(Looking for an Alternative to Teflon? Keep Looking.) 『In order to achieve any sort of non-stick quality, it's necessary to use a lot of oil. Even when using a lot of oil, though, I often wound up with half of my food (e.g. hashbrowns or eggs) stuck to the pan. This pan made me dread cooking.
If you're looking for an alternative to teflon coated or infused pans, I highly recommend Martha Stewart's GreenPans. I had previously used Calphalon for many years, and I'm finding that GreenPans perform as well or better.
If you really want to cook with cast-iron, though... If you're having trouble flipping something, stop and wait. When the part of the food touching the pan has cooked thoroughly, it is more likely to "release" better. (It's similar to cooking on a hard-anodized surface.)』

(This DVD kept her attention) 『My daughter has been addicted to this video since she has been 4 months old. It is the only Baby Einstein DVD that she would watch from the beginning to the end without becoming distracted. To this day (she is almost 16 mo old) she will sit down and watch it and do the actions with the babies on the DVD. I think she likes this video because it uses babies throughout the DVD and not just puppets. I would recommend this DVD to any parent with a young baby. She learned to clap with the video and she reached with the video. It was neat to watch her try to interact with the kids. I would sit with her and watch it and encourage her to make the same movements.』
(Scared Baby) 『My daughter got this video at the age of 12 months. She was, and still now at the age of two, still frighten of this video. Everytime i put it on she runs out the room and starts crying. If i even say "Baby's First Moves" she starts saying "No" and leaves the room. I cannot find a reason why she isn't in love with this particular video. I am a collector of Baby Einstein and my daughter has been watching it since she was 3 months. This is the only video she does not like to watch. She can not wait for Einstein Pals to come out. Hopefully, this will be a hit.』

If someone had the DVD A Very Merry Poor Year, it contains this story of Pooh and Friends trying to get their wish list to Santa Claus before Christmas. Pooh and Piglet find the letter did not make it too Santa, so they try to give everyone their wished for gift. Of course everyone does not understand why Santa would give them gifts that are not really what they wished for. Pooh is reveled as Santa and explains how sorry he did not send the letter the right way. Christopher Robin comes bearing Santa's gifts and everyone learns the care about each other more than they care about presents and that Christmas is really about love and friendship.』
(A SIMPLY DELIGHTFUL SPECIAL FOR KIDS) 『This is one of the better Christmas specials for young kids and was a favorite of my teenager when he was little. Pooh, Christopher Robin and the rest of the gang all write a letter to Santa Claus to tell him what they want for Christmas. After mailing the letter, Pooh realizes he forgot to ask for a gift. The gang then try and get the letter back and send it north but it just blows back. They soon realize it's Christmas Eve and it's too late. Pooh then tries to disguise himself as Santa to give the gang a nice Christmas and eventually everything works out in the long run.
A very good special with heart and laughs. The animation is very good unlike the regular Pooh TV show of the 190's and the late Paul Winchell does the voice of Tigger. Delightful and kids will love it.』

(One of the best movies ever made) 『I grew up on Winnie the Pooh and it still remains one of my favorite series. The voice actors are wonderful, I always found Pooh's voice so soothing and calm. He reminded me of Mr. Rodgers who I loved, as I was never a fan of Sesame Street. Even though now I am an old teenager (I only thought a kid's review would be appropriate here)I still love this show and encourage kid's of all ages to watch it. When I first saw this special, I was only a few years old but I loved it. It is by far the best Pooh movie. A Christmas Classic for all ages (along with the snowman). It is so wonderful to have such great friends at pooh corner!』

I'm happy to report that Disney is now selling it on both DVD and VHS, albeit in pricey "teachers" editions. Afraid Amazon doesn't permit inclusion of links in reviews, but a quick google on Mathmagic Land should reveal the disney-go-com pages of interest.
Just ordered a copy over the phone -- for some odd reason they don't offer online ordering. However they also didn't have any problem with the fact that I'm not a teacher, and the phone call is free.
Not sure what their normal shipping times are -- the phone rep estimated a week or two for delivery. This might make somebody a great holiday gift.』

Seems to use a lot of electricity compared to the heat it puts out. Would be an OK buy if you can find it on sale for less than half the retail price.』
(So far this is a great little heater) 『After several disasters with space heaters dying on me with only a limited amount of use, I decided to buy this little heater at Best Buy last year with an extended warranty. I have used it off and on for several months and now that it is getting colder again this heater is getting a workout. It is mostly used in the bathroom but I have also used it in my bedroom several times recently, which is pretty large and does get very chilly and it does a great job.
It does shut off automatically when the temperature reaches the desired setting. The casing stays really cool which is far different than the radiator heaters that I am currently trying, they get HOT to the touch. It is very light weight and for light sleepers it runs very quiet except for the light click it makes when it shuts off or comes back on adjusting to the temp change. I would say the only cons for this little heater is that there is no safety shut off if it gets knocked over and the temperature setting is a bit of a guessing game since there is no actual numbers (65 70 75 etc.) to go by. This is reasonably easy to figure out though.
