(Great stuff) 『Very nice pots and pans. Great for a dorm room. Exactly what I was looking for at a great price.』
(Not Farberware) 『These are the bargain bin, stepchild of Farberware. They look sleek and shiny, but the quality isn't at all what I expected. Probably good as a starter kit - but not if you do a lot of cooking.』
(Great Buy) 『Great product. The quality of the Cookware is excellent and will recommend any one to purchase this reasonably priced set.』
(Silver is Better) 『I replaced some vintage (and heavy and worn) aluminum pots with this set. I love the silver color - it reminds me of aluminum. And, these are light enough to hang from my pot rack for easy access. I haven't used the pots long enough to discern the wear on the silverstone interiors, but I'll let you know in 10 years.』 『Enjoy stunning good looks and durability with this Cookware Set from the Culinary Colors Series by Silverstone. IPhone 3G used's review (Lots of paint...does stain clothes sometime.) 『My children and I loved getting a bunch of paint to play with....quantity-wise, it's great. It did not wash out of some clothing it got on...including my white sweater. (Why was I wearing a white sweater during a paint session?........silly.)』
(finger paint) 『I have not used this product as it is a Christmas present. It is exactly what I ordered and is a great value.』

IPhone 3G used's review (Everything but "The Pick of Destiny") 『This is a great DVD from the greatest and best band in the world. As the title states, this DVD includes every single Tenacious D publication that I can think of other than their latest movie, "The Pick of Destiny." It includes older material you may have seen, and much more material that you probably haven't. All of their music videos, HBO episodes, HBO short films, TV appearances, and even a full length concert at the Brixton Academy. Comes with 2 discs, one labeled "for fans", and one labeled "for psycho fans." Both are great discs - as long as you can stomach the D's humour!』
(Excellent Portrayal of the D) 『People always say Jack Black and the D are hilarious, but you dont really know either of them until you've seen this dvd. This is Tenacious D at their best. The concert, the show, the skits, all are funny as hell. The Complete MasterWorks is totally worth buying.』
(Love it...) 『I love this DVD... This is what Tenacious D is all about. Gotta love it...or be very disturbed by it.』
(this dvd rocks, so hard.) 『a must have for those tenacious D fans who used to stay up until 3am just to see a couple 15 minute episodes of the D on HBO way back in the day.
it will rock your socks off.』
(Every fan of the D needs this!) 『If you love Tenacious D, you need these DVDs. Featuring a concert, all the HBO shorts they've done, and a travelogue of one of their tours, Masterworks let's the fan understand the minds behind the 'D' far more than previously possible.』 『If you're not a Tenacious D fan already,The Complete Master Worksmight make you an instant convert (or scare you away; it all depends). One thing's for sure: If you thought "the D" were nothing more than a novelty act, this two-disc feast will set you straight, proving that classically trained guitarist Kyle Gass and fast-rising comedy star Jack Black (School of Rock) are a bona fide acoustic power duo, scorching the pop-cultural landscape with their satirically scathing lyrics while qualifying as legitimate musicians with awesome chops and just enough insanity to make them dangerous on stage. Disc 1 ("For Fans") is all meat and potatoes, consisting of a brilliant concert (taped at London's Brixton Academy, November 3, 2002) in which Black casts himself as an abrasive provocateur, daring to offend "KG" and the audience alike with barbed taunts and spiteful attitude (all faked, of course, but convincing enough to sucker the gullible). The musicianship is first-rate, and Black's vocals remarkably spry, a deft combination of rapid-fire scatting and heavy-metal worship. The HBO episodes chronicle TD's early years as their popularity was still mostly an L.A.-based phenomenon, and without exception they're wet-your-pants hilarious.
Disc 2 is aptly dubbed "For Psycho Fans," offering a potpourri of TD ephemera for true devotees, including three HBO short films that are gross enough (and funny enough) to make any Farrelly Brothers comedy look positively tame by comparison (in other words, this definitely isn't kid's stuff). The TV appearances are somewhat redundant with the concert material, and the "On the Road" video diaries are perfunctory but fun. The best is saved for last: two music videos paired with "making-of" featurettes, including Spike Jonze's fantasy-oriented video for "Wonderboy," and a devilishly adult-oriented video for "FHG" (salacious "D" fans know whatthatmeans) from the animators ofRen&Stimpy. If you're offended, don't blame "Kage" and "Jables"--their Tenacious DVD has "Parental Advisory" clearly stamped on its cover, and prudes are well-advised to stay away.--Jeff Shannon』

Usually ships in 24 hours IPhone 3G used's review (Great) 『Great for kids and adults saw it many times when i was a child now my kids are enjoying it.』
(Follow that Bird) 『I remember watching this when I was a kid, I loved it then and I love it now. Big Bird was sent to go live with another bird family by a Bird Adoption Agency and he did not like it there. So he decided to walk home, which the bird family thought he ran away. The people from Sesame Street went to look for him, before the Bird Adoption Agency that made him go live with the other family could find him. There was a lot of funny things that happened and fun songs that kids and grown up would like.
I recommend this movie to kids and grown ups.』
(Realities of the Human Condition) 『This is an interesting movie in that it really shows realities of the human condition. The movie starts with a bird agency deciding that Big Bird can not be happy because he is not living with other birds. So, they decide he has to leave Sesame Street to live with a bird family. (The DODOs.) They expose a harsh reality here. More often than not, these agencies make decisions and pass judgments WITHOUT knowing what they are talking about or establishing the facts. (Especially agencies that are suppose to help people with disabilities.)
If we want to go a bit further, the great Shakespeare said in "King Lear:" 'striving to better, oft we mar what's well.' Moving on, Ms. Finch (of the agency) goes to Sesame Street and convinces Big Bird he will be happier with the Dodos who live in Illinois. Back in SS New York, Big Bird's friends are of course upset, but they agree it is Big Bird's decision to make. BB's friend Mr. Snuffalupugus is especially sad, but BB convinces him he can visit.
Without going on too long, the Dodos make the naive Big Bird look really intelligent. While BB can tolerate their unintelligence, he can not tolerate it when they won't let Mr. Snuffalupugus visit because he is not a bird. Big Bird runs away, and his friends back at SS see the story on tv and decide they have to look for him. His friends (despite their flaws) go off to look for him. (Even Oscar the Grouch!)
But things are not going to be simple. Ms. Finch is still looking for BB to bring him back to the Dodos, and a corrupt entertainment duet is after Big Bird to use him for financial gain.
While this movie may APPEAR to be for children, it raises many aspects of the human condition, (Agencies who don't know what they are doing, corruption, flawed friends trying their best, etc.) Between the suspense, comic relief, and good songs, this movie is seldom boring. In some ironic moments, some of BB's friends get close to him, but miss him. (Ernie and Bert find him, but lose him just as quickly. We're not sure whether to laugh or cry!)
This movie may technically be for children, but I feel it has lasting value and should be watched by adults as well.』
(Follow that Bird) 『I remembered this movie from when I was a kid, I use to love it. I took a chance and got it for my 2 year old and was I glad I did. It is now one of her favorite movies. She asks to watch it all the time, Her favorite use to be elmo now she really loves big bird. I give this movie a great review.』
(My 3 year old was crying) 『I think this was a good story, typical Sesame Street, but my 3 year old was crying through most of it because Big Bird was lost, and then he was blue, and oh no! That made her cry more. Anyway, you know your child; mine is still a little sensitive, obviously, so we've shelved this one for now.』 『Follow That Birdis as much a journey through time as it is a romp past the Sesame Street stop sign. Curiously, the cast members--live ones like Gordon and Maria, not just the Muppets--have the timeless look to them. Only the cameos (by Sandra Bernhard, John Candy, and others) plus a few ill-conceived hairdos clue us in that this feature film was made in 1985. Otherwise, it's all sophisticated Sesame humor and bighearted fun here as Oscar, the Count, and crew set off to rescue Big Bird, who's on the lam from a family of adoptive dodos. Only one conceivable complaint: The latter crop ofStreetviewers may miss Elmo, who hadn't been created whenBirdfirst flew into theaters.--Tammy La Gorce』 『A meddling social worker sends poor big bird off to ocean view illinois for the comforts of family life with his own king the dodos. But big bird is a disaster as a dodo and lonely and homesick he soon sets off on foot for sesame street. Can his old friends find him before he runs afowl of trouble en route? Usually ships in 24 hours IPhone 3G used's review (For oldies acts, these guys are still very vibrant!) 『OK, first off, I would never have purchasd thid DVD were it not for my wife. She'd seen some of it on one of the cable channels and raved how good it was. I got it for her on a whim.
As it turns out, this two-CD concert is great! It opens with Chcago and Towner of Power, two horn-driven bands, playing several songs together. Then they toss a coin to see who goes first and Tower of Power gets the win. I've never been a big fan of theirs, but Mr. Bailey and Co. kept my attention.
The second CD opens with Chicago's performance, and closes with both groups jamming together for several tunes. With Pete Cetera long gone, I was prepared for a watered-down "oldies" band. The few young guys add some energy, but, surprisingly, the original members of the band are in fine shape and kicked butt. Fortunately, much of the concert was geared toward Chicago's early hits. (I stopped following the band after Chicago VII, and I own every CD from Chicago Transit Authority through Chicago VII...nothing since has really caught my interest.) On the performances of the early tunes, the band was spot on. Considering these guys have been together now some 40 years, and the original members are in their sixties, they performed with a cohesive energy that took me back to my youth! They were solid!
The idea of having two artists join together, opening and closing the show in unison, was a good one. My wife watched DVD 1. I watch DVD 2. We're both more than happy with this DVD. We got our money's worth!』
(Amazing group of musicians) 『I was very impressed with the quality of the bands, as well as the overall quality of the Blu-ray disc.
』
(yeahh....this is one of the good ones.....) 『Yeah this is one of the better EWAF...better sound quality and not a bad mix with Chicargo......have purchased another EWAF dvd and this one tops my 1st choice....... Good purchase.....Eps.』
(Great Concert for those that remember!) 『Just what we need, another bunch of aging rockers from the 60's and 70's trying to cash in on the nostalgia boom. Well, that's what it seems on the surface. Delve a little deeper and spend some time with this Blu-ray DVD and you'll discover a musical excellence that transcends time and generational change. Both groups have an infusion of youth (not surprising as some of the original members have gone to that great concert in the sky) but maintain the original sound albiet with much greater fidelity than was originally possible with 70's audio technology. There are two reasons to buy this Blu-ray DVD, firstly the picture and sound quality are almost reference level (I own a HiFi store and use it for demo and system set ups), secondly the musical performance is just brilliant with band members of both groups interchanging and singing each others songs. The only reason I gave 4 stars is that there are some lulls in the performance although judicious use of the remote can soon dispatch them. All in all this is a disk that anyone with a musical bent and good audio/video system should consider adding to their collection. Regardless of musical taste, you won't be disappointed.』
(Chicago and Earth Wind&Fire: Live at the Greek) 『Energetic performances and superb pacing by Chicago and Earth Wind&Fire, enhanced by first rate Blu-Ray sound and picture add up to one of the greatest home video concerts ever made!
An absolute must for your collection! You'll feel like your sitting right in the audience in the Greek Theater on a warm summer evening. Let me correct that. You'll be up on your feet like everybody else in the audience!』 『The '70s and '80s rule as two of the most popular bands from that era join forces onChicago/Earth Wind&Fire - Live at the Greek Theatre, a two-disc, nearly three-hour concert recorded in Los Angeles in 2004. These groups scored dozens of hits in their heydays, and if neither has come up with much of anything that's new in the past two decades, the sold-out audience at the Greek Theatre could hardly care less. Both Chicago and Earth, Wind&Fire, have soldiered on despite key personnel changes over the years (Chicago bassist-singer Peter Cetera and EWF founder Maurice White are long gone, and much missed); here they perform energetic and tasteful versions of everything from "Make Me Smile," "I'm a Man," and "Saturday in the Park" (Chicago) to "That's the Way of the World," "Fantasy," and "Serpentine Fire" (EWF), among many others, to rapturous response. Nothing too exciting about all of that--in fact, it's a bit like witnessing a couple of very skilled tribute bands at work--but there are a few surprises, as when Chicago keyboardist-singer Bill Champlin takes the lead on "After the Love Has Gone" (which he co-wrote) and EWF singer Philip Bailey returns the favor on Chicago's "If You Leave Me Now." The highlights are the first and last portions of the show, when the two bands (complete with horn sections) share the stage for "September," "25 or 6 to 4," "Shining Star," and more, displaying genuine joy at performing together and generating a huge, infectious sound delivered with high definition visuals and digital audio.--Sam Graham』 『Studio: Image Entertainment Release Date: 08/12/2008』
IPhone 3G used's review (Great movie) 『I really enjoy this movie and always have. It is colorful and the music is great. A wonderful family movie which is becoming slim these days.』
(Original spanish dubbing finally in this edition! 2008) 『I'm happy to say that the new 2008 Special Edition has the original Spanish audio with German Valdez "Tin Tan" and other of the most exceptional dubbing actors of all time, despite what Amazon's technical details say. It is truly a joy to revisit my childhood by hearing the original voices I heard so long ago, with masterful performances that make you yearn for the golden age of Disney dubbing in Mexico.
Esta nueva edición de 2008 contiene el doblaje original con Tin Tán en el papel de Thomas O'Maley, además de muchas otras voces maravillosas con las que todos crecimos en Latinoamérica viendo las películas ahora clásicas de Walt Disney.』
(decent just decent) 『I saw this movie the first time and i thought it would be really neat. i was so psyched because it took place in paris and i had seen a lot of advertising for it. but this is like a 101 dalmatians wanna-be failure! it is loaded with annoying songs that you wonder when they'll be done and get back to the dialogue. also there are plenty of bizarre details such as why does everyone speak with a quasi-English accent when they supposedly are from paris? why does the mouse hang out with cats? why are there 3 colors of cats from a white cat who never mentions any father figure who helped to produce them? why do the white cats have similar personalities and the brown cats as well? i think this movie is just lacking too much and there's really nothing to save it. it was okay. just okay.』
(FANTASTIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) 『I bought this for my granddaughter along with two other videos, this one is her favorite. She is only two but she knows what a funny movie is.』
(Classic) 『My 22 month old daughter loves the songs in this movie!! She is always singing them!』 『Duchess and her three kittens are enjoying the high life with their devoted human mistress until the wicked butler Edgar, with his eyes on a big inheritance, decides to dope them and get them out of the picture. How can these fragile creatures cope in the unfamiliar countryside and the meaner streets of Paris? Only by meeting the irrepressible alley cat O'Malley, a rough diamond with romance in his heart. After they get a taste of the wide dangerous world, he guides them home, and Edgar gets his just desserts at the wrong end of a horse. As always, it's really the voices rather than the animation that are the heart of the Disney magic: Phil Harris is brilliant as O'Malley, Eva Gabor as Duchess is... well... Eva Gabor; but perhaps the most memorable turns are by Pat Buttram and George Lindsay, who turn the old hounds Napoleon and Lafayette into a couple of bumbling Southern-fried rednecks. Their scenes with Edgar, and the musical numbers with Scat Cat and his cool-dude band, are classic. Most striking about seeingThe Aristocatsnow is how deeply Disney's style of animation has changed since this was at the cutting edge in 1970. Perhaps the nostalgic, dated feel are just a result of being plonked down in Belle Epoque Paris, but the illustrations are fussier (a pity) and the animation and overall pace much less frenetic (sometimes a relief) than in more recent efforts such as Aladdin.--Richard Farr』
IPhone 3G used's review (Absolutely awe inspiring movie.) 『Saw this when I was very young, maybe 9 or 10, and it somehow moved me in a visceral way that I simply cannot convey in words. But I never found out what it was called. With the memory of the powerful ending vaguely imprinted on my mind I vowed that I would one day find out the name of this movie. I have been clutching at straws for years trying to figure it out. Only recently did I find out, I'm now 25!
I have used the the Warner Brothers comment system on their website to try push for a DVD release. It MUST happen. AMAZON, if you can hear me, please do ALL you can.
DVD NEEDED! DVD NEEDED! DVD NEEDED! DVD NEEDED!』
(Need this on DVD) 『I can't beleive this hasn't comeout on DVD. It's a classic and one that I would love to watch, but with new technology and no VCR, I can't. Classic, romantic, and touching film! A must see. Timeless』
(Touching) 『Saw this for the first time when I was a kid (the release date was near my birth, that's how old this film is for me), and even though the entirety of the film didn't "hit me" because I - a kid - couldn't grasp all of it, it still made an impression in my memory. I could still remember the longing and emotion in that resounding theme song even after half a decade when I saw it again on TV later. I'm not big on "chick flicks" (don't even like Titanic) but this is one of those that are just really great. It really should be released on DVD and perhaps with a couple more languages for subtitles and I hope someone that could make that happen would see all these reviews, which obviously are only a marginal amount of all the people that wish to see that happen.』
(Enlightening) 『This has been my favorite video for the past thirteen years. My everyday thinking, as well as thought of action, has been altered ever since. It gives a perspective of the many pieces of life, and how they are put together, in accordance with, why one thinks the way he/she does. If you believe in reincarnation, true love, or just a sucker for beautiful love stories, I highly recommend this movie for you.』
(A Truly Wonderful Story) 『This is an favorite of mine, and I can't understand why it hasn't come out on DVD. It's one of the slyest told stories I've ever seen, with more and more connections surfacing after each viewing. It is clearly a New-Age (or New-Age-Like) perspective, but it came out before that had become a worn-out, and frankly, boorish thing. Although it flirts with becoming overly sweet, it is so inventive and fresh, in every respect, that it never quite gets there. I don't know why this never became a classic. If you liked "The Five People You Meet in Heaven" you will probably love, Made in Heaven.』 『InMade in Heaven, Timothy Hutton plays a young guy in 1946 who's just been dumped by his girl and decides to go to California. On his way, he rescues a family from a car that's driven into a lake--and drowns in the process. Of course, he finds himself in Heaven, and there he meets Kelly McGillis, a soul who's never been born on Earth. The two fall in love. Just as they're about to get married--just for the fun of it, since by the rules of Heaven they're already married--McGillis gets sent to Earth to be born. Hutton pleads with Emmett, a figure who may or may not be God, who finally agrees to give Hutton 30 years on Earth to find her and continue their love. This 1987 Alan Rudolph film teeters on the edge of absolute cheesiness and steps over that edge at moments, but mostly it miraculously maintains a delicate, sweet, and affecting tone. McGillis is good, but Hutton is superb, demonstrating an honest charisma that makes him engaging even when he's being a jerk. The depiction of Heaven avoids the patronizing, overdone joyfulness that too many movies fall into. Though the idea sounds like pure saccharine,Made in Heavenconsistently sidesteps the obvious and comes up with something genuine. Rudolph is a prolific but erratic director (his stronger movies includeChoose Me,Trouble in Mind,The Moderns, andAfterglow), but this is one of the ones worth seeing.Made in Heavenfeatures Debra Winger and an uncredited Ellen Barkin, as well as cameos by rock stars Neil Young, Ric Ocasek, and Tom Petty.--Bret Fetzer』
IPhone 3G used's review (where's the DVD) 『Why can I not get a DVD for this movie? I have been waiting for years for a DVD and still nothing.』
(Jones in SELF-INDULGENT Mode) 『On the strength of the consistent rave reviews here of this Tommy Lee Jones project - he co-wrote, directed, and starred in the film - we got this over-priced video. Talk about the sensation of being from another planet! We were amazed to discover that the movie is truly awful (read: AWFUL). Jones was clearly worshipping at his own altar, with incessant lingering close-ups of his grinning face. Like Costner's self-glorifying DANCES WITH WOLVES, THE GOOD OLD BOYS rarely sports a single frame which does not showcase Jones. Neither star is sufficiently talented as an actor or as a director to carry an entire film, yet both are compelled to take their places on both sides of the camera. When Jones isn't chewing the scenery with those all-too-exposed teeth (the man literally never closes his lips from start to finish), he is directing the wasted Spacek in a thankless role as a frustrated spinster. More offensive than Spacek's painfully over-the-top girlishness is the notion that ANY woman - frustrated or otherwise - would pursue an unbathed, aging, penniless, dim-witted drifter whose ludicrously exaggerated accent could scrape paint off a fender.』
(The Good Old Boys) 『I actually bought this for my husband to read, but found I enjoyed it almost as much as he did. He (my husband) is a great fan of good westerns, and liked this book so well, he had me order the vhs tape of the same name.』
(Tommy Lee Had Me at "Cow-ology") 『Who could resist a movie that opens with a salty old cowpoke complaining to his horse, "Biscuit", that he's weary of "cow-ology"? That short monologue sets the tone for a film that is much like its main character: simple and appealing. Having grown up in West Texas, I can recall characters exactly like those portrayed by Tommy Lee Jones and Sam Shepherd. It's apparent that GOOD OLD BOYS was directed (by Jones) with genuine affection for the material. Jones, along with Sam Shepherd and Sissy Spacek are wonderful. But the supporting players are just as great, including a youngster by the name of Matt Damon.
If anyone at TNT reads this, please release a DVD version of GOOD OLD BOYS and include a commentary by its director, Mr.Jones and his fine cast.』
(An Unrecognized Classic.) 『This is simply a great movie....a classic that has gone unnoticed. Why isn't this on DVD?』
