(Good performance; bad filming) 『This is the kind of filming made by amateurs or people who do not know anything about music. The Moody Blues (without founding members Mike Pinder and Ray Thomas) perform all their great songs in a 2005 show. The problem is elsewhere: without any purpose, the camera is moving almost all the time and can not concentrate on a single thing. The editing is excessive as well: each shot last just about five seconds (see for instance the intro for "Isn't life strange?", with about ten shots from various angles only for the opening flute solo). It is impossible to concentrate on a singer or a chord progression. I can not imagine a worst scenario for such a good performance spoiled by too much technique and useless visual effects. Undoubtly a very good performance by the Moodies; but a very bad filming creates a mess.

(Moody Blues still rocking) 『The last time I saw the Moody Blues in concert was 1986. While they are older, they still can rock with the best of them. This Blu-Ray is one for every fan to own. In 1986 they still had Ray Thomas playing the flute, but he retired from the band and is now replaced by Norda Mullen who does an excellent job.
The song selection is great, "Lovely to See You", "Tuesday Afternoon","Lean on Me", "The Voice","I know you're out there somewhere", "Isn't Life Strange", "Ride my See Saw", "Question", "The Story In Your Eyes", "I'm Just A Singer", "Steppin' In A Slide Zone", "Talking Out Of Turn", "Higher and Higher", "The Actor", "Nights In White Satin" and a few other lesser known songs. There are twenty songs in all.
The sound is just great, and the Blu-Ray has PCM, Dolby 5.1 and DTS-HD 5.1 encodings on it. The video is 1080i wide-screen 1.78:1. The video of the band moves from member to member throughout the songs, with multiple angles throughout the whole presentation. The only disappointment is an overall lack of extras on the disk. I thought I'd give it a shot. We watched the first DVD (I agree with other reviewers...2 DVD's are definitely unnecessary). It was interesting, I suppose. Our baby was about three months old at the time (maybe four??). She still had her fussy moments, but not nearly as bad as those first couple months...and she's really a good, happy baby overall. We recognized her cries for about a week or two, then either it was hard to tell or maybe we just got lazy about it. Now, at 6 months, her signals are more whines than anything. Her only crying now is usually in the carseat.』

First it comes in both English&Spanish audio versions. This is a rare feature with children's titles, but a must have for our family. If any of you are thinking about teaching your child a second language, watching cartoons is the easiest way for them to pick it up. My daughter understands more Spanish then I've ever spoken at home because of these "Bonus" language tracks included.
Second, it is an actual movie with total run time of 70 minutes. This is wonderful for those parents who might need a few minutes of peace and quiet every now&then. I hate buying a feature and it turns out to be 4-30 minute TV episodes, which actually translates to be 4-23 minute episodes. My daughter loses interest after the first episode and never fully returns to enjoy the entire thing. This feature offers a warm story line based on bravery, loveable characters, and good quality graphics.
And finally, I loved the price. I bought it on Amazon.com for under $10 which now a days is just as rare as Spanish. I always regret paying full price of $19.99 for a brand new DVD only to find my 2 year-old using the new DVD as her new play toy. It's kind of hard to take away baby's new Barbie movie from baby or teach them why scratches are bad for playability. (I hope you parents out there understand what I'm trying to say.) In conclusion, this is a great movie for a great price.』

(My girls love it!) 『My girls, ages 4 and 2, really like this movie. They find the Fungi (the "bad guys") a little scary. They also point out that Laverna is really mean. The Fungi are gross-looking (in my opinion) and kind of creepy. Other than that, the movie has a good message about doing what is right, and about being unselfish.

I have 3 cameras currently (all different brands) and this one is the only one at 480 horiz lines and boy is it noticeable during daylight. It's just much crisper. I would't think 60 pixels would make that much of a difference but it does. Very clear, focused.
Another reviewer commented about it not being so good at night, and I have to agree, my q-See which does not look as good in daylight, is better at night. The night vision is acceptable, but I found it seemed a bit over-exposed in the center and underexposed on the fringes. Think of a circle about 75% of the screen area, with everything in the circle over-exposed (too bright) and everything outside under exposed
Overall, I still like this camera.』
