It was just as bad, if not worse, since the colors don't show up--cleaning is no easy task. As other readers said, it's like painting with Vaseline. We had to SCRUB my daughter to get this stuff off, and wash and rewash her hair (she scratched with icky, greasy fingers). The kitchen table was a greasy mess, and the paint box was a greasy mess. The colors on paper were pretty, but after leaving them to dry out for a day, which they didn't, the counter was a greasy mess too.

(A big mess for a toddler.) 『I believe this product is recommended for a starting age of 3 as a mess-free alternative to traditional paints, markers, crayons etc. I was tempted to try it for my 2 1/2 year old who prefers crafts to playing with toys. The finger paints are really greasy, so I had some concern about it getting on clothing and furniture. Although it doesn't mark some surfaces with color the greasy substance neccesitates clean-up. The colors do not appear quickly. My daughter didn't have the patience to wait and see what would happen after applying it. Because the colors don't appear instantly the impulse, even for an adult, is to apply more than is recommended which results in a big greasy mess. My daughter did enjoy smearing the "paint" on but doesn't understand how to use the product sparingly; she uses way too much. Lastly, you will probably not want to keep these works of art because the greasy colors saturate the paper and bleed together over time.』

I've tried them myself and I agree. The lead is wonderfully soft, and therefore makes blending colors and pushing them into one another an ease to do.
The downside is that the lead is a little too soft, and makes it harder to get the colors smooth (it's easier to do with Crayola because Crayola has harder lead). I figured, if she's going to watch tv, might as well make use of the time. She's in taekwondo, so this video really helped reinforce the kicking and punching moves. What I loved was that they had lots of different kids. Boys, girls, younger, older, and some that had a little more chunk to them. It showed that any one can do it!
Bill Blanks is really motivating. It was nice to see him sweat too. I kept reassuring that you're suppose to get hot and sweaty. That's good! See, he is too!

As of the audio, it doesn't get any better than this. I don't think I ever heard a 5.1 surround mix so profound and clear at the same time, incredibly well balanced instrument-wise, a treat, simply.Extras are as wonderful as you'd expect it to be, a lot of lovely features, including bonus tracks from the Royal Albert Hall shows (which is from which the release takes its material). My final words on this are, definately, buy it. It's worth it.』

The sound is off the charts, the picture is fantastic and the performance is great. David Gilmour is as good as he ever was, perhaps even better. His voice has held up over the years and his very recognizable guitar style continues to raise goosebumps. Something I happened to notice about this particular concert is you never see cameraman, but there are shots being taken from every conceivable angle. Hats off to the producer. (Incredible) 『I just recently purchased this video on Blu-Ray, and I have to say, it is fantastic. I didn't actually expect the video quality to be that great, considering the fact that you need some pretty nice cameras to capture a very high definition picture. I was partially right, and I think it has a great deal to do with the lighting. Certain cameras at certain times with the right lighting look wonderful, where as other views of the concert look somewhat grainy. The picture quality is still great, and the lighting effects are mind blowing. With that said, I will now mention what I believe to be the most amazing part about this video, the audio. I can't speak for the DVD version, but the Blu Ray version has crystal clear audio. It literally sounds as if you are sitting in the audience, or maybe even better. Great picture and amazing audio would be worthless if the music itself wasn't also great, and it is. Some tracks worth noting: "Echoes" "Shine on you Crazy Diamond" "Comfortably Numb" "High Hopes" and "Coming Back to Life". If you are a Pink Floyd fan, I cannot see how you could be disappointed with any of these songs. Seeing Rick Wright do his thing on the keyboards, with such delicate perfection, smiling the entire time, makes this video worth purchasing alone. I cannot recommend this video more, if you are considering buying it, I suggest to stop thinking, and buy it now. If you have a high def output and surround sound, you are in for an unbelievable treat.』

I may agree with others on the right casting, but this was not my genre. I mean, I love watching ballet but I hated to see ballet connected with divorce, alcohol, sexual relationships before marriage, jealous, mean words and actions, and swearing words. It was a very ugly movie with a beautiful ballet. The dance was exquisite but I didn't enjoy it at all because I didn't like the characters at all. When my daughter covered her ears, I had to turn it off. The peace came back as soon as it was shut off. I picked this movie because it was on the government's pick list, but I don't think my Heavenly Father wants me to watch this again.』

A subplot involving a developing romance between the virginal Browne and Baryshnikov's womanizer makes for pretty window dressing. We rented this one from the library and she wanted to watch it over and over - I think there's just something magical about birthdays (and other holidays for that matter) for small children. So far this week she has been at her play kitchen making "birthday cakes" for everyone in the house and wanting us to sing the birthday song over and over. Sure my husband and I are sick of the songs but Blues Clues is positive and encourages learning for kids so I say, deal with it. Repetition is how kids learn, and if she loves it, who cares??? And She still loves that Blue Puppy and his master will always be treasured forever. And I kind of like Blue's Clue's too. It was well done and such Great ANAMATION and LIVE ACTION mixed together in a wonderful SHOW!!!!!!! If you have an autistic kid or an ordinary kid who hates writing and drawing then show him or her to join Steve (retired,) joe, and Blue on some fun, exciting clues that will thrill your kids for a long time!!』

Now he's almost 2 1/2 and has begun to develop more serious tastes. He'll actually watch many more programs geared towards older kids, and even adults, but he still likes his Blues Clues now and then.
Blues Birthday was always one of his favorites. Kids of course love birthdays so it's fun to watch Blue's party as he is joined by Steve and the rest of Blues friends for the celebration. Steve also teaches kids the the birthday candle dance. Good fun for your young ones.』

Full disclosure: I loath Franken's politics and most of his other humour, but this work is a brilliant exception.
Stuart Saves his family is an overlong extension of a SNL skit about "Stuart" the over twelve-stepped psychological casualty of our continuously self-indulgent selves. Rather than overcome his traumas, Stuart nurses them like a bacteriological growth in an inner Petri dish. He stumbles through a series of activities where his therapiezed world view provides conflict with others functioning normally (operating thetans), and abnormally (everyone in his family). I never really got the works of LRH, but his paranoia about "the Psycholos are coming" pretty much sums up the character Stuart....this is the kind of human being you get after all that.
But this is not gut-busting humour. This is light comedy that makes you think, and does have an unobjectionable uplifting element.』
(I was in this film! But it's still no good.....) 『I'll admit I liked the Stuart Smalley sketches, but this film is atrocious. It's especially disappointing because I was actually an extra on it (when I was rather young, and I didn't make the final cut, which isn't why I dislike the film). The film was a chore to sit through, another example of taking an SNL sketch (a memorable one, mind you) and stretching into an 85 minute bore. It doesn't help that Franken, who I never thought was hilarious, is not a great lead actor and he can't really carry this film. He's a decent writer who is quite overrated in my opinion (and rather smug on his radio show). The film tries for seriousness at times, but then Stuart Smalley is so silly and over the top, you're not sure what the filmmakers intended. Despite the fact that the actual shoot was very, very enjoyable, the result here is very poor and disappointing. They should just put a lid on SNL sketch films for a while....』
