IPhone 3G used's review (Confused!!) 『I must offer a caveat at the beginning of this review as we have not actually used the chopsticks holder. Based on the photographs of this item I expected to receive two sets of holders for a boy and a girl. In fact I was apparently arbitrarily sent just the boy. It was not clear to me that this would be the case and had I known I would have requested the "girl" for my daughter. If this turns out to be a question of order fulfillment problems I will amend this review accordingly.』
(Very cool! Easy for beginners.) 『My daughter began using these at age two. At four years old, she still loves eating with them. We're on our second set for our youngest daughter. Very cute and the chopsticks pick up the food really well.』 『Having trouble taming your chopsticks? You???re not alone. OK, I'm showing my age and I know I'm being a little nostalgic. Sure, the fantasy sequences are a little cheesy and even then, we noticed that sometimes Jimmy's hand's weren't syncing up quite right with the music but it didn't matter, this was Zeppelin live! Anyway, they've remastered the soundtrack, the picture looks a lot better and the second disc of extra footage makes it essential. If you're a fan, you either have it already or you need this. 』
(Song Remains The Same Review) 『Whether you're a Led-Head like me or just a casual Zeppelin fan, this is mandatory viewing material. It's undoubtedly one of the finest guitar performances ever caught on film. Ever. The things Jimmy pulls off are amazing. With this DVD you get to see Led Zeppelin all at the height of their creativity, talent and ability. I was a little surprised when I first realized that the newly included songs that were left off the original motion picture were placed on a separate disk and not inserted into their respective places in the concert film. But then I read that due to legal reasons, they weren't allowed to alter the original format of the film...only remaster the sound and images, but not mess around with the order of songs. So they had to put those other songs from the NY concerts on a separate disk. No biggie, at least you now have them all. The Ocean, Celebration Day and others! Some cool extras that I hadn't seen before. Some people who don't understand Led Zeppelin have complained that the live versions don't sound like the studio versions. However, Led never tried to reproduce that sound. They played these songs differently every night. Another complaint is that some say Zep live is self-indulgent. It's not. Per Jimmy Page, Led Zeppelin live allows for all four members to take their turn in "steering the ship." In this manner, it's actually very generous to the other members and not selfish. What else can be said that hasn't already been said by thousands (millions?) of other Zep fans. This concert is tremendous and the level of musicianship is awe-inspiring. And why wouldn't you want to see Jimmy at his height, playing his double-neck Gibson plus his famous Les Pauls! If you like rock music, you've got to have it.』
(Awesome!) 『Been into Zep since I was a kid.I remember back in 73 when Zep did this show at MSG in NYC. For years I was not happy with this. Thank god Jimmy Page decided to remaster and add the additional songs and a new 5.1 mix the way Zep played on stage. This is a must for Zep heads and a great look back at the mighty Led Zeppelin』
(Great time capsule of an incredible group of musicians) 『The Song Remains The Same captures the members of Led Zeppelin in all of their 70's American glory in performance at Madison Square Garden. Jimmy Page, John Paul Jones, John Bonham, and Robert Plant are in fine form and the editing make this an entertaining ride from start to finish. The little band member vignettes are a little pretentious (save for Bonham's, which kicks _ss), but it's still amusing. It's worth the dough and a fine companion piece to the double Led Zeppelin DVD that came out a few years back. Highly recommended for any Zep head.』
(led zeppelin - the song remains the same (2 disc set)) 『The dvd reminded me of the zeppelin concert that i attended. If you like zeppelin you will enjoy this dvd.』 『Studio: Warner Home Video Release Date: 02/05/2008 Run time: 138 minutes Rating: Pg』

Usually ships in 24 hours IPhone 3G used's review (Simply, the greatest rock band ever!) 『I was one of the priviledged few to have seen Led Zeppelin live in New York City at the young age of 14. (I had the coolest dad). When everyone else was listening to the Bay City Rollers my room was literally wallpapered with Led Zeppelin posters, so much so that when I finally took them down (somehwere around age 26) the walls around the posters were yellow. I held a candlelight vigil for John Henry "Bonzo" Bonham for months after his death. I wrote letters to Swan Song begging them to convince them to go on. (I still have the replies from a lovely woman named Diane who worked there.) Anyway, you get the point. This DVD set (sans the Immigrant song in the beginning of the second DVD which is a little fuzzy) is perfect. If you are young and want to see what all the fuss was about buy this and you will know why they are truly the greatest. One of my favorite tracks from this set is Since I've Been Loving You. The bluesy sounds of the band paired with Robert Plant's orgasmic singing will blow you away. I saw snippets of their O2 London tribute concert from December of 2007 (God Bless You Tube) and I must say, even in their 60s they've still got it! I truly wish the band would release their choke hold of the NYC concerts and release them on DVD in their entirety (You can see snippets of them from the movie The Song Remains The Same.) That would be awesome. Buy this, you will not be disappointed.』
(great dvd) 『I love this dvd. Absolutely amazing collection of performances. Excellent restoration work too. Highly recommended!』
(Best Zep DVD) 『If you were at all disappointed with "The Song Remains The Same" this is the dvd for you. Straight concert footage of two amazing shows plus some great extras.』
(Great!) 『I love this DVD, every single part. I especially enjoy Earl's Court accoustic set, it is so beautiful and has the best version of That's The Way I have ever heard. I know a lot of people say they didn't sound so great at Knebworth, but if you can get pass the sight of Jimmy Page's pit stains it is a real treat. A definite must have for any Zeppelin fan!』
(This Is The One To Get!!) 『I'm glad I got this one instead of 'The Song Remains The Same'. The Earl's Court section is increadible! Great qaulity and sound all around. You won't be dissapointed.』 『Clocking in at nearly five and a half hours led zeppelin dvd has been culled from the few performances which were ever filmed during the bands lifetime: londons royal albert hall in january 1970 londons earl court in may 1975 and englands knebworth festival in august 1979. Studio: Wea-des Moines Video Release Date: 05/27/2003 Run time: 314 minutes Rating: Nr』 『Exclamations of religious awe are in order. Legendary and long sought-after, this liveLed Zeppelincollection is nothing less than the rock music equivalent of the Holy Grail. Quite simply, this is what all the fuss was about.
Given that they were the biggest band in the world, Zeppelin were notoriously camera-shy in their heyday. Their official filmic legacy until now has been just the fascinating but flawedThe Song Remains the Same. While this new set presents some previously unseen footage from the same 1973 Madison Square Garden gigs, its real wonders lie in the earlier (1970) Royal Albert Hall footage and the later Earls Court (1975) and Knebworth (1979) concerts. Everything here looks and sounds new-minted, thanks to painstaking restoration and remastering of both audio and visual sources, a Herculean labor of love on the part of co-producer Dick Carruthers working hand-in-glove with Jimmy Page. Trawling through thousands of yards of previously unseen film and unheard tape recordings--some with missing visuals, some with missing audio--Page and Carruthers have chosen only the best possible footage available. They were also at pains to make the segments segue seamlessly so that the viewer is treated to what feels like a continuous concert--just sample the transition from a grainy Super 8 "Immigrant Song" (Sydney, 1972) to "Black Dog" at MSG.
Highlights? It's not hyperbole to say that every powerhouse minute of this collection (some 230 minutes of concert footage plus another hour and a half of extra DVD material) is a rare musical and visual treat. But hearing Page's violin bow work on "Dazed and Confused" in DTS or Dolby 5.1 is an experience not soon forgotten.--Mark Walker』

(The Mask still delivers) 『The Mask was one of those childhood defining movies for me. At the age I was, I became enthralled with cartoons and the animation process. The idea of a live action cartoon was just enough of a high concept idea to get my little 10 year old mind excited!! For years I had wondered if cartoon characters really existed in our 3D world what would they look like? How would they be lighted? Would the squashing and stretching work and look right? Luckily the mask answered that question for me! The then almost unheard use of CGI in film making was used to almost astonishing affect in this movie. I still think for some reason that these effects are some of the best seen in CGI enhanced movies. Even for the "cartoony" effect that the film makers were going for, to see that they pulled the squashing and stretching effect early on is quite impressive. The film itself is actually very good. It ignited the careers of both Jim Carrey and the very stunning 19 year old Cameron Diaz. The actors bring "A" game to this film and that's really impressive considering it to be very early efforts on their parts. These are the parts I admire each actor for the most. The internal drama that Stanley Ipkuss experiences is fairly engaging because many people relate to feelings of inadequacy and introversion and sometimes the wish of somehow "busting out" and "letting loose" takes on surprising constructs. This movie offers one fantastic and fanciful version of that wish which we see manifested in the cursed mask of Loki giving its wearer the ability to physically transform into their subconscious character. Its one of the zaniest uses of psychological experimentation you'll find on film. Most of all it's a fun as all heck movie that's hilarious and quotable from beginning to end. It belongs in anyone's library. 』
(AN UNEXPECTED THRILL OF LAUGHTER........) 『FUNNY AND AMUSING. JIM CAREY IS THE ONLY ACTOR WHO COULD HAVE PULLED THIS ALL OFF. WHO WOULD SUSPECT THAT CAMERON DIAZ COULD SING AND DANCE? LIKE I SAID, THIS MOVIE WAS AN UNEXPECTED THRILL OF LAUGHTER........』
(Not so funny now.) 『The Mask starring Jim Carrey was pretty funny and refreshing when it was released in 1994 but unfortanely this film fades with time. Carrey always gives a good performance but he's also kinda scary as the Mask. This movie is also the film debut of Cameron Diaz, she's va va voom in this one, she has great sex appeal. Good comedy but I'm pretty much over it.』
(SMOKIN'! This ISN'T Your Same Old Mask!) 『The Mask (1994) (8.5/10) I wasn't going to remark on this one, but this release I just picked up surprised me. I was at the WalMart with the missus, and we passed by the bargain bin, and of course I was dragged in by it but this time she joined me. She pulled out The Mask&said "Why don't we ever watch this one?", and I said "Because I never bought it, I'm waiting for a newer version, that one was made around 1997, probably looks pretty bad." But then she pointed out from the back that they credited "Lemony Snicket" from 2005. "Oh, they just updated the cover, but the disc probably is the same inside". Anyway she said I've bought worse for $5, so pick it up at least for our daughter, and I did.
Glad I did it, because I was wrong! Though the covers for the two are similar, this is a brand new 2005 re-release with 4 new documentaries and a new additional commentary. The transfer's gotta be new too because it looked great. Sure, you lose the FullFrame on the flip now (good riddance), but New Line should of packaged this differently because it's almost impossible to tell that this is a new version of the DVD. And for 5 bucks it's definitely worth the double dip. Just remember, the old version has a black background behind Carrey on the cover, the new one is cloud-filled blue.
A great classic of a film that has so many firsts in it:the start of CGI becoming useful, as well as the film career starts for both Jim Carrey&Cameron Diaz (of which the extras give plenty of new attention to). After what each of them have released recently, revisiting this will remind you what potential they once had. Sad to see Richard Jeni, a talented stand-up comedian, who got his big break in this film, due to his real-life suicide 13 years later, but all together this was a fun time. Worthy of your collection (this disc version at least).』 『Studio: New Line Home Video Release Date: 09/12/2006 Starring: Jim Carrey Rating: Pg13』 『For a film heavily dependent on special effects, the best effect going in this 1994 comedy is the ever-expressive star, Jim Carrey, playing a shy bank teller who stumbles across an ancient mask that turns him into a green hepcat with extraordinary powers. Cameron Diaz plays the love interest, but the real purpose of the movie is to bring cartoonish energy and effects into a live-action production. Toward that end, director Charles Russell does the job, but the gimmick wears out quickly for those easily bored by this sort of pseudo-animation. Lots of kids adore the film, though, and why not? The hero gets to be a whirlwind of mischief and still get the girl. The DVD release includes optional full-screen and widescreen presentations, deleted scenes, trailers, optional French soundtrack and optional French and Spanish subtitles.--Tom Keogh』
IPhone 3G used's review (Connection to my sister) 『For the 25 yrs I've been alive no movie has ever touched my heart like Rags to Riches. When I was a little girl, I would go to my grandmother's house and I would try to remember to bring the movie from home so my cousin and I could watch it. At the time, Ash and I were the only girls of our generation and having no other siblings of my own (brothers/sisters) it was like watching the show with the sister I never had. We loved the movie so much we memorized all the songs and would always sing them together. Now at age 25 and it being near Christmas I wanted to do something special for both Ash and I, I was planning to buy the movie on DVD and surprise her, plus buy one for my mother and I as well, but I was painfully hurt when I found out amazon did not have the movie in stock. We are in a time where not many people still have VCRs anymore, everything has gone high tech, and to see certain movies that have not been transfered to DVD is really sad. Movies like, "Sing" and "Rags to Riches", these movies are special to people and to not find them on a DVD is really heart breaking. I know most people don't read reviews but I hope you read this one because it's important. Having a connection is important, and having them with the people you love and admire, people you've grow up with, people you're honored to have as family, it's important to keep that connection. I hope someday in the near future to come on amazon and find Rags to Riches moved to the DVDs. I hope one day to see the over whelming look on my mother and my cousin's faces when I give the movies to them. But most of all I hope to sit down with my own children someday and watch it with them and see them as they develope that same connection I developed with my cousin Ash.』
(The movie that started it all) 『I just wanted to chime in that the movie preceded the series. It was NOT a piecemeal of the series to create a movie. The movie introduced the characters or could be better described as the PILOT for the series. I am praying that NBC will release the series (with the movie included) as a DVD set. If nothing else, it would put the vultures that are charging upwards of $100 bucks for their pirated copies out of business. It would be nice if they can do add updates on all of the cast members as part of the extras on the dvd....I can only tell you about Joe or Tisha....but I loved them all! I highly recommend this wonderful series to anyone who has an affinity for mid-century bebop music and truly believe that DREAM MAKERS exist!』
(Waiting for DVD of movie and series.) 『First off, this is by far one of the best series cancelled way too soon. I just wish that they would put out a DVD of the entire series including the movie. I just fell in love with this series growing up and when it went off the air, I was devasted! It's one of the few shows that I still think about and want to see again. I refuse to buy it on tape though because I wouldn't want to watch it in fear of something happening to it or it wearing out like tapes tend to do. Secondly, I have to add this point, the movie is NOT the series at all. I have no idea where anyone got that impression. The series was also missing one of the movie's key characters. The movie focuses a lot on one character and her need to be independent due to some boy (Nina played by Heather McAdams who later played Cat on Sisters/ Teddie's daughter). The series, as far as I can remember, doesn't even mention her character. I could be wrong in my memory of this, but I'm absolutely correct about the issue of the series and the movie not being the same. Anyway, it's a movie that will stick with you for a long time.』
(The series and the movie were not one and the same!) 『Someone stated that the series was just the movie cut up with commercials placed throughout. That is simply not true. The move was a jumpstart for the series. It showed how the girls ended up in the mansion and the series was about their lives there.
I wish this was out on dvd. I'd purchase the whole series. My friends and I used to gush about the show the day after it aired.』
(I KNEW it!!!) 『HA! I've finally found proof that I am not making it up! I loved this TV show and used to tell all my friends about it. None of 'em had ever even HEARD of it and one person told me, "Are you sure you don't have your own SPECIAL TV that shows these things you make up??" Well! I was vindicated when Battlestar Galactica came back out on TV, I've found the Peanut Butter Solution, and now this...Ahhhh...victory is sweet! :)
Off to look for Small Wonder...that cute lil robot girl...』
IPhone 3G used's review (RAD DVD please!!) 『Please!!! Will someone please release this on DVD! I've been waiting for this forever and all I can find are cheap bootlegs that play but not well! If I had a VHS player I would buy this here but I don't so I won't. Props to the company for providing the VHS though!』
(Simply The Best!!!) 『I've been a member of the BMX world since the beginning. This movie is truly the best. The action, the music, the now classic bikes really take me back. I just wish this was on BLU-RAY. Buy a BMX race bike and get to the track. Every one out there should try and contact HAL NEEDHAM and convince him to get this to DVD!』
(DVD please) 『we need this movie to be on dvd. it is a timeless classic that many of us older 20 something remember as being one of the greatest movies of our childhood. bring it to dvd.』
(DVD?) 『Why isn't this on DVD? This is such a great movie. If this ever comes out on DVD let me know.』
(80's to the max!!) 『I loved this movie as a kid. I kept watching it over and over, loving all the tricks, all the stunts and the song "Send me an Angel" is just totally AWESOME 80's style!! It was really the first movie to introduce me to the world of alternative sports. Until then I didn't know there were professional riders, skateboarders, etc. I hope this movie comes out on DVD as it would quickly become part of my collection.』
IPhone 3G used's review (Review of Peter and the Wolf) 『This is a VHS of the original broadcast of Walt Disney's animation of the story of Peter and the Wolf.
It was purchased to show our granddaughter before going to the Colorado Symphony to hear the Prokovfiev Concert of Peter and the Wolf.
It is everything I remember about the original broadcast.』
(Excellent, just be careful...) 『This is an awesome film. The musical score, narration and animation blend together beautifully in telling Prokofiev's classic story. My only warning is that some parts of the film are quite frightening. Unless you know they won't get overly scared, I wouldn't recommend showing this to your kids until they're at least 8. I first saw it when I was 5-ish, and the wolf absolutely terrified me. Afterwards, if anyone did so much as hum the music from the film, I'd freak out. I'm 18 and I still haven't totally gotten over it. So just use good judgement when showing this to young children. Otherwise, its fantastic.』
(Good!) 『I really like Disney's Peter and The Wolf. I remember seeing this in school, I think it was the music teacher who showed it to us. It was very entertaining!』
(Timeless classic) 『My mother watched this movie as a little girl, and her love for it passed on to me. Now I have a copy (thanks to amazon) for MY little girl, and she watches it constantly. We also own the musical soundtrack, and I found the storybook that came with the movie to be delightful as well. This is a charming, must have for your video library!』
(***ALREADY RELEASED ON DVD***) 『This title is not available alone on DVD but you can buy"MAKE MINE MUSIC". This is an old title from Disney and it includes"Peter and the Wolf".』
IPhone 3G used's review (The best Christmas tree lights available!) 『These C7 lights are the same kind of Christmas tree lights that I remember from my childhood in the 1960s, which is the main reason I bought them. In my opinion, they are the best Christmas tree lights, being far superior to the tiny lights that became the standard when artificial trees were introduced. These multi-colored C7 lights glow brilliantly, and they beautifully light up a real Christmas tree. If you remember the days when C7 lights were standard on real Christmas trees, this set of lights will bring back wonderful memories. Two strings of 25-bulb sets can be connected, and three strings of these lights, totaling 75 bulbs, were perfect for my six-foot tree this year. I do wish that the cord length between the plug and the first bulb were longer, but this is the only disadvantage to the set. They are advertised as indoor-outdoor lights, but I cannot vouch for their durability outdoors, as I have only used them indoors. If you want outdoor multi-colored lights, get the C9 lights, which are larger and, presumably, more durable.』 『C7 25 INDOOR/OUTDOOR LIGHT SET

IPhone 3G used's review (Great low light condition camera) 『Have been using this camera for a couple of weeks now and it out performs my other cameras. Especially in low light conditions. Can see farther and in color longer at night than the cameras I have from other vendors. Also, the short cable is perfect for installations where you want to swap out a camera. Overall very happy with this camera.』
(Works great!) 『I bought this to work with the Q-See 4-Channel PCI card in my PC. The picture is great when hooked directly to a TV, but the Q-See MPEG compression really defeats the high resolution of this cam. Night vision is pretty grainy beyond 10-15 feet, but the illumination is good within that range. My only gripe is that I intended to mount this under an eave of my roof, but the hole for the bracket is underneath the camera and the bracket is not long enough to mount under a horizontal surface. This will have to be vertically mounted on a wall, which is less attractive and less weather resistant. Otherwise; a pretty good buy. BEAR IN MIND: this does NOT include a power adapter or "Siamese Cabling", factor that into your budget.』
(IR Buff) 『This is a very nice little camera and I feel it is a great value if you are looking for a camera with a 3.6mm lens (aprox.90 degree field of view). The camera has very good night vision compared to the IR cameras that came with my system. The IR cameras that came with my system could not see down my driveway in the dark let alone see the street in front of my house at night. Now at night, I can see down my driveway and with the illumination from the streetlights I can see across the street.
The only down sides are no power supply and BNC cable connector instead of RCA for the camera video to the field wiring. This is not a big deal. Only other issue is the mounting holes for the camera, to mount the camera onto the bracket, are towards the back of the camera. The mounting bracket comes in sections and must be threaded together. My cameras did not want to stay aimed until I placed some epoxy on the threaded sections of the bracket and allowed it to set to make the bracket parts less susceptible to turning. Other than that, they are great. I have two more on the way.』 『This Day/Night Vision Color Bullet camera can incredibility see 75 feet in total darkness. It has 30 high power Long life luminary with special wavelength Infrared LED. It also meet the IP-66 water and dust proof standard for outdoor and indoor special IR Led board can void cross-voltage input error(positive and negative end reverse) during installation. This camera employs 1/3" SONY SuperHAD CCD sensor and Digital Signal Processor (DSP) IC for image control.
