 Thermos Nissan

(Stainless steel; what more do you need to know?)
『Once called "Nissan bottles" before their purchase by Thermos, these stainless steel insulated bottles are highly prized by campers, boaters, climbers, and others who work in hazardous environments (daycare workers, teachers, office workers, beach bums...) They keep your drink or soup hot or cold and, in a pinch, you can use a Nissan bottle to fight off a raging elephant.』

(excellent small thermos)
『This Nissan thermos is my second one-lost the first one after ten years of use, when it was still doing a beautiful job. this is a great product-and I recommend it. You can pour one handed, the liquid stays very hot for at least 12 hours-or equally cold.』

(17 oz. Thermocafe not as good?)
『Like reviewer mommyofchristopher, I too bought the 17 oz. "Thermocafe" Thermos at Walmart. I have the Thermos/Nissan 34 oz. bottle, and it keeps things hot for the long periods other reviewers have found. The 17 oz. Thermocafe branded model is good for only 3 to 4 hours hot, then it gets noticeably cooler. A case of you get what you pay for?
New development: after one week of hot coffee, the pliable plastic/rubber stopper ring now has a terrible smell/taste that transfers to the coffee. Yikes! A strange plastic - burnt taste. I've soaked it in a bicarbonate of soda solution that has helped some, but not enough. I stopped using the "Thermocafe" Thermos, until I figure this one out. Could it be the coffee type? Is the stopper ring made of crappy materials?』

(Lives up to the Thermos reputation)
『I have broken the last two that I've owned, as their "pour tops" were designed with moving / removable parts. The pour top on this thermos is solid; hooray, no more breakage!!

My coffee stays hot and it's easy to clean after using. I am thrilled with this thermos!』

(Excellent carry-around thermos.)
『This small thermos has turned out to be very handy. It is very sturdy and despite the problems that others have had with the screw top, I have had no problems. I use the thermos to carry de-carbonated soft drinks around with me to places such as the gym or while working on garden projects away from the home. I have had ice in the thermos last about 24 hours. The screw top seal is very good and has never leaked. It is said in the information on this product to not put carbonated drinks in it. However, I will open a can of a carbonated soft drink earlier in the day and pour it in a glass to allow most of the carbonation to leave it, before pouring it in the thermos. Sometimes I will hear gas escape from the thermos when unscrewing the top, but never had had the screw top pop off as warned. It is very much like my very sturdy Stanley all-steal thermos only smaller and much more easily carried around during the day.』

(Awsome Product)
『I have a couple of Le Creuset products, so when I saw this I was first amazed at the price (The price on this item has fluctuated quite a bit, from the low $20s to the $50s, strange...), especially considering the price of Le Creuset. I decided to try this one, mainly because I needed something in this size. I really can't tell much difference in this brand and the other. It's a great dutch oven, perfect for smaller dishes. The color is great, just like you see, and the results after cooking with it for a couple of months - Excellent. For some things, there's just nothing better than cast iron, especially soups and stews. Nice size for a smaller beef burgundy or coq au vin, and casseroles come out very well also. This was an excellent addition to my cookware.』

(Waiting for the right price on green.)
『Lodge Color Enamel 3-Quart Dutch Oven, Emerald I have only used this particular item a couple of times, but we have others in other colors that we have used frequently. I don't have any complaints, but waiting around for the "good price" gets a little boring in particularly if it comes and goes without getting a chance to purchase. Of course, I could pay the "usual price", but why would I especially in these tough economic times?』

(Easy One Pot Cooking)
『Perfect size for singles/couples or for side dishes for families.

The cast iron is great for heat retention and durability. The enamel coating allows for more versatility than regular cast. The green is a beautiful green that is close to what is shown on screen.

I love the fact that you can start a dish on stovetop and then transfer to oven, all in one pot. Food tastes delicious and cleanup is a breeze.

Some tips from the brochure:

The porcelain surface eliminates the need to season cast iron. The black rim on the pot and lid are matte porcelain, not exposed cast iron.

The knob is oven safe to 400 degrees.

Hygienic porcelain enamel is non-reactive with food.

Use for any cooking technique, as well as to marinate, refrigerate, and freeze.

Lodge Color Porcelain Enamel on Cast Iron cookware can be used on gas, electric, ceramic, and induction cooktops, as well as in the oven. It is not recommended for use on outdoor grills, or over open outdoor flames.

Do not use in the microwave.

Cleaning and Care Tips:

Hand wash with warm soapy water. Use plastic scouring pads to assist in cleaning.

For persistent stains on Lodge Color Porcelain Enamel on Cast Iron cookware, soak interior of the cookware for 2 to 3 hours with a solution of bleach, consisting of one teaspoon of bleach per pint of water.

If there is baked on food on the cookware, boil a mixture of 1 cup of water and 2 tablespoons of baking soda in the cookware.

Hope the information helps.』

『Lodge Color Porcelain Enamel on Cast Iron cookware can be used on gas, electric, ceramic, and induction cooktops, as well as in the oven. The knob is oven save to 400 degrees. Lifetime Warranty. This Dutch Oven with Lid measures 9. 75 inches in diameter and 3 inches in depth.』
『With its lively palette and durable construction, the Color line from Lodge is great for everything from main dishes to desserts. Handcast from molten iron in individual sand molds, the line features a sturdy construction that conducts evenly and retains heat well. A double layer of chip-resistant, non-reactive porcelain enamel coats both rims and interiors, while glossy, colorful enameling covers the exteriors. Handsome as well as functional, the enamel simplifies use by eliminating the need for seasoning the cast iron while creating an ideal browning surface.

This attractive Lodge Color Dutch oven is suited to both stovetop and oven, simplifying the preparation of casseroles, roasts, stews, and baked goods. It is also designed for marinating or freezing and is safe on gas, electric, ceramic, and induction stoves. Other welcome features include side loop handles, a lid knob that is safe to 400 degrees F, and decorative concentric rings on the lid. Available in both 3-quart and 6-quart sizes, the oven comes in a variety of rich colors.[EB1] Washing by hand is recommended, and Lodge includes a limited lifetime warranty.--Emily Bedard

『I know this is an old movie, but my 4 year old daughter just loves it. She will actually sit still and watch this entire movie!』

(To Grandmother's House We Go)
『MaryKate and Ashley Olsen's early movies are really cute. When my daughters were younger (up to about age 10), they really liked the Olsen twins. So when this library's VHS copies of the movies needed to be replaced, I purchased titles on DVD, including "To Grandmother's House We Go." All these titles circulate regularly. Unfortunately, my daughters' favorites, "The Adventures of MaryKate and Ashley", in which they solve mysteries, are only on VHS or download. Looking forward to them on DVD!』

(Really Great)
『I bought it for Christmas, for my 7 yr. old grand daughter. We saw it twice the first day and twice the second day. She wanted to see it again the third day, so we did. Then I had to return home. She tells me every time we talk on the telephone, that she can not wait till my next visit so we can watch it together.

The film is very funny with lots of clever lines that my grand daughter has memorized. A good kid's movie is one that parents and grand parents enjoy as well. This one accomplished just that!.』

(Mikhail and Nutcracker how bad can it be?!)
『Perhaps the best interpretation of "The Nutcracker" ever made. Baryshnikov's finest hour. And as even the most ballet-ignorant know, that bar's set pretty high.

I have seen Mikhail Baryshnikov dance in the much-praised chick-flick "The Turning Point." And I have seen him dance his own interpretation of "Don Quixote." Good. Great, even. But not as much as fellow Russkie ballerino Nureyev's stab at "Quixote." And I have seen much more of him dancing. The man defies gravity, as well as many other laws. A ballet dancer, in the country of America, has been treated like a movie star. But this may very well be his best work, artistic-wise.

Mikhail Baryshnikov is man who hardly needs an introduction, as he is a man who is synonymous with ballet. The man is a household name, Baryshnikov is at his best here, which is more than difficult, even for him. Celebrated USA ballerina Gelsey Kirkland (who was a regular partner and even girlfriend of dear Misha at the time) actually proves to be a credible match. And even takes it to a higher level than he does in HER solo scenes.

This was the first "Nutcracker" I've ever seen. I have seen several interpretations of "The Nutcracker" since then, and this one still stands as the best of the lot. There are no real children in this cast. The children's roles are played by adults in adolescent-looking wigs.

The idea to make this a movie rather than a live stage piece kind of works. It allows for more visual effects than a straight live piece would have.

There is a moment where Ms. Kirkland dances a solo all by herself, that sequence actually left be breathless. When she shakes her pointed feet like bells, the music jingles in pitch-perfect sync. She doesn't seem to be following the music at all. The music seems to be following her.

It's so beautifully and perfectly done, that as someone who takes ballet and has danced on the stage, that it actually hurt to watch.

The day that I can move as gracefully and exquisitely (on her worst day, I mean) may never come. Kirkland actually, in that one scene, manages to steal the movie away from Baryshnikov. Baryshnikov's leaps, turns, jumps and pirouettes are as breathtaking as always, and somehow never seem to get old. Misha's striking presence and Peter Pan-like mobility just.. well, makes you want to get up and dance. Or just jump around. He doesn't so much leap as much as soars.

Baryshnikov puts some little touches of humor here and there. There's a lovable old man at the Christmas Party who attempts to dance and hurts himself, as well as a toy soldier who stubs his toe. Baryshnikov has always seemingly had the soul of a child and the heart of a clown.

The Arabian Coffee Dance has been deleted for running time, I'm sorry to say. As has Mother Gigogne. Not to mention The famed "Waltz Of The Snowflakes" is a powerhouse, the ballet corps sway to the music so beautifully, for the briefest moment, we actually forget about Baryshnikov and Kirkland.

Is Baryshnikov trying to give himself more screen time, Clara or the ballet itself? Alexander Minz proves to be invaluable as a supporting player in the role of Drosselmyer. I was reminded of Fred Astaire. He moves around with his long, willowy limbs in a way that seemed almost inhuman. I seriously doubt ever got half the credit he deserved throughout his life.

He had an effective, amusing cameo in "The Turning Point." Baryshnikov continues to prove time and time again what we already know--the greatest ballet dancer of any generation will always be a Russian.

The choreography is riveting, some of the best I've ever seen. Although, the honor for "World's Greatest" go to "Singin' In The Rain." Maybe the Russian could put dances together now. He's reportedly a great teacher of dance as well.

While many of the special-effects look a bit outdated, it remains a riveting experience. After all, most ballet movies are just filmed dancing and this one takes the effort to actually be something of a movie.

The acting is not much, nor is there as much plot as is traditional, a as this "Nutcracker" focuses more on the dancing and music. The pyrotechnics (the dancer's rapidly-moving muscular limbs and the way they and the music truly gel).

Despite Mr. Baryshnikov in the title role and given prominent first billing, the star of "The Nutcracker" is Gelsey Kirkland as Clara, as this is all Clara's story.

Mnay movies have attempted to translate this legendary dance story to the screen, usually with disastrous results. For example, the mistake the 20th Century Fox movie "George Balanchine's The Nutcracker" made was if they were going to made the ballet into a movie, they should have done something for the movie that they couldn't do for a live production. Alas, they did not. It moved so slowly and the whole movie was so badly-lit, it looked like somebody boot-legged the whole thing with a camcorder.

The solo duets are just as enjoyable. The dancers, are in fact, so good that they almost threaten to outdo the leads.

It's a beautiful story, more with flair and style in it's depth. It's a revised fairy tale.

When Misha and Gels prance together, their body movements almost in perfect parallel... it's beautiful and breath-taking. They seem to be connected internally somehow. These are two people brought-en together by dance. It's every little girl's dream... and that's exactly what the "Nutcracker" should be.

(the Nutcracker/Baryshnikov&Kirkland)
『This production is fabulous! Baryshnikov is at the height of his talent, and Kirkland is breathtaking. The best Nutcracker I have seen.』

(A beatiful Nutcracker)
『This version may not be the most sumptuous one, but never a Nutcraker presented the most perfect ballet couple to dance and act this famous ballet. It is worth the price because you will see it seberal times and your grandchildren will enjoy too.』

(This video goes to "11"! Wow!)
『Okay the "11" reference was to a dated movie called Spinal Tap.

If I could rate this video higher than 5 stars I would have. It is excellent. Baryshnikov at his peak and wonderful ballet all around.

My 3-year old daughter has become a big fan of the Nutcracker and she loves dancing. this is the perfect movie for her. Having said that the Balentine Nutcracker is excellent in a different way. The Nutcracker is a story that is fairly fantastical. Therefore, it helps alot to have strong narration. This video is light on the narration and therefore if you aren't familiar with the story you may not understand how the storyline is moving along. On the otherhand the Balentine Nutcracker is MUCH lighter on dance and heavier on the storyline. The compliment each other well.』

『The American Ballet Theater version of the Tchaikovsky classic, a 1977 studio rendition directed by Tony Charmoli, has become a holiday perennial on PBS stations and home video. It's a favorite of parents who want to give their kids the gift of culture--and with good reason. There's a loose fairy tale plot to keep dance neophytes interested, and Boris Aronson's eye-candy production design is a series of lavish dioramas. From an imperial-era Russian Christmas party out of Tolstoy, a young girl named Clara (Gelsey Kirkland) is whisked in dreams to an imaginary world populated by the animated creations of the wizard toy maker Drosselmeier (Alexander Minz), who prances on his stick-thin limbs like a Dickens illustration come to life. The main attraction is, of course, Mikhail Baryshnikov, one of the greatest classical dancers of the century, at his absolute peak of athleticism and precision. An opening slow-motion montage diagrams his fabled smoothness of execution, elegant airborne trajectories that have a feather-light perfection. Music lovers who know only "The Nutcracker Suite" will relish the chance to hear this great score all the way through, conducted with lilt and vigor by Kenneth Schermerhorn.--David Chute
『The Nutcracker marked the initial choreographic effort of Baryshnikov, universally hailed as one of the world's greatest dancers. Under Baryshnikov's inventive direction, the traditionally lighthearted story of a small girl's dream on Christmas Eve is transformed into a more complex theatrical experience. Broadcast regularly on PBS, this American Ballet Theatre performance (directed in the studio by Tony Charmoli) stars Gelsey Kirkland as Clara and Mikhail Baryshnikov at the peak of his artistic ability as the Prince/Nutcracker.』

When anneliese is captured erika must pretend to be the princess to save her. Studio: Lions Gate Home Ent. Release Date: 08/28/2007』
『Barbie's excellent musical debut features first-rate voices and songs, and a captivating story about love, responsibility, and freedom. Based on Mark Twain'sThe Prince and the Pauper, the 85-minute computer-animated adventure is about two almost identical girls who, though born into very different circumstances, are amazingly alike. A chance meeting between the young women becomes significant when Princess Annaliese is later kidnapped and (pauper) Erika suddenly becomes a crucial component in the search for the princess and her captor. The princess's confinement and Erika's glimpse into the life of a princess leads both girls toward a new compassion for the other and a serious contemplation of the conflict between one's sense of duty and the desire to be free. Adding to the general confusion is the princess's intended, the handsome King Dominick; her devoted tutor, Julian; and the Queen's evil advisor, Preminger. (Ages 3 to 9)--Tami Horiuchi

(A Great Family Film!)
『The plot in "Home Alone" is clearly improbable, but that doesn't detract one whit from the appeal of impish (but sometimes adult far-beyond his years) Macaulay Culkin, bumbling Joe Pesci, and the rest of the cast. And, like Aesop's Fables, the film has a moral and a heartwarming tone. It's just not possible to dislike this film.』

『If ppl actually dont like this movie. I just have to ask one question. What crawled up your butt? of course this movie is predictable and its much better when your a kid, but this movie like for most is a nostalgia movie. So for all you ppl who could see through the predictable crap and thought they were so smart for understanding that they were watching a movie full of holes...good for you!, but for most I didnt give a crap about the holes, its about having a laugh. So get over yourself and have a freakin laugh, its a christmas movie...Darn scrooges...』

(Classic Comedy)
『This movie has always been a childhood favorite and I encourage everyone to buy Home Alone because the language is very mild and it's suitable for a family audience.』

(Grandmother of Twelve)
『This film has many lessons to be learned. I've used it to teach CCD classes, showing that people should not be judged by how they appear (the mean old man next door). Also that families should appreciate one another more, a lesson that is learned by Kevin. The interaction between the boy Kevin and the would-be burglars is over the top, but is much appreciated by kids twelve and under. The good guys win, and the bad guys go to jail. When he is most afraid, Kevin seeks sanctuary in the house of God, the place of ultimate safety. The persistance of Kevin's mother in her attempts to return home to her son shows the depth of a mother's love. She is rescued by the kindness of strangers who show the true spirit of Christmas in sharing their ride with her.』

(One of the best comedys of 1990 and one of the funniest films from my childhood)
『Home Alone was one of the funniest film released in 1990 and is still a Christmas classic to me , tweleve years later. Macaualy Culkin became a star with this film and Joe Pesci showed more acting talent om this film. The ending in the film is one of the funniest and when I have kids I'll show them this treasured classic.』
『Now and forever a favorite among kids, this 1990 comedy written by John Hughes (The Breakfast Club) and directed by Chris Columbus (Mrs. Doubtfire) ushered Macaulay Culkin onto the screen as a troubled 8-year-old who doesn't comfortably mesh with his large family. He's forced to grow a little after being accidentally left behind when his folks and siblings fly off to Paris. A good-looking boy, Culkin lights up the screen during several funny sequences, the most famous of which finds him screaming for joy when he realizes he's unsupervised in his own house. A bit wooden with dialogue, the then-little star's voice could grate on the nerves (especially in long, wise-child passages of pure bromide), but he unquestionably carries the film. Billie Bird and John Candy show up as two of the interesting strangers Culkin's character meets. Joe Pesci and Daniel Stern are entertainingly cartoonish as thieves, but the ensuing violence once the little hero decides to keep them out of his house is over-the-top.--Tom Keogh
『Eight-year-old Kevin McCallister (Macaulay Culkin) has become the man of the house, overnight! Accidentally left behind when his family rushes off on a Christmas vacation, Kevin gets busy decorating the house for the holidays. But he's not decking the halls with tinsel and holly. Two bumbling burglars are trying to break in, and Kevin's rigging a bewildering battery of booby traps to welcome them!』

(It Works Because It's Fun)
『I bought this video along with a step video by Kathy Smith. Kathy Smith's moves were much too complex for me and I stopped using it. However after a day's work and doing home chores, I look forward to doing Jane Fonda's video. I have never done the whole step section at one time, but find it easy to choose 2 or 3 segments (the instructors take turns) and I often find myself saying "just one more segment." The moves are simple, but interesting, and the music is fun. All 3 instructors are good and upbeat. It really gives me a workout and leaves me feeling positive because I have enjoyed myself and exercised at the same time.

I've only done the ab section (by Jane Fonda) once, but will do it again because it's easy to follow while giving my abs a good workout.』

(Love It!)
『I love this work out! The step aerobics are great for any level, for you can adjust difficulty by arm movements, or higher step. I have been stepping for years and found this in a thrift store for only $1. Well yes it was well worth it. The moves are fun, and the ab routine at the end is really great!』

(Better instructions would have been helpful)
『I am totally new to aerobics and was looking forward to this video tape as a refreshing change from Pilates. But after having done the exercises several times, I would not recommend this tape to a beginner like myself.

Positives first: Jane Fonda's instructions to the abdominal workout are terrific. She has a natural talent for this and is therefore very easy to follow and listen to. I will continue to do these exercises, as I can feel and see them working. If only I could say the same about the aerobic workout....The aerobic workout simply doesn't work for me, due to lack of proper instructions. I wish the instructors would spend less time exclaiming "Give it to me!" and "All right!" and more time explaining the actual moves. Like another reviewer mentions, it is som

(great value)
『I use the paper version for those dvds_cds that I do not use a lot like movies where I will probably see once a year. The sleeves are great for reducing all the storage space that goes with keeping all my fabourite movies and cds.』

(Good protection from dust and scratches)
『I have to confess that I am a bit of a media maniac. My CD burner and my Panasonic DVD recorder work overtime. I could probably run a small pay per view movie theater in my living room! Frankly, I probably need to see a shink about my media obsession...
That being said, these disc sleeves are a perfect way to keep my discs from getting scratched up or dust covered. A stack of 100 discs stored in the envelopes takes up a lot less space than the same 100 discs in jewel cases (even the slim kind!) I prefer the colored sleeves over the white because the colors help me to file my discs in an organized manner. Movies in Red envelopes, Documentaries in yellow, Music in Green, etc... I store the discs in their envelopes in a 3 litre covered plastic bin with handles that is available in a national office chain (Hint: O.D.) you can check the bin out at reallyusefulboxes (for website, just add a .com) This is a very efficient storage solution for a collection as large as mine. And if my husband has me committed for my media mania, I can bring the bins with me because they are totally portable. LOL
The only reason I didn't give these envelopes 5 stars is because they are a little bit snug, so getting the discs in is not as easy as with the Memorex sleeves I bought in the past. However, I would buy these again as long as the price remains competitive.』

(Material is just like your copy paper.)
『If you are looking for something durable, multifunctional and long lasting, this is not the one for you. This is just like taking a paper from your printer and folding it into an envelope. The colors are beautiful. This may be fine for mailing CDs because it is just like a regular envelope with a window. However, I needed more so I got these yesterday and had to return them immediately. You just cannot beat Amazon's customer service because they were right on the case. They also paid for the return postage and I ordered the Fujifilm Media 25367101 Empty Color Slim Jewel Cases - 100 Pack. I cannot comment on that because I have not yet received it.

(love these)
『These are perfect for all those discs I burn. I especially like the colors.』

(Just what I need..)
『They are great for color coding discs, mailing, and general storage. Will buy them again.』
