I also use it to stimulate her in the house on rainy days when she is bored. That said, there are some other neighborhood dogs that come over and show no interest. It is a hit or miss for cats and dogs. It is so cheap it is worth at least getting one time to see. If your animal likes it - it stimulates them and gives them a ton of exercise. I am very grateful that this DVD was filmed and that the sound quality is top notch. So many of the great older bands will never had a chance to a DVD of this quality. I really hope Jeff will someday receive the attention he deserves. A true master, like he is, is doesn't come along very often. On top of his masterful songs, he appears to be a very sincere guy, and someone who you'd really enjoy being around.

(Amazing Show from an Amazing Band) 『My expectations for this DVD prior to seeing it but after ordering it from Amazon were mixed. E.L.O. is easily in the top 3 of my favorite musical acts just based on their studio albums alone, but how would they sound live? Not only that but how would they sound after it being so long (over 15 years) since they had disbanded?
The performance on this DVD blew away even my highest expectations. The only downside to it was that, as with any good thing, I wish it had lasted longer. As it is, it is a solid hour and a half of pure E.L.O in top form. The newer songs from the Zoom album fit in nicely with their older stuff. Nothing is out of place.
I have never seen another performance of E.L.O. live so I can't say how it stacks up against some of their other performances as far as song list and number and identity of individual performers go, but as I said, they do everything here nicely with what seems to be a minimum of artists(just under 10, I believe) considering the complexity of the music.
If you're a fan of great music and being entertained then you can't go wrong with this DVD. I only pray that they go on tour again so I can see them live in person. Hey, I can dream.』

Duncan's Bluff (Season 10)- James and Duncan have to deliver coal and they have a contest to find out who can deliver coal the fastest and Duncan decides to hide his coal cars but after he makes James work so hard that he runs out of coal Duncan thought badly about what he had done pretty good the moral is that its not good to lie and anyone can be really useful in their own way
Skarloey the Brave (Season 9)- After an incident with some coal cars skarloey tries to prove that he is the bravest so he tries to go up the winch but it breaks skarloey feels bad cause now the villigars wont be warm so he decides to deliver the coal himself So-so the moral of the story is that be responsible is much better than being brave
Big Strong Henry (Season 10)- Gordon says the henry is not strong after being chosen to deliver supplies for farmer mc coll but everyone tries to cheer Henry up by calling him Big Strong henry but they make Henry get carried away and cause some hay trucks to get smashed but when henry is clearing them away Gordon looses the cows so henry decides to help out by getting them to follow the hay to their new shed so henry is very helpful and clever Henry the moral of the story is don't get carried away about what people call you just be yourself nice episode and nice moral
Thomas Day Off (Season 9)- When Thomas has a day off he meets Dennis the new diesel and Dennis tricks by doing most of his work by lying but when Dennis does get into trouble no one is there to help Introduces Dennis the lazy Diesel the moral of the story is that is better if you do your work and not make lies to get someone to do it for you
Seeing the Sights (Season 10)- Thomas has to take some visitors to show them around the island he gets impatient when Gordon tells him he can show them more place than Thomas can. Thomas gets so impatient he leaves all of visitors behind at each place. The moral of the story is be patient with people don't rush them

(I fell in love with Barbie all over again...) 『I bought these 4 movies for my daughter yesterday and we watched them ALL. My 3 year old loves them and I was very and pleasantly impressed. My little one has been asking for the Mariposia one, and I thought, let's checkout these other ones first. I was glad I did and I want more. I want them for her and I love them myself. Over the years, I have shyed away from Barbie was not going to let her even play with them, as I felt there were getting " a little too grown up" But when I saw these movies, I fell in love all over again. The movies are beautiful. Everything from the scenery to the music, just so wonderful to watch. You will want to see it over and over again.
In these movies, Barbie is depicted as a strong sensible, sweet, kind person with values. She is the one who tries to make the difference and not the damsel in distress. She is not about self image and selfish... Lessons are taught in a gentle way and I must admit, being a die hard Disney fan, they were milder and slightly less intense. I loved these even more and so did my daughter. She has never asked to see anything over and over more so soon.
She loves being a princess and she loves to dance ballet. Now she wants to be a barbie princess. She takes ballet and she loves classical, so this was a good mix for her.
Watch them with your little girl and you will enjoy it. For the dad's, the animation is much like that of XBOX 360 and Playstation. Very nicely done Barbie.

Knew A Good Thing When He Heard It) 『"Hear My Song" (1992), an Irish film, a romantic musical comedy/drama, was written by its star, Adrian Dunbar, with Peter Chelsom, its first-time director, and is filmed on location in gritty Liverpool, England, and the lovely Irish countryside. It's based on the life story of the Irish tenor Josef Locke, born Joseph McLaughlin, who knew great success in England, but was driven back to his home country by the tax man.
Adrian Dunbar, a frequently-seen actor, plays Micky O'Neill, who has leased a down-at-heels Liverpool nightclub from the large and boisterous Irish-English Ryan family (Liverpool has lots of Irish immigrants, and their descendents). He proceeds to run the club further into the ground through bad bookings; first there's Franc Cinatra, then Mr. X, allegedly Joe Locke. But Mr. X was worse than a bad business decision: the mother, Cathleen Doyle (played by the still-gorgeous Shirley Ann Field), of Micky's lovely girlfriend Nancy Doyle, (played by the luminous Tara Fitzgerald) once had a thing with the real Joe Locke, and Mr. X, at Micky's instigation, has taken advantage of her. The Ryans and the Doyles are furious with Micky: the situation's desperate. So he decides to hobo off to Ireland, to track down the real Joe Locke, (played by Ned Beatty, enjoying the role of his life). Once in Ireland, Micky meets up with his best friend, Fintan O'Donnell, a booking agent,played by the also frequently seen James Nesbitt. (Oddly enough, both Dunbar and Nesbitt are sons of Northern Ireland.) The friends find Locke and his senior-citizen posse, and lure them back to the U.K. to save Micky's hide. In the U.K., of course, the taxman, Jim Abbott, played to the hilt by David McCallum, "That Man from Uncle," remembers Locke only too well.
The movie was made for less than 2 million pounds, in less than six weeks, but it's consistently funny, although admittedly lightweight, sometimes sentimental. Micky has a great repeating line, "I haven't been where you've been, I haven't seen what you've seen," and commitment issues. A cow figures in two hilarious scenes. Beatty seamlessly lip-synchs to the glorious work of an actual well-known Irish tenor, with whom I'm not familiar. Between them they deliver a marvelous "Hear My Song," that leaves not a dry eye, nor seat, in the house. (I've got another rendition of that song in my house, by the young Frank Sinatra, who was, of course, a pretty good tenor himself. And he knew a good thing when he heard it.)

Although Patrick Dempsey is always a treat to watch I didn't think this movie was his best. It was a little cheesy and not really all that funny. The movie itself is about two best friends who have no physical chemistry to one another until the female finds love on a trip to Scotland. After she returns from her trip engaged, Dempsey realizes she is the love of his life and he has to have her. (Just another typical love story) 『I really looked forward to watching this film, but ah! There is nothing new to see here. Its a very predictable film with some funny, dare I say laugh out loud (just not to hard) moments. I really can't even say that its worth the time, sadly. I mean if you are a McDreamy fan then you will probably want to watch. Also, if you are stuck in doors, in my case my date (well boyfriend) was running late and I found myself web surfing so I rented it online its an okay watch if the purpose is to fill in time, however I would not want to pay a couple of bucks to see it. If you have cable premiums then its probably best for you to wait for it to make it on there.
On another note, I watched 27 Dresses a couple of weeks ago and I didn't expect much from it but it was quite good. That movie would do over this one anyday- its story is entertaining, its plot is more substantial, and its not so very predictable though as most romantic dare I say comedies, as that one did not get any laughs out of me, you more of less know where the story will head. However, that film I felt was worth the time. Its also a very nice date movie- 27 Dresses is.』
