
(Wide view, and great long range visibility in the dark) 『Generally Lorex is my favorite brand for security cameras. But this camera is the best I've used ever. It has a far wider view angle. So it's perfect for home use. What surprised me the most was that it has great visibility in extreme darkness. Colors (yes color) can be determined in the dark. The only complaint I have is the odd mounting bracket. It allows the camera to be mounted from top, bottom, or off any angled object. But the bracket is hard to tighten up without messing up the camera position. Aside from that, this is one awesome camera.』
(Great if you are prepared to spend extra $$$) 『Previously to purchasing this camera I did my home work and found this particular camera the perfect one for my needs at a very fair price. Well the camera is very good...clean images and such, but it was not until I spent another $33 for two BNC to RCA adapters and purchased additional cable would I even know that. So at least I can give you the heads up so you can be more prepared then I was. This camera only comes with 42 inches of cable and does NOT come with standard VCR hook ups.』
(Perfect security camera) 『I needed a camera to see all of my front yard , my culdesac, and provide a clear detailed view. This camera far surpasses my expectations. I purchased two cameras prior to this one for the same purpose. However, they were ineffective for the goal I had in mind. This camera took both of thier places and I now use them for different purposes.
