(Mmmmm Good!) 『I have 2 Maltese dogs that are 2 years old. They just love these chew n' clean bones. My daughter actually found these on Amazon and purchased a few for them for Christmas. I've since placed an order for more. One of my maltese dogs is a chewer, so this is the perfect toy to keep him busy. Most of their toys are demolished, but these hold up very well. Once she got up the nerve to grab it with her mouth, it unfortunately was all over in less than 48 hours. I read that this was not a chew toy, and my dog didn't actually chew it, however she would pick it up and bite the knobs which came off. I bought this because it stated that this was dog-proofed and reinforced, which in my opinion is not the case. The glue that held the knobs on was cheap and looked aged. I tried to pull a knob off myself before I threw this away, and sure enough with very little effort it popped right out. This is not worth your money unless you have a toy-sized dog, and even then I still wouldn't recommend this due to the choking hazard this can obviously cause. I only rated this with one star because my dog did enjoy it while it lasted.』

Maybe it's just my specific product, but the picture quality is really, really bad. You can hardly say it's a color monitor. Even dark blue colors look white. It makes me wonder how they created the product images...
The angle of the camera is ridiculous. The camera must be placed in front of the person to see him right. I thought I could place it aside the door, but then you will not see your guest. They say it has tiltable camera lens, but actually, you can tilt it only vertically. Changing the position horizontally ends up with a picture of your guest profile.
There is no option to change the volume of the doorbell or to disable it.
To make it worse, when you turn on the camera, it makes a sound on the outside unit, making sure the person know that you are looking at him...
It is so bad that I've decided to put it aside until some other use arise.

The field is completely washed out and software adjustments don't correct. (Impressive) 『This was my first foray into CCTV and I must say the functionality of this little camera was impressive. Prior to this, the only familiarity I had with security cameras was watching the grainy, B&W time delayed image from security cameras in commercial settings. The SVAT CV65 camera with color display, night vision and full motion video is splendid, at least to my perception.
Installation was a simple affair with the mounting bracket fastened with three screws, and the 60' of cable being more than long enough for the job (the SVAT brand 60' extension cable is also available if longer reach is required). The output end uses RCA connectors so be sure your display device has those; I had to buy an RF Modulator to hook the camera up to my television set.
In the daytime, the picture is crisp and clear with excellent color contrast. Another review said the colors were substandard, but on mine they were "picture" perfect. What's really a cool feature is the night vision. It's rather fun to watch the monitor at dusk and observe the display slowly changing from color to monochrome as the infrared LED's kick in. What I'm monitoring is only about 8-9 feet from the mounting location so the camera's purported 10-15' night range is more than adequate for my needs.
Supposedly the camera also has audio capabilities, but there isn't much of any noise in the application I'm using it for so I can't evaluate that aspect.
All in all, I'm impressed.
For a CCTV system well under $100.00, you can't go wrong with the SVAT CV65.』

(Sure BEATS Wireless!) 『After a failure in less than 3 weeks with a NEW wireless ASTAK Multi Camera system I have learned a lot. Maybe I should list them as I found them. ----With the wireless, every foot away from the receiver AND the positioning of its antenna severely effects the performance. It is so important, it can cause complete loss of any usable bright daytime image from reaching your monitor even in a small distance of just 60 feet or LESS.
----If you have any type of wireless network in your home for computer with Cable or DSL, GOOD LUCK! If I ever wanted to view any cam, I had to 1st literally disconnect my network&unplug current to it to get the interference to stop enough to view any image I could recognize.
----Lines of resolution. Important or not? Well I suppose it is important but let me say this....This SVAT CV65 camera with its puny 330 lines is FAR more clear AND vivid outdoors than my Wireless ASTAK was with its touted 420 lines. And this is factoring in the BEST picture I could ever get with the wireless after I went around disconnecting and disabling my entire wireless internet network! I almost did not buy this unit as I wanted a clear image. Sure glad I tried this camera! I also have NO interference of ANY type no matter how or WHERE I place this camera. This is over 1/2 the battle already resolved.
----Audio. I see nothing here about this camera having audio capabilities but it DOES. I haven't found the microphone yet and it is NOT as clear or good as the ASTAK was but it is there and does work. I personally consider this as useful as the visual since I want to HEAR any audio at my front gate before wandering out to it unarmed/unprepared. If I hear something discussed by a seemingly harmless person, its just another layer of security.
----Durability? Brand new camera so I will update as time goes by. My Wireless Unit by ASTAK lasted under 3 weeks and the receiver failed! NO customer service info, I found them on the internet and got some person who barely spoke English telling me to "mail it all to them, they would try to fix it"....Sure thing. Luckily, I was able to return it where I bought it for a full refund. Exchange? Yeah right!
----Night Vision: I have this camera facing my front gate. It sits back only about25 feet from it so at this distance, I have EXCELLENT vision even in pitch black conditions. NOT tested at distances beyond that. As I have motion detected lighting that lights when called for, see no issues in this area if I were to add other camera's later to expand my views of other areas.
----Customer Service. After the above experience, I contacted SVAT by both phone AND E-mail. What a difference! PERFECT English, they knew what they were talking about, were helpful, and responded to BOTH my E-Mail and my phone calls. I have to admit, it was a bit unfair to test them this way but after my nightmare with Wireless and ASTAK, I wanted some security. It is just such a pleasure to finally find a company that I enjoy dealing with. For the record, the product states "MADE IN CHINA". So will it last? Will update the good, the bad, OR the ugly. Not yet released IPhone 3G used's review (Just okay, mostly disappointing) 『In the very slim chance that Disney reads these reviews, I'd like to pile on to other criticisms in the hope that the Dawn Treader doesn't make the same mistakes. As a huge C.S. Lewis and Narnia fan, I was so disappointed in Caspian. Same reasons as many other reviewers: too many unnecessary liberties taken; little dialogue, so very little way to connect with and enjoy the characters; too grim; etc. At the end of the movie, I felt like I didn't get to spend any time with the characters b/c most of the movie was some sort of battle.
Sure, there were a few good things. Reepicheep was great; so was the DLF. The scenery and landscapes were beautiful. Some of the battles (or parts of battles) were enjoyable and had a sense of honor and bravery. But that's about it. Caspian was okay, a little boring. The posturing between Peter and Caspian was silly, as was the flicker of romance between Caspian and Susan. Not enough of Aslan. Not enough of Lucy. No lessons. Nothing anywhere near the charm of Mr. Tumnus.
You know how at the end of some movies (good ones) you have that feeling like you want more of a good thing? You wish the movie would go on and on? (That's why I ripped through all the Narnia books in the first place.) Well, after watching Caspian, I had a feeling of wanting more of what I knew existed in the book but didn't come through in the movie...it was a yearning for what could have been instead of what was delivered. It was a huge disappointment and a real shame. And I truly hope the Dawn Treader can deliver what the first movie did, and what the books all do....a real connection to the characters and a reason to start thinking about what it means to believe in something and to stand up for your beliefs. I don't think that notion is incompatible with making a block-buster of a movie.』
(A Good Movie, Though I Liked The First One Better) 『First off, I'll comment on the spread of the reviews. The higher star rating, the more votes, which means more like it than dislike it. On the other hand, the dispersement of votes shows that it was not an overwhelming fan favorite. I suggest for that reason that you do not take this review by itself in deciding whether to purchase this.
Let me give the basics. It is based on the second of C. S. Lewis' Chronicles of Narnia. It has been over 20 years since I read this one, but from my memory this movie was not as faithful to the original as the first of the series was. A lot of those changes were effective for a movie. However, I think there was a little more romance than in the book, and more dealing with vengeance.
There were two great lessons in the book. One of them, dealing with Reepicheep (who stole the show, even though he's just a . . . sorry, my thought was not very original), was intact (after you see the movie or read the book, you'll notice the irony of the word "intact"). The other was juggled in the plot and lost the strength it had in the book.
The special effects were great. My favorite was the shot of an arrow speeding through the air that looked like the arrow was standing still with the background moving.
Can you take your kids with you to this movie? Sure, but I think they would have enjoyed "The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe" better.

(A Teen's Review: Very poor adaption) 『Warning you up front there may be what people would consider a spoiler or two within this review.
After watching the original movie, "the Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe," I had high expectations for the movie. Especially after I read the book and saw how well they had adapted it into movie form. I even went out and bought the entire Narnian series so that I could read the story before hand and have an idea of the movie plot. ... ... ... What happened? It was as though they took the characters and a few chunks of the story and slapped it together in hopes of making a decent movie. And let me tell you, they failed, quite miserably. The way that they changed important pieces of the plot frustrated me, while other story lines were nearly left out altogether (For instance, they only hint at the part of the book where Lucy sees Aslan and eventually follows him despite the others protest. Then one-by-one the others begin to see him. I have always thought that to be one of the more significant plots of Prince Caspian). And then, then they add senseless plots like when they decided to invade the castle. Though admittedly Peter did "need" that part of the movie to wake him up.
Which brings me to the other major part of the movie that just annoyed me to no end. They made Peter an absolute jerk. He and Caspian were never rivals, and Peter NEVER had any intent to take over/rule/or give orders to Caspian. He essentially saw Caspian as the leader because he would be once they won the battle. Oh, and don't get me started on that ridiculous "potential romance" thing they had between Susan and Caspian (how was that even remotely necessary?)
There were few redeeming qualities of this movie, but they still did exist. I did like the fact that when the witch was summoned (though this technically never happened)Edwin was the one to "destroy" her. It was a nice touch of irony. And then there was the rat and dwarf, who's names escaped me at the moment, which made the movie bearable to sit through. And, that's about it.
I might have enjoyed this movie had I not read the book in advance, but I'll never know. I guess if you haven't read the actual story then you could potentially think it once of the best movies of all time. But I definitely would not recommend this to someone who read and loved the book, it'll probably annoy you just as much as it annoyed me.
I'd also like to note something else - I saw this movie twice. This was only because I was giving it the benefit of the doubt. I thought that perhaps going in a second time without those high expectations would make the movie more enjoyable. Sadly, it did not.』

(4 1/2 Stars...Fast-paced and Fun) 『My childhood love of books was first ignited by the Chronicles of Narnia. I was swept away into worlds fanciful, dangerous, and often layered in symbolism. Until a few years ago, I never thought films could capture what I experienced in my own imagination.
"The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe" was a pleasant surprise. Talking animals, the faun, and the magic of the wardrobe were all brought to life with amazing detail and warmth--or, in the case of the White Witch, chill. Despite enjoying the movie, it seemed to lack a bit of the grittier side I remembered from my own reading.
"Prince Caspian" adds that element I found missing in the first movie. Yes, it deviates from the original book quite a bit, but in all honesty, this was my least favorite book of the seven chronicles. Although liberties are taken, I believe they stay true to the heart of C.S. Lewis's writings, and they tell a stronger, more epic story. The romance element is not as heavy-handed as some have implied, and it does seem slightly forced, and yet it too seems like something possible for sons of Adam and daughters of Eve who are getting older in their Narnian roles.
From fast-paced chases, attacks, escapes, and eventually a large-scale battle with some fun effects, "Prince Caspian" is great entertainment. I can't wait for the release of "Voyage of the Dawn Treader," possibly my favorite of this series of books. Sure, there will be parts that challenge my own interpretation of the story, but there will be others--such as Reepicheep, in this one--that live up to and even surpass my expectations. They've been summoned back to help Prince Caspian (Stardust's Ben Barnes, resembling a young, cultured Keanu Reeves), the rightful heir to the throne who's become the target of his power-hungry uncle, King Mraz (Sergio Castellitto). And he's not the only one threatened: Mraz's people, the Telmarines, have pushed all the Narnians--the talking animals, the centaurs and other beasts, the walking trees--to the brink of extinction. Despite some alpha-male bickering, Peter and Caspian agree to fight Mraz alongside the remaining Narnians, including the dwarf Trumpkin (Peter Dinklage) and the swashbuckling mouse Reepicheep (voiced by Eddie Izzard). (Also appearing is Warwick Davis, who was in Willow and the 1989 BBC Prince Caspian.) But of course they most of all miss the noble lion, Aslan, who would have never let this happen to Narnia if he hadn't disappeared. Prince Caspian is epic, evoking memories of Peter Jackson's Lord of the Rings films. (Some of the battle elements may seem too familiar, but they were in Lewis's book.) And it's appropriate for kids (Reepicheep could have come out of a Shrek movie), though the tone is dark and there is a lot of death, albeit bloodless. After two successful films, Disney and Walden Media's franchise has proved successful enough that many of the characters are scheduled to return in The Voyage of the Dawn Treader. --David Horiuchi

Knowing that we are actually backdated here., the LOST DVD set is the only things i could rely on to watch the show's season in advance.
I couldn't wait for the pre-order online, so i just got myself the retail DVD set last month from a local store, which happens to be the AUS version of this DVD set.
Like any of the LOST fan., i was couldn't wait to know what will be happening in season 4.., i was hoping for some excitement, and it indeed didn't disappoint me at all..
The plot and stories totally blow my mind and it was all great and unexpected..!!!
Loves the bonus features and Easters eggs too.., it's worthy to support the show all that long after all!
One thing though, like some other reviewers here, i think it's kinda short for a season, there should be atleast 18 episodes for this season and the price should be cheaper than other LOST season DVD.
Other than that, it's still an awesome season for any LOST fan, and a must have for any LOST fan!

And really, who was the guy in the box.....? Well, you find out the last scene of the last episode. You learn how Jack degraded in his time back home and you see the progress from a few years back to the present, or just about the present.
Setting us up for this season? What happened to those on the boat, are they alive? How about the island, where did it go? So where is the island originally from or part of, my thought recently, Atlantis. Well you have old statues in places that we saw in previous seasons and the Dharma Initiatives logo looks a little like out of a Jules Verne novel.
Anyway, we had three new additions to the show in season four and we got a little closer to what the 'Thing' is. Still, there are some questions to be answered. Hopefully season 5 will lead to a season 6. Lost is still a great show with an incredible cast.』

(A Must Have) 『The first thing I am curious about is the '9 December' release date for Lost 4... I walked into our local CD/DVD store the weekend before last and found it in the new release section. And no, it is not a bootleg of some sort. My wife and I had not watched Season 4, as it airs on pricey satelite tv here, and we waited patiently for the DVD box. We ended up ploughing through all of it (special features included) by Monday evening.
If I have one criticism it is that the season seemed quite short.
The filming is superb (It must be simply stunning to watch on a Blu Ray system) and as always, had us on the cliched edge of our seat.....
