(Great Product!)
『This little bird glows all night long! Even after sun rise. I enjoy looking out my window every night and watch its glowing and changing of colors. Works like a charm!!』

(Love them, except...)
『The product is delightful when working correctly. I would have appreciated a problem solving section being included. Four out of the five are working perfectly, but I have no way of solving the problem with the fifth, which didn't occur until after the 30 day return policy was up! I have even attempted to contact the seller, but have received no response to date. I was planning on purchasing more as gifts and a few more for myself, but because of the lack of response, I will look to another manufacturer.』

(It's Cute at Night!)
『Even I think color-changing light is a bit tacky, but hey, this is a hummingbird! A clear acrylic hummingbird tops a two-part stake. A rechargeable battery is included and must be inserted into one half of the stake prior to assembly. The solar panel is a disk encircling the stake. The hummingbird is well-done. There's some detail; it's not just a blob.

This baby stays lit all night. It's still lit at sunrise. The LED is a pretty bright light. This piece makes a bold statement at night. That said, it's virtually invisible during the day. I do like it, and will look for more solar/LED lighting now that I've tried this. If you prefer yard art with a little class, you won't like it. If you're into novelty, you will.』

『These are great to use. They are very sturdy and very attractive looking. I highly recommend them.』

(Good Napkins for Everyday)
『These lunch napkins are handy for lunch boxes and everyday use at home. They are a step-up from grabbing a paper towel for daily family table service. In addition, the paper towel roll will last longer not using them for napkins all the time. These napkins are economical and a worthy purchase.
The quality is ok for family, but go with a more expensive choice for something other than everyday fare.』

(Just as good as other brands.)
『We use them at dinner time to wipe our hands and faces and they work just fine. No fancy pictures just a napkin that I don't feel as guilty using.』

(Beautiful Dance Workout!)
『This DVD is quite enjoyable...it is a great way for the belly dancer to refine his/her techniques and get a full dance workout. The content of the video seems to have more of an artistic approach, as opposed to just doing one drill after another. (Don't get me wrong, drills are great, but sometimes I get bored with them and I just want to dance!) The combos flow nicely together and the choice of music fits well in each section. The fact that it is put together to feel more like a dance performance than a workout makes the time go by faster!

Only a couple of things on the negative side. I would not recommend this for a beginner belly dancer. This DVD is best suited for an experienced dancer; someone who has taken classes for awhile (perhaps at the advanced beginner or intermediate level) and understands the basic principles of belly dance technique and has a solid foundation. Videos are a great tool for practice but it is usually beneficial to get feedback from a teacher in person, especially when you are learning belly dance for the first time. That way you can avoid bad habits that could lead to injuries, such as a lowback strain from doing hip infinity loops.

The other negative thing, (and this is just my personal opinion), is that I would have preferred a cool down and stretch at the end of the workout. But that is pretty minor since a person can easily stretch on their own without video guidance!

Overall a well thought out video...something I will be adding to my home practice for sure!

(Fantastic way to mix up your workout)
『I love this workout. It moved a bit fast for me at first but when I decided to mix it up a bit by doing the tutorial section, I found I still got a great workout. I first started with bellydance 7 years ago but continue to learn and find the best methods in which I learn. Using the tutorial section where the move is taught then demonstrated by a clip of the workout it shows up in, I could get a nice little workout. When the 'practice' part of the tutorial plays it is with music only. I found that to be a great option for those who get overloaded with trying to listen to the voice over instructions while watching what the dancers are doing next. So, it's not just a great workout done in sections and as one big workout- but a great tool for the more advanced bellydance student in drilling transitions.』

(Luscious lives up to its name. I feel amazing!)
『As a seasoned customer of [...] I had high expectations for this DVD, but even those were exceeded by Luscious. I put it on. intending to spend 20 minutes on it, and the next thing I had gone all the way through all 6 sections before I had noticed, as it was just too fun, too sensuous and too delicious to stop.

As a fitness pro myself, I have been exposed to 100s of different types of workouts and this is one of my favorites ever.

Truly luscious, which is exactly how I feel now.
Yum!

(Wonderful)
『This video is a great product for beginners as well as more advanced bellydancers. There are tutorials for each type of movement and there are choreographed combinations of movements. The result is a very full, practical and beautiful bellydancing workout.』

(belly dancing)
『I really liked it. its a bit difficult but what exersise isn't if its good?』
『Lavish and overflowing with deep, rich, feminine movement, Luscious: The Bellydance Workout is made of 100% of bellydance moves and steps It is gentle, but it will work your body to enhance your muscle tone, flexibility, and fluidity, and promote weight loss. With a special focus on muscle conditioning and elongation, the program works each group of muscles deeply - using carefully built combinations to switch between muscle groups and add intensity to the workout. Luscious: The Bellydance Workout features gorgeous music and a beautiful flow undiluted by conventional exercises. Systematically addressing each group of muscles to deliver a total body workout, it creates an entertaining and aesthetically fulfilling dance experience inspiring you to do your best in executing each move with the proper depth, range of motion, and articulation.

A true dance experience as much as a fitness experience, Luscious is beginner level, but it offers you a perspective of challenge and growth. The workout consists of 7 sections, each building consistently upon the dance vocabulary covered in the previous sections through its own series of combinations. The combinations include classic bellydance transitions between steps to help you create the muscle memory to ingrain dance in your body.

Luscious is an instructional workout. It introduces the dance vocabulary in a careful, systematic way and contains an extensive tutorial section breaking down each move used in the workout.

If this is one of your first steps in bellydance, this program will be a fun introduction to all the basic groups of bellydance moves and transitions. If you are a dancer, it s a great way to practice the core of the bellydance technique and vocabulary through functional drills performed in the context of dance combinations and transitions creating an extra layer of muscle memory that isolated drills do not provide.

Workout duration - 45 min.

Tutorial section - 50 min.

The Circles section explores circular bellydance moves. It follows a slow-to-moderate tempo, working both the lower and upper body through isolations.

Next is the Infinity Loops section. Together with the stretching and toning impact of every move in this section, infinity loops are the ultimate exercise in fluidity.

Undulations maintain flexibiilty of your spine and help develop deep awareness of your core. They are also a challenging full-body muscle-conditioning exercise.

The bellydance hipwork section exercises your thighs, glutes, and abdominal muscles. In the Hip Accents section we ll perform traditional bellydance hip moves and then weave them together with the fluid movements: circles, infinity loops and undulations. Hipwork is what gives bellydance such vibrancy and party appeal - these steps look great on any dance floor.

The Shimmy - that effortless shaking of the hips - is actually hard work! Join us to shake your way through a few styles of shimmy, and enjoy the wide range of shimmy flavors.

The Body Line section is built of moves involving your total body. It shifts focus from working individual body parts to dance steps that offer the most stretching and give you a dancerly posture and carriage.

The last section is a short dance routine choreographed entirely of the bellydance moves featured in the workout.

(Another kind of music video)
『Yes, this is computer animation, and proud of it. But the computer is just a production tool, like an artist's brush, and the final product is what counts. That product is gorgeous, and covers a wide range of sensibilities. 'Stick Figures' features likable robotic characters. Most of the other pieces, including 'Pipe Dream' and especially 'Drum Machine' have a more industrial feel, like the offspring of symphony orchestra and an automated assembly line. 'Harmonic Voltage' takes the science fiction look even farther.

The music really makes this stand out. It's not just something to go along with the clever gadgets. The MIDI control tracks literally drive the motion just as they drive the sound - with remarkable cleverness to make sure that the cymbal or drum rotates into position just when it needs to be played. In fact, at lease one of these compositions, 'Aqua Harp,' has taken on a life of its own. A little searching at YouTube shows more than one human-played version of the very enjoyable tune.

Extras help, too. The seven shorts each offer preliminary sketches of the visual concepts and other material showing how the imagery comes together. Informative director's notes help viewers appreciate the behind-the-scenes work, and add an eighth, earlier piece to the collection. You don't need the extras to enjoy these clever and creative pieces though - all you need is a little sense of fun.

(Music Teacher Standards!)
『Whenever I'm ill, I have my classes watch a music based video. Well, problem is, I know my students well enough to know what they WONT watch! This video captivated them. Each clipping made them want more. I think the clips should be longer for the more intricate designs, but I explain to the students that it'll make them want to watch it again and look for something they haven't noticed the last time.
As for the music, it's definitely based on "basic theories" of certain genres. But what's wrong with that? Some of the crap these kids listen to are rotting their knowledge of the classics. It's not too hard on the ears for adults, but not boring for the younger crowd.
After I play this video (takes 2 class periods) I ask them about their opinions and criticisms. It allows them to show me what they want to see more of in the future. My older student will use this lesson for a creative writing project in their homeroom and I send those papers to the creators so they know what the future generations are looking for.
I bought the 2nd DVD and wasn't as impressed. Most 3/4th graders liked it and younger. My 5th and 6th graders felt the same as me, not enough detail and imagination put into it...needed more wow-factor to make it worth their time.』

(Love it!)
『This is a great DVD. The music is great, the animation is awesome. The special features are fun, too. Great for music lovers AND computer nerds! :)』

(Rush Meets CGI)
『This stuff is amazing...a art and progressive rock hypnosis session. If you're a musician or musician wannabe, you'll be amazed by the precision of the instrument playing...especially the drums. In a world where "real" musicians lipsync and dub during live performances, this is actually kinda real even if visionary. Animusic2 will also blow you away. The Gyro Drums in Animusic2 is as incredible and delightful and even more funky than the Drum Machine in Animusic. GET BOTH!』
『WatchingAnimusicis like being mesmerized by the world's most elaborate Rube Goldberg devices: You're so astonished by their ingenuity that you can't look away. This "computer animation video album" is the brainchild of Wayne Lytle, a progressive-rock keyboardist and 1988 graduate of Cornell University's Program of Computer Graphics. Modifying techniques originally applied to the visualization of scientific data, Lytle partnered with graphic artist and 3D modeler Dave Crognale to create elaborate virtual stage sets and imaginary musical instruments that are driven via MIDI interface to virtually "play" the music that Lytle has composed for them. "The music drives the instruments," explains Lytle in his engaging DVD commentary, "and not the other way around." Using proprietary software called MIDImotion™, Lytle and Crognale have invented self-playing musical instruments that exist in a magical realm of musical and mathematical precision, perfectly synchronized to the kind of fully-synthesized prog-rock that Lytle obviously enjoys (and if you're a fan of Keith Emerson and Rick Wakeman, you will, too). It's the kind of audiovisual bombast that appeals to some more than others (and there's something oddly impersonal about removing humans from the performance of music), butAnimusicis so intricately clever that anyone can be captivated by the meticulous novelty of these beautifully engineered musical marvels.

Take, for example, the most popular track, "Pipe Dream," in which thousands of animated balls take on a life of their own, popping out of an intricate system of pipes and barrels and bouncing, with percussive precision, onto all varieties of strings, drums, xylophones, timbales, cowbells... it's just hypnotically amazing. The same holds true for all of these videos, and while the colorful 3D rendering ofAnimusic(first released in 2001) is no longer state-of-the-art, the underlying mechanics remain timelessly appealing. For this special edition DVD released in 2004, Lytle opens his toy-box to reveal the creative process ofAnimusicfrom conceptual drawings to final 3D rendering. There's also a "solo-cam" function allowing viewers to switch angular focus from one instrument to another, along with animated set-construction demonstrations to show how everything fits together in the realm ofAnimusic. The 5.1-channel surround mix makesAnimusica perfect demonstration disc for high-end video systems (this is nothing if not a geek's delight), and Lytle's first animation (from 1996) is included along with a sneak-peek atAnimusic 2, the follow-up DVD released in 2005.--Jeff Shannon

(Funny but familiar)
『Frank is a funny guy with a lot of voices, but unfortunately this routine doesn't really do much with them. If you're a fan of Frank's CD release, you'll have heard about 80% of this act. It's kind of sad that he's had years between that CD and this release, but he hasn't come up with much new material. Brian Regan and Jeff Dunham have released 2 DVDs in the past two years and come up with completely new acts.

What little new material that is there is funny at times. Absolutely the standout moment in the show is a part of the bonus materials. It's an encore presentation in which Frank does a Jonathan Winters impression that is absolutely hilarious and spot-on. Then it's back to his standard "Chris Farley is Batman" closer.

The bonus materials on the DVD are the encore, a quick look at some of the makeup work on him, some spots with him doing John Madden out in different places, and a short blooper reel.

If you have Frank's CD, you can skip this. If this is your first introduction to his work, it's funny.』

(Pretty Good)
『Okay so its not as good as the original but then again what is. Its still a pretty good movie as far as sequels go.』

(The Lion King 2)
『I can't so nothing bad about this dvd movie. You kept your case and disks in perfect condition that is the way I like keeping mines. Yes I am very happy and would order from this place again.』

(Better than average Disney sequel)
『The Lion King is one of the greatest animated films ever to grace the silver screen. In my opinion, it battles it out for the top spot with Beauty and the Beast and maybe Toy Story. Everything about it was beautifully created-- the animation (who could ever forget the famous stampede), the music (Circle of Life, Be Prepared, Can you feel the love tonight are among Disney's best), the story (taking Hamlet to the animal kingdom). There was a brilliant villain in Scar voiced magnificently by Jeremy Irons, a complicated hero in Simba and a strong supporting cast of comedic roles. And it ended perfectly-- there was no need for a sequel because the audience is left with the sense that Simba has finally overcome his guilt about his father and will do just fine in his rightful throne. It's such a masterpiece than a direct-to-video sequel could NEVER do the original any justice. Of course, that is always true with Disney.

In this case, Lion King II, while infinitely better than The Little Mermaid or Pocahontas sequels, still really serves no purpose other than to entertain young children. The original became such an enormous success and probably was the peak of the Disney Renaissance because it appealed to everyone. First and foremost, it was a beautifully made and somewhat dark Shakespearean tale that just happened to be a cartoon. I mean, no one ever forgets Mufasa's death scene whether they were 6 or 30 when they first saw it. The sequel, while it has some moments of fun, cannot hold a candle when compared to the grand nature of the original. Yet it takes on yet another serious Shakespeare tale (R&J that is), which they should not have done unless they were going to put in more effort and make it a theatrical release. The main characters, Kovu and Kiara, are nowhere near as developed or engaging as the young Simba and Nala. The villain has nowhere near the complexity and motives of the brilliant Scar. Even the adult Simba in this sequel is a shadow of his original self and as a father figure, is no Mufasa either.

In my opinion, a better sequel might have dealt more with Simba taking on his father's position. After all, in the original, it was not a fairy-tale romance that captured people's interests but the more serious father-son dynamic between Simba and Mufasa. And in this sequel, the most interesting moments involve Simba trying to live up to his idolized father and still traumatized by his uncle's deception.

The music is severely lacking as well. There is no Circle of Life or Be Prepared or even Hakuna Matata. The original had a sensational Hans Zimmer score that was sorely missed here and replaced by fairly pedestrian tunes. My problem with this movie is that it shouldn't have been made, which can be said of most Disney sequels except maybe Aladdin and the King of Thieves that was surprising comedic gem.

Overall, not a terrible direct-to-video sequel but one that really didn't need to be made.』

(Excellent sequel)
『One of the few sequels that didn't kill the original disney movie. Here, like in the original Lion King shakespeare elements are used. This time Romeo and Juliet instead of Hamlet.
The music was excellent and memorable. Emotional and not the crappy canned music in so many other sequels.
A movie that I would still watch again and again.』

(A rare Disney sequal)
『The term "Disney sequal" brings up thoughts of butchering and ruining Disney classics. Strangely enough this was rather enjoyable. Unlike most other sequals this wasn't made too much longer after the first so retains most of the original voices. The plot is also somewhat related to the first--The Lion King being loosely based on Hamlet and this one being loosely based on Romeo and Juliet. This is definately worth watching, but the songs did leave something to be desired. There were also a few holes in the plot, but in terms of Disney sequals this is def in the top five.』
『Another made-for-video sequel to a Disney masterpiece. As with theBeauty and the BeastandPocahontassequels, most of the recognizable vocal talents return, creating a worthwhile successor to the highest-grossing animated film ever. We pick up the story as the lion king, Simba (voiced by Matthew Broderick), and Nala (Moira Kelly) have a new baby cub, a girl named Kiara (Neve Campbell). Like her father before, she seeks adventure and ends up outside the Pridelands, where lions loyal to the evil Scar (who died in the original) have lived with revenge in their hearts. The leader, Zira (a spunky turn from Suzanne Pleshette), schemes to use her son Kovu (Jason Marsden) to destroy Simba. As luck with have it, Kiara has bumped into Kovu and fallen in love.

This all sounds familiar since all of Disney's straight-to-video sequels have played it very safe, nearly repeating the originals' story, tone, and pace. Perhaps there were too many cooks for this production. Besides the two screenplay credits, there are eight other writers credited for additional written material. The look of the film has none of the surprise of the original but is far superior to other animated videos. In fact, the film played in European theaters.

For kids, the sequel will be a favorite. The comic antics of Timon (Nathan Lane) and Pumba (Ernie Sabella) are enjoyable, as is Andy Dick as Nuka, the mixed-up older son of Zira. And there's plenty of action. The best element is the music. Relying on more African-influenced music, the five songs featured are far superior to those in Disney's other sequels. Zira's song of revenge, "My Lullaby," was cowritten byBuffy the Vampire Slayercreator Joss Whedon. The standout opening number, "He Lives in You," was created for theLion KingBroadway smash and now finds a whole new audience.--Doug Thomas

(A great movie made even better on Blu Ray)
『I have always been a big fan of The Nightmare Before Christmas and owned it for years on DVD. Having said that, the difference between the DVD and Blu Ray are tremendous. The blacks are blacker, colors more vibrant and the audio is amazing.

If you are a fan of this film and own a Blu Ray player (and HDTV!) and decent surround sound system, it will quickly become one of your audio showcase movies.』

『I give it one star for only ONE reason, it doesn't work on my blu ray player. I live in Australia and have had problems only with FOX blu rays... till now.

I'm guessing disney have now begun coding the blu rays too. Either way, it doesn't work on my player, unfortunately... I LOVE THIS FILM!!!』

『This dvd is still amazing. I really enjoy the quality of the movie. I liked how it is restored. The special features are great too. Just be careful about the digital copy. Disney forgot to include my code so I could access the digital copy. But besides that, I really enjoyed my purchase. I can't wait to watch it again. Love it!』

(The Nightmare Before Christmas)
『Tim Burton has created a masterpiece with The Nightmare Before Christmas.
In the Blu-Ray Format you see the amazing amount of detail that has been painstakingly built into this movie. The color and shadings are more impressive than it has ever been seen in Theaters. The depth looks very
much like the 3D film that was re-released last year. The over all look
including color depth exceeds the 3D version. This is a must own for collectors who want to show off there home theater.』

『For those who never thought Disney would release a film in which Santa Claus is kidnapped and tortured, well, here it is! The full title isTim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas, which should give you an idea of the tone of this stop-action animated musical/fantasy/horror/comedy. It is based on characters created by Burton, the former Disney animator best known as the director ofPee-wee's Big Adventure,Beetlejuice,Edward Scissorhands, and the first twoBatmanmovies. His benignly scary-funny sensibility dominates the story of Halloweentown resident Jack Skellington (voice by Danny Elfman, who also wrote the songs), who stumbles on a bizarre and fascinating alternative universe called ... Christmastown! Directed by Henry Selick (who later made the delightfulJames and the Giant Peach), this PG-rated picture has a reassuringly light touch. As Roger Ebert noted in his review, "some of the Halloween creatures might be a tad scary for smaller children, but this is the kind of movie older kids will eat up; it has the kind of offbeat, subversive energy that tells them wonderful things are likely to happen."--Jim Emerson

The story doesn't get cut off at the end as in the American original to keep it within the time limits, in short it is a quality English movie. This is a copy from a tape as it was never made as a DVD, too bad, some quality is lost. I would rate the DVD as good overall; quality script, actors, settings, color photography, but the sound was weak in places. Service was prompt.』

(A Christmas Classic That Should Be On DVD!)
『Although the original movie version of Little Lord Fauntleroy starring Freddie Barthalomew is very charming in it's own right, it is by far superceded by this version starring Ricky Schroeder and Alec Guiness, especially since this version is rewritten as a Christmas story. Up until 2004 this was the movie I always watched on Christmas Day! Then I had a house fire that resulted in the heat damage of all my VHS tapes. Since I now have gone strictly to the DVD format, I have been searching for all of my favorite videos on DVD. Of the dozen or so videos that are yet to appear on DVD this is the one that is at the very top of my list! As part of the acting legacy of the late Sir Alec Guiness, this movie should be a must DVD for all of his fans! Also, as an added bonus for Star Trek fans, Patrick Stewart makes a very nice cameo appearance in this movie before he became Captain Picard. Finally, I believe one of the writers-producers, Blanche Hanalis, of the 1970's Little House On The Prairie TV series was also behind the making of this movie, which was originally presented by Hallmark as part of its Gold Crown Entertainment series. This movie is definitely family entertainment and a story with a moral message at its best! My Christmases will never feel complete until I own this treasure of a movie again!』

(Little Lord Fauntleroy)
『Our family watched this movie on television years ago. I taped it for my children and we watched it over and over again. It is quite an old version, but worth seeing. Ricky Schroder as a child is the main character, he is charming. I have searced for this particular movie for years, remembering how good it was years ago. It teaches valuable lessons, for adults and children as well. Little Lord Fauntleroy changes the hearts of many with his love and kindness toward everyone. Your family would love it, ours does. I highly recommend it.』

(Little Lord Fauntleroy)
『The Alec Guinness/Ricky Schroder version was so beautifully filmed, that the scenery and costuming become a member of this stellar case. I watched this (made for TV) movie when it first aired, and have been amazed that such an elaborate production has not become a yearly tradition. To my knowledge it has never aired but the one time--what a waste and what a pity. I search the TV listings each year.
I am forced to watch our extended-play, grainy VHS copy--the beauty of this story has become a family favorite. Christmas would not be Christmas without seeing it.
The story is perdictable--from the start you know all will turn out well. In the best Dickens-ist tradition. Bad is turned into good, eventually. You willing gallup along anyway because the cast captures the roles so comvincingly and the beauty is equally captivating.
What will it take to have this movie released on a remastered DVD? This holiday season do yourself a favor and ferret out a copy--Then kick back and let the Christmad spirit wash over you.
I don't promise any surprises, but you might find yourself drawn into the faithful circle that believe this film is among the very best of Christmas stories filmed.

(Great Xmas Movie)
『This movie has become a Xmas tradition around our house. The cinematography is superb, as is the casting. I always end up reaching for the Kleenex box before the end! I would really like it in DVD since my VHS copy is wearing out.』

(Doesn't last long)
『I have five pomeranians which get brushed often so I got four of these brushes when they were on sale. They lasted about a month before the pins started to break off. I now have one left and it's doing the same thing. The annoying part is the tiny pins get lost in the carpet easy! They are usually found when they are stepped on. The handle is great for all the brushing though!』

(cheap and effective)
『This works as good as more expensive ones. Unless you are going to get a chris christensen this one is fine for you.』

(Pleasant surprise)
『It's a good size for my 8lb puppy. It just fluffs him up and makes his fur look like cotton candy. The handle feels nice too, nice enough that my puppy loves to chew on it. It probably doesn't really brush out the coat as well as other brushes, but it's great for the top coat. I use it after I comb out the pup to fluff him up or just a quick brush to make him look extra cute.』

(Ouch But Works)
『A Slicker Brush is recommended for my breed, a toy dog breed and that is why I bought it. I gave it 5 stars because It gets the job done, but after I pricked my finger with it, I really didn't want to use it again. My pup didn't seem to mind it, but I felt it was a little too sharp on the tips. Just my personal opinion and maybe I am too new at grooming to use this type of brush just yet.』
