(Absolutely Great Pan) 『This pan heats so evenly and well that I'm able to cook at a much lower setting than with other pans. Clean-up is easy if you've used oil or cooking spray--just a little dish soap gets everything with no scrubbing necessary. The pan's capacity is just right for making a casserole or stew for six but it's not as deep as a traditional dutch oven. I handle with care around my ceramic cooktop because of the weight and because sliding the pan could cause scratches. The color reminds me of "coppertone" kitchen applicances from the 60s, a nice flashback for a Boomer. This pan IS heavy but that will not come as a surprise to anyone who's cooked with cast iron. It's a great pan for either stovetop or oven. My gosh, in today's world of a "Global Economy" maybe the Army is the only place left where they care about what happens to the individual consumer. (Poor quality product) 『I really wanted this color wheel to work. I bought the other one from Early Years when I bought my aluminum tree but it is so dim that it doesn't illuminate the tree at all. This one is much brighter, but the construction is so poor that I am afraid to plug it in. The wires inside it are visibly frayed and the electrical socket for the bulb wobbles around in the light bulb housing. It didn't break in shipping -- the packaging was perfect.

(A flash from the past) 『This is the cheep Chinese 2000's version of the cheep 1960's Japanese version of the colour wheel my family had when I was a kid. It goes perfectly with the aluminum Christmas tree I bought this year and has proved an endless stream of question from friends and family who are under 40 or so.
It's hardware is modernized and simplified from the original and had work well for one Christmas season. A canned geared AC motor turns a shaft that in turn rotates the plastic colour filter.
The colors are OK at night but not to be seen in daylight with the recommended lamp (40 watt spot).

That such an important personage as the Pope could become emeshed (incognito) in the lives of ordinary village people is a romantic notion, and yet it works, as we see him reluctant to abandon his new friends and concerns while his staff in Rome struggle to put a face on his absence from the Vatican. The Pope has gone AWOL! And yet he is more of a Pope than any of his predcessors as he concerns himself with his people's pain. My goodness, Tom Conti is attractive, in a way that in no way impugns his role as Pontif. He loves, and he never forgets who he is. Please watch this. And Please, would somebody produce the DVD???.』

(Wonderful spiritual journey) 『A friend recommended this to me years ago, and when I saw the video, I loved it. Later my wife bought the VHS for me, but I hope that it will be released on DVD one day.
Although listed as a comedy--and it does have a strong humorous flavor throughout--it is a powerful drama about spiritual growth, hope, despair, love, and self respect. Reminiscent somewhat of "Shoes of the Fisherman," starring Anthony Quinn, from several years earlier, this is the story of a Pope's returning to his roots of being a pastor and helper of mankind--something he found difficult, if not impossible, to do in the Vatican. Somewhat by accident, he embarked on a spiritual journey and once again proved that he was a true priest of God.
If you haven't seen this movie, please do so. It is somewhat of a "sleeper" and may be difficult to find. Quite frankly, I don't know why it didn't get more visibility.』

You'll notice no smoke is coming out of people's mouth during the outdoor scenes. I think this was before they could Computer Graphic it in. I thought the movie was ok if you have nothing better to watch. It is better than "Junior". lol』

Arnold Schwarzenegger, Rita Wilson, Jake Lloyd, Phil Hartman, Sinbad, and the rest of the cast, have carried out their performances wonderfully. Very well written and very well presented, the movie is without a doubt guaranteed to provide more than just a few laughs during the holiday season. The setting, the plot, the dialogues, and the music are all good. In conclusion, Jingle All the Way is a movie definitely worth watching and one to seriously consider adding to your movie collection if you are a Schwarzenegger fan. 』

The main reason that I like this movie is because of the way they portray New York's best sights like Central Park, etc. Whereas the first movie kept most of the scenes at his home, this one explores other scenery. And the cast is hilarious. My favorite character (aside from Kevin)is the bird/homeless woman who ends up being a sweetheart. I always choke up at the end when she and Kevin hug it out. The latter sequence is even worse than the first film in terms of violence inflicted on the two villains (director Chris Columbus, who also made the first film, can't seem to emphasize the slapstick over the graphic effects of the fight).
