IPhone 3G used's review (Nice toy for crawlers) 『This toy is very nice with great colors, textures and a nice clicking noise. Good for little one's who can crawl after it.』
(Wonderful! More fun than you can imagine!) 『My daughter has had this toy since she was three months old and at six months still loves it. It's easy to clutch and the nubbly outside make it fun to mouth. The picture doesn't do it justice. The colored ball pieces move so that there is always a small part open which reveals a littly guy inside who has a smiley face and rotates. The inside of each part of the ball has a mirror finish which makes it visually quite interesting. When the outide pieces move they make a nice clacking sound and there is a rattle in the guy inside. Stimulates senses of touch, hearing and vision as well as curiousity and problem solving.』 『The Spin-Ball offers appealing multi-sensory stimulation. The different slices are in a rainbow of colors to elicit a harmonious feeling, and to develop the ability to differentiate between colors. Age: 6 months +』

(Great DVD!) 『I am so glad I got this DVD for my 2.5 year old- he LOVES it, and I enjoy it too. The animation in the four main songs is so well done and really diverse so each 'skit' feels completely unique. My son especially loves 'The Wheels on the Bus' and 'Dem Bones' and I hear him humming the tunes even long after we've watched the DVD. The extras are just so-so as I think they are skewed for older kids (5+) whereas the main four are very well suited for the 2-4 age group. I even think older kids would enjoy it! A great find.』
(Not worth it!) 『The weirdest dvd ever made for children!
Felt as if the people responsible for making this dvd were doing drugs while making it.
Also, there are only 4 songs on this dvd.
I was very dissapointed and my child showed absolutely no intrest.』
(wheels on the bus) 『I rented this product from a library for my two year on grandchild and she absolutely loved it and did not want to take it back. I tried to buy it from them and they recommend amazon com. to purchase it from. She watches it three or four times a day and sings and dances with it. I highly recommend every grandparent or parent purchase one.』
(Bright, eyecatching) 『This includes Paul O. Zelinsky's The Wheels on the Bus, Dem Bones by Rob Barner, Over in the Meadow by John Langstaff (illustrated by Feodor Rojankovsky, who did an exceptionally lovely job), and I Know an Old Lady Who Swallowed a Fly by Rose Bonne and Alan Mills and sung by the great Burl Ives. My almost two year old loves The Wheels on the Bus and will not move when it is on. She also adores the book, which is simply magical, and sold seperately. She does not care for the other three yet, these are for slightly older kids, maybe closer to four years old. The production values on all are okay, not great, but the illustrations and stories are lively and imaginative.』 『Studio: New Video Group Release Date: 10/25/2005 Run time: 45 minutes』
IPhone 3G used's review (Great Entertainment for Toddlers&Preschoolers) 『My 2-1/2-year-old granddaughter loves to follow directions. Whether it's trying to do the hand movements, marching or counting, the Wiggles help me provide a lot of music, movement and learning in her day. Another of her favorites is their "Yummy, Yummy" dvd :) You can't go wrong with the Wiggles!』
(My toddler is bored with this video!) 『I bought this video because of all the great reviews. My 16 month old LOVES the Wiggles but she does not like this video. It is old.... it was first released in 1999, though on Amazon it says 2004. The backgrounds are really cheesy, and the songs are older. I am now off to find a newer, more entertaining Wiggles video. If I were you, I'd do the same!』
(These really are great videos) 『I have a three year old and a 4 year old with down syndrom and they both love the wiggles. They both can do some of the dance moves and my three year old can sing some of the songs. And even though we watch this video about 20 times a day we're still not sick of the songs like barney or thomas the tank engine』
(Fun Time for Toddlers) 『This is a great Wiggles video. Wiggle Time is our second favorite Wiggles video. (The Wiggles - Top of the Tots is our #1 because the songs are our favorites.)
This video had my 1 and 3 year olds mesmerized from the opening moment. Wiggle Time has fun songs, dancing, kids, all the favorites like Dorothy the Dinosaur and Captain Feathersword, a magic trick and some live footage from a Wiggles' concert. We have watched it over and over again.
We love it and sure you're toddlers will too. It's Wiggle Time!』
(Wiggle Time is GREAT) 『My three year old and 16 month old love this video! Great songs with snappy tunes. My kids love to dance to this dvd. I highly recommend it!』 『The Wiggles are Australia's hottest children's entertainment and it's easy to see why. This 40-minute video is packed with 16 fun songs that make children want to dance and, yes, wiggle. Greg Page, the main vocalist, has a pleasing, folksy voice reminiscent of Canada's Raffi. Murray Cook and Anthony Field accompany on guitar, Jeff Fatt accompanies on accordion and keyboard, and all three dance, wiggle, and teach kids song-specific movements and lyrics. The songs themselves have imaginative lyrics and catchy melodies, a fact that hints at Anthony, Murray, and Greg's backgrounds in early childhood education. Costarring with this foursome are four lovable, costumed characters: Dorothy the Dinosaur, Captain Feathersword, Henry the Octopus, and Wags the Dog. The majority of the video features Greg, Murray, Anthony, and Jeff on uncluttered sets with simple background props that set the mood without distracting viewers from the musical experience. The latter portion of the video features several live performances ("Wags the Dog," "Five Little Ducks," "Wiggly Medley") fromThe Wiggles Big Show. The tour brought the foursome to America in 1999. This award-winning group from Australia provides a fun, interactive musical experience for kids ages 1 to 6.--Tami Horiuchi』 『Hey everyone! What time is it? It's WIGGLE TIME! IPhone 3G used's review (WHAT DO YOU EXPECT?SHE'S A VIRGO......) 『....A VIRGO GIVES YOU NOTHING BUT PERFECTION.I'M A VIRGO MYSELF....LOL.ANYWAY I LOVE BEYONCE,I JUST RECENTLY SAW THE EXPERIENCE ON DVD...AND I'LL SAY YOU WILL BE TRANSFORMED.BEYONCE PULLS YOU INTO THE SCREEN AND YOU WILL BE AMAZED HOW A PERSON CAN CARRY THE WHOLE SHOW IN 6 INCH HEELS.HER DANCERS AND BAND MEMBERS ALL WORK IN HARMONY.I LIKE EVERY SONG...EVEN THE SONGS I WASN'T FOND OF ON HER ALBUM.I HAVE TRULLY EXPERIENCED...THE "EXPERIENCE" YOU WILL NOT BE BORED.I LIKED IT SO MUCH I WATCHED IT ALL OVER AFTER WATCHING IT FOR 2 HOURS LONG. I AM HOOKED.』
(Not a Beyonce fan, but actually enjoyed this...) 『I bought this DVD for a friend (don't really care for beyonces music). We watched it and she is VERY entertaining in this live performance and she maintains her energy throughout the whole performance, and it is not a short DVD.』
(A Great Experience) 『Since Beyonce went solo, I have been very disappointed in her. Not that I have a problem with her going solo. She just have not lived up to the hype surrounding her...until now! This DVD concert is the first project that lives up to her "legend-in-waiting" status.
This concert was great. Beyonce sings and dance her heart out in every number. Don't expect too many surprises though, because this DVD is basically an upgrade from her "Beyonce - Live at Wembley". She took the concepts of her first solo DVD and Destiny's Child farewell Atlanta DVD and upgraded the performances a level or two. That's not a bad thing, but I expected to see a little more from her.
I have only two real complaints: There is no bonus footage (behind the scenes footage, interview, or bonus track). In this day and time, you expect more from an artist and I think Beyonce short-changed us on the extra stuff. Its no wonder Christina Aguilera's DVD is doing better than Beyonce's (despite costing more).
The other complaint I have is the video is stretched. Why? To make her appear thinner? It didn't work because even though Beyonce is beautiful, you can tell she was heavier than her last tour. I just find it tacky that they tried to cover that up by stretching the video.
Either way, I enjoyed the concert and I think you will too.』
(I was very entertained) 『I went to the concert in Chicago and purchased the DVD I wasn't disappointed and the price was right. It was the first concert I ever been to and the first DVD concert ever purchased. GRRRRRReat』
(It's a really good experience) 『I always love Beyonce shows, but this is a really good one... I recommend to buy this product, the show has everything you can expect from Beyonce... dancers, lights, magnificent sound, etc.』 『Studio: Sony Music Release Date: 11/20/2007』 『Though Beyonce Knowles has earned fame as an actress and a spokesmodel, she is first and foremost a singer, as she showcases in the entertaining concert filmThe Beyonce Experience Live. Polished, effortlessly glamorous, and a strong showman, Knowles is the Diana Ross of the 21st century. The singer-songwriter is equally comfortable belting out a rocking dancing number or crooning a heart-wrenching ballad. Though she shares the stage at times with her boyfriend Jay-Z and her bandmates in Destiny's Child,The Beyonce Experience Livemakes it clear that she really is a one-woman act. The packaging on the DVD asks, "Are you ready to be entertained?" The answer better be yes, because Knowles gives it her all. Singing, dancing, joking around, costume changes--it's all there. And Knowles is the type of likable performer who makes viewers feel that even though she may be more talented (and prettier) than the rest of us, she's really just one of the girls. Then, too, you've got to love a gal who celebrates a woman's right to gain a few pounds (aka "jelly") in the infectiously catchy hit "Bootylicious." The film does a good job of including various phases of her musical career, from a defiant rendition (with Destiny's Child) of "Survivor," to a funky duet with Jay-Z on "Upgrade U," to a tongue-in-cheek rendition of "Check on It" (from the soundtrack ofPink Panther). While Jennifer Hudson completely overpowered her in the film adaptation ofDreamgirls, Knowles has a pleasant voice well suited for R&B-tinged pop. She paces her set well and doesn't overextend herself to the point where she has to rely on audio tracks to supplement her vocals. Many tour films fail in capturing the excitement of a live concert experience. The Beyonce Experience Liveis about as good as you can get to seeing Knowles live, but without having to buy a ticket.--Jae-Ha Kim』
IPhone 3G used's review (Excellent service) 『The CD was as advertised. The price was terrific and with free delivery it beats going shopping at a retail store. Meet Me In St.Louis is a classic, great family film and should be shown in every grade school.』
(It Doesn't Get Any Better Than This) 『Vincent Minelli's period musical is about a family to whom . . . well, nothing really happens in this movie. But if you can give yourself over to its message that (once again) there's no place like home, you'll see that this picture is a thing of pure beauty.
A wonderful score, the most beautiful use of Technicolor you may ever see, and Judy Garland. What's most remarkable about this movie is the complexity of its delivery. Yes, it presents a rose-colored picture of good old days that may never have been. But the cast believes in it. Everything is just a bit heightened -- the colors are rich and seductive, the lighting casts deep shadows and textures across the screen, the banter among family members is more clever than it would ever really be, and the sense of importance around the moments in this year in a family's life make them feel like little jewels to be treasured. Without making too big a point of saying so (ok, so every scene opens with a framed photograph), Minelli presents us with a picture book of memories. This may not be how things ever were, but it is how people would like to remember them.
Music advances the story in ways few musicals manage to pull off. And it certainly doesn't hurt to have Garland deliver the most memorable ones: "The Trolley Song," "The Boy Next Door," and "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas."
Our point of view keeps shifting between those of our two main characters -- Judy Garland's Rose and Margaret O'Brien's Tootie -- and there's a persistent sense of seeing things the way they might have . . . or the way they might look back on these memories. O'Brien's Halloween night is not simply beautiful -- dark and moody, lit by moonlight and bonfires -- but it allows you to see and feel as she might, or as she might remember that night. The camera is low and tracks with her, looking up at houses and adults and the dark tree tops.
And yes, it's a perfect movie for the holidays. Sure, the story's climax takes place on Christmas. But, most importantly, it's the movie's perspective on the fond memories of childhood that makes this an especially good fit for the season.』
(Meet Me in St. Louis DVD) 『Meet Me in St. Louis is a favorite movie of mine&to get it on DVD for such a good price was really a treat...it arrive safely wrapped in record time&I am pleased to use Amazon again. JLKV』
(movies) 『this is a great movie, go it for my moms b-day. love it! and it got here fast』
(Nostalgic period musical) 『This movie is a Valentine to the "good old days",days that are viewed through gold tinted lenses and I defy all but the most curmudgeonly not to yield to its pleasures. It features a near peak Judy Garland impeccably directed by Vincente Minnelli in a movie that looks at a year in the life of an affluent middle class St Louis family .The father ,and head of the family (at least notionally)is Alonzo Smith (Leon Ames). The family consists of mother Anne (Mary Astor),two older daughters named Ethel(Garland)and Rose (Lucille Bremmer)and two much younger ones Agnes (Joan Carroll)and the baby of the brood Tootie(the winsome and charming Margaret O'Brien),and a son Lon (Hank Daniels).Completing the household are the capricious grandfather (Harry Davenport)and the faithful family maid Katie played by the scene stealing Marjorie Main.Marriage is on the mind of the two eldest daughters;Rose is being courted by one beau at home and is corresponding with another who is away at college in the East while Ethel is attracted to the boy next door John Truett (Tom Drake).Agnes and Tootie are still mischevous children The movie looks at the life of the family over a year ,a year in which the city prepares to play host to the 1904 World's Fair ,the scenes of which are beautifully recreated by the art team under the skilled direction of Cedric Gibbons .Indeed the art team deserve special kudos for their work on the movie -the interiors are also sumptuous ,rich in colour and detail so this is amovie that always looks beguiling .events covered include Halloween and Christmas ,a season overshadowed by family tensions as a move to New York is in the offing .This gives a memorable bitter sweet tinge to Garland's moving rendition of Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas ,a song which gains added complexity from its placement in the movie. The other musical highlight and the big production number is The Trolley Song ,and also memorable is the Skip To My Lou sequence. Plot is not the strong point of the movie ,and these are provided by a stellar cast ,period detail and a string of tuneful ,melodic songs, all bathed in a warm lustous technicolor. This is one of the warmest and most charming of musicals ,a portrait of an altogether more innocent and less cynical era ,a triumphant celebration of middle clasa Americana
Unashamedly nostalgic ,this is a lovely movie and should be seen by those wanting a warm hearted celebration of the past and family values』 『One of the finest American musicals, this 1944 film by Vincente Minnelli is an intentionally self-contained story set in 1903, in which a happy St. Louis family is shaken to their roots by the prospect of moving to New York, where the father has a better job pending. Judy Garland heads the cast in what amounts to a splendid, end-of-an-era story that nicely rhymes with the onset of the 20th century. The film is extraordinarily alive, the characters strong, and the musical numbers are so splendidly part of the storytelling that you don't feel the film has stopped for an interlude.--Tom Keogh』
IPhone 3G used's review (DVD please!) 『Love the music, love the mood. Want to replace my VHS tape with the DVD. Please release it!』
(One of My All-Time Favorites) 『I have to admit that people who don't like classical music might not care for this movie as much because the story in itself is a little dated, slightly gooey, and there's a lot of classical music but otherwise, this movie is just a gem and I'm so glad to see how many other people have discovered it over the years. I too wish the DVD would come out. The music, especially Amy Irving's Prokofiev concerto at the end, is truly stunning and makes the movie so unique and enjoyable. (I only wish I could find a DVD of the actual pianist who played it.) It's wonderful to enter the world of the serious would-be concert pianist and the divas who had already made it (Lee Remick and Sam Wannamaker's characters) and this movie gives people a really great idea what the world was like back in the late 70's/early 80's (Polyester, disco, cold war, defections, etc.) The love story is at times, just a little sappy, but you have to remember that the characters are naturally very passionate (or they wouldn't be very good musicians, let's face it.) I thought it was actually a pretty realistic and fascinating story-line and there's the age old question of the sexual power struggle at the end- that one still hasn't been resolved. A few people have commented that Richard Dreyfuss overacts but I really disagree. His character is a diva-in-the-making and Dreyfuss won an Oscar for acting right around this time- he was excellent. In person, he was a jokester and constantly having too good of a time - the exact opposite of the character he plays. Viewers who are a lot younger may think the characters are unrealistic but even in the 80's, the world was a lot different- people thought differently- so I'd really give it a chance.』
(You Can Wait...) 『...for the DVD. It won't be any more or less dated when it comes. It was a sappy love story in 1980, almost embarrassing, but looking at it now I'm surprised by how well it was put together, without any computer effects, without 5-second cuts for short attention spans, etc. The acting is competent, but it's the music that carries the film. The sexual energy comes from Prokofieff, not Amy Irving.
I used to get residuals twice a year from this, my only major Hollywood gig, but the checks stopped last year. Possibly my contract ran out, or perhaps they stopped showing it on Romanian TV. So scream for the DVD, friends! I can always use the cash. And if you enjoyed the Where's Waldo books, you can play Where's Giordano with this film. I dig out the VHS once in a while just to amaze new acquaintances.』
(A favorite!) 『One of the movies I enjoy watching again and one that should be released sooner rather than later on DVD. Credible and creditable preformances by Richard Dreyfus as the pianist competing in his last year of eligibility - he does anxious and anal very well! - and Amy Irving as the girl who's got it all. Wonderful performances by Lee Remick and Sam Wanamaker and for that matter by most of the other supporting cast. And, of course, there's the music!』
(Where's the DVD?) 『As a pianist, this is one of my favorite movies. It gives the viewer a glimpse of the pressures of big league music competitions and manages to do so with charm and wit. Dreyfuss and Irving are perfect for their roles as both are competent pianists. The final competitions with the orchestra will absolutely produce goosebumps all over anyone who remotely enjoys classical music. This movie begs to be re-mastered on DVD. In an age where even the Three Stooges are on DVD--Sony, WAKE UP!! This is a classic!』 『When you are in the mood for a pleasant little romance, this should fit the bill. Amy Irving and Richard Dreyfuss are young pianists vying for the same prize. Surprise, surprise, they fall in love. We then must wait, with (nearly) breathless anticipation, to see if she will throw the contest to ensure his love. It is all a bit starry-eyed, but not overly gooey. The concert footage is handled with class, and there are some fine supporting performances from Sam Wanamaker and Lee Remick. It is also a lot of fun to see Dreyfuss and Irving as such fresh-faced innocents.--Rochelle O'Gorman』
IPhone 3G used's review (only one star because of the price) 『This is a great movie but my rating is a bit low because of the price here some sellers want as much as 100 dollars for a tape thats a rip off it wasnt even that much new. But if theres one here for a decent price and its not an ex rental defantly buy it its a great movie.』
(15 years I have been actively pushing for its release.) 『This is the Peanuts DVD I have been waiting and pleading and begging for 15 years now. There will be bootleg versions out there. It needs remastered and put out by Paramount quickly. Some Bootlegs have been coming out just as good as originals lately. Anything would be better than my worn VCR Tape of it. [...]』
(dvd please) 『As many others, i would love to see this film on dvd. It is my favorite of the four.』
(Joining the "Put it on DVD" Campaign) 『I have to agree that this is the best of the four animated Peanuts films (though Snoopy Come Home is a close second for me). Filled with family-styled action, adventure and humor. Lucy and Sally trying to adapt to camping life ("We can't even plug our iron in!"), Linus the blanket-whipping hero, Snoopy and Woodstock searching for each other after a storm and taking a wild tire ride afterward, and so much else. I won't spoil the result of the race other than to say it's priceless and I love it. I got this on VHS at least 5 years ago but I would love to add it to my DVD collection. Have the first two movies on DVD, it's time they put this and Bon Voyage out too.』
(Put it on DVD!!!) 『I haven't seen this since I was a kid. I have kids of my own now, and really wish to share this one w/ them. They just watched the Thanksgiving and Christmas specials, and love them. I told them that they need to see this one...but it's not on DVD (yet?)! And I really don't desire to pay $50 for a worn out old VHS tape. C'mon!!!』

(Great movie but horrible 3-D) 『The first time that I ever saw The Polar Express it was in the IMAX 3-D format and we found it absolutely enthralling. I eagerly purchased the DVD when it was released, and we still loved it even though it was not in 3-D. When I learned that it was being re-released on DVD in a 3-D version I automatically ordered a copy even though I already owned it on DVD. I was very disappointed. The 3-D technology on the home version is not nearly as compelling as the process used in the theatrical version. I don't know all of the ins and outs of theatrical 3-D effects, but I remember it being far superior than what I just started to watch tonight. I saved the glasses from the IMAX 3-D presentation of this film, and both lenses are a light grey tint, while the home 3-D version uses the old red&blue lens technology resulting in a blurry double image. If you already own this movie don't waste your money expecting
