It's just very nice how the engines work together, work out their problems together, and support each other along the way. It's particularly interesting when they show the breakdown train getting James out of the mud and onto the track again after those bad freight cars shove him off the track. They get taught a lesson in this video and it's quite nice. When the trains are getting prepared to meet the Queen, then the really shine.

Let me start by saying that they didn't put one of the greatest stories of all time on here, Thomas Comes To Breakfast. That one was a perfect Thomas episode. Other ones that should have been on here include Thomas Gets Tricked, Trust Thomas, Thomas and Bertie's Great Race, Thomas Goes Fishing, Double Trouble, Better Late Than Ever, The Runaway, I could go on for ever but I'm sure you get my point. Thomas&Stepney and A New Friend For Thomas should not have been on here because Thomas is not the main character in both of these even though the title might have his name in it. I had to give this one 4 stars because of the numurous amount of Thomas stories that could have been on here and weren't. A part 2 of Best of Thomas might be needed. Anyway, this is a great video to buy because it does have some great Thomas moments. Certainly not at the same level as 'A Christmas Carol' (Alistar Sim), 'Miracle on 34th St.' (John Payne, Maureen O'Hara), 'A Christmas Story', and other well-produced movies. The story-line is nice; the only problem- it's not developed enough. I would certainly recommend reading the book first- it is BEAUTIFUL! The characters are described in-depth, whereas the movie just 'skims' the personalities of the actors. Loretta Switt (of the TV series M*A*S*H*) does a credible job, but I think if the producers would have tried to delve into the characters more, as well as alloted more time for the movie, it very well COULD have become a modern classic. Still, a nice edition to one's Christmas collection. But, be sure to read the book!』

A 9-year-old Fairuza Balk makes her debut as Grace's daughter and narrates the story centering on the seemingly parentless troupe of ragtag ruffians. Of course, the town believes the play is hopelessly lost, but this is Christmas Eve and miracles do happen. Kids can find meaning in the Bible's tale and the Herdmans certainly can bring a fresh take on the age-old story. (Mesmerizing and educational) 『My 19 month old has never been remotely interested in TV, but this video captured her. The first thing she says when she gets up in the morning is "See Teletubbies." She sings along with the tubbies DELIGHTEDLY and adores the Miss Muffet sequence. The laughter of the baby sun sends her into fits of amused shrieking. The video is not repetitive in the way the TV show and is genuinely educational. There are some boring bits, like an incomprehensible British child reading the Gingerbread Boy. My daughter waits in frustration for this to end to return to the Teletubbies. Hopefully she is learning patience. I recommend this video 80%, based on the content and the fact that we now have previously unknown free time. I am withholding the last 20% because I can see my daughter's interest in books has waned dramatically since we got this video.』

The Teletubbies are easy to like and have appeal to young children. My son enjoyed them until he was about two and a half and I find my daughter is moving on from their shows at about the same age.
They sing and dance and talk in simple terms. They play and enjoy life. In this video they concentrate on Nursery Rhymes while they sing and dance. The little skits are centered around nursery rhymes as well. This particular video is one of my favorites as well as a favorite of my children.
The segments are short which means you have a good stopping point at about 10 minute breaks. This helps control how much tv your children watch.

IPhone 3G used's review (Good water filter) 『This unit was easy to setup and works well. The water taste changed for the better and the smell of the water is changed. I use this in conjuction with a brita water filter. I try not to buy bottled water and the combination of the brita and water guardian help in reducing the number of disposable plastic bottles. Considering bottled water quality is questionable and water quality locally is good, using local tap water to satisfy thirst is considerably cheaper using this beefy filter.
In terms of water filtration, it is difficult for a laymen to tell the difference between filters but using the filter definitely reduces oder and changes taste.
The reason for the 4 is like the previous reviewer, I had one of the attachments that diverts water fail on me. I will have to try and call them to get that fix, but overall water quality is improved.』
