Cat went completely nuts. The base isn't very wide so it occasionally tips over. Has a bell attached, so I hide the toy at night so I can sleep. Mine has a blue ball on top.』
(Not for all cats) 『Although I am sure some cats will love the Firstrax Kitty Bongo Ball, our young adult cat had never played with it either alone or when we moved the ball to interest him. Other toys he takes to right away, especially those that move. Quite frankly, our dog has more interest in this toy than our cat. Perhaps this toy would be more suited for cats with a more gregarious personality than ours but based on our experiences, interactive snake toys with more of a range of movement interest him more.』
(Cat's love it!) 『I have 3 cats and they all take turns playing with this toy. Absolutely wonderful.』
(Neither here nor there) 『It is hard to give a good review on this product since it really depends on you cat. My cat gave it maybe five minutes of attention and hasn't cared for it at all.』
(cats) 『I was hoping my 3 cats would play with it more than they do. They will rub on it if I put catnip on it. It is a cute little toy for them and maybe they'll get to liking it.』 『Your cat will go bonkers over Bongo Ball. One look at the dancing, swinging ball and he'll be captivated for hours. One bat and the toy swings back and forth for more. Durable carpeted base, tough spring, and super soft fluffy ball.』
IPhone 3G used's review (Re-paint and Thin No More...) 『I have painting in my blood...which kinduv makes it hard to donate...but my mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother were all very accomplished painters. I, on the other hand, tend to dabble and because I see myself as more or less a dabbler, I really don't find it necessary to go all out on products.
These paints fit the bill very nicely for what I like to do. They go on rather smoothly and they don't tend to glob up like some paints do. They also tend to wash out of clothing very easily as my wife can attest. I happened to sit on a tube of brown paint....yeah, tell me about it...it was a bummer, especially when I was wearing white shorts at the time...
But when I'm not going for the skidmark look, I like to use these paints on canvas as well as on heavy cardboard. Like I said, I just dabble but it's better the dabble you know than the dabble you don't...
Besides, would I lie to you? I've done 300+ reviews on this here website and I'm not about to start. I have a reputation. It might not be very good, but I have one.
I think I would even recommend these paints to someone who is accomplished. I like the way they mix. By the way, did you know that when you mix blue and red you get purple? I know that because there is now a big purple stain on one of my good shirts.
My wife is going to kill me...

Have all their DVD's (way too few) and have seen their show live - anyone who loves music cannot but be enthralled by these ladies and their style of music!』
(Consulting with the Maestro-David Downes) 『There are many reasons to purchase this excellent, albeit, review collection, but the greatest one in my opinion is the talk you will encounter with Mr. Music himself, the genius that not only in song selections, but in talent refinement. David Downes is the maestro both in front of an audience with his vigorous direction and sensitive piano playing. But he is much more than that. Youthful in appearance and precise in his language, David will tell you if you listen closely to his words how the "magic" ( as Orla put it in her interview-she charmingly said, "something happened, we don't know quite what it was- a bit of magic)occured to make CW the MUST SEE MUST HAVE DVD and CD collections that we all cherish. We love each and every presentation and David says he chose the songs HE likes to hear, with contrasts-peaceful-then rousing. I trust his choices and I laud his own compositions: "The Blessing", "One World" and the superb, "The Soft Good-bye". The purchase of this DVD is a must for all CW fans, and for New Comers because of the wonderful words of David Downes and how he loves music, loves the voices of these singers he prods and polishes to perfection. He also says in another interview,"I can't get enough of Mairead Nesbitt", the dancing fiddler with the flying blond tresses- He knew she would weave the tapestry around these singers... You actually want to break down in tears when they sing-it is such a wonderful media experience and now with their new over 50 cities tour-people from New York to California and points in-between will get the benefit to enrich their lives brought to us by this Irish Musical Genius that is David Downes-buy it today and learn from him why CW is what it is today at this point and time in history. AND . . . Maeve fans (of which I am one) will NOT be disappointed-she is there with her regal polished lilting soprano gracing the stage and blending with the others who are exceptional performers in their own talents-including the wonderous Hayley Westernra -the enchanting , compelling Lisa Kelly, the youthful voice from heaven- Chloe Agnew and the Irish embodiment of polished presentation in songs for now and long ago -Orla Fallon which makes us long for Ireland and the spiritual journey we can take by listening to her-and to all of them Please buy this so you can Listen to David Downes- the inspiration of CW』
(Greatest Journey) 『Writing this review is a bit complicated because I need to target it toward two audiences--Loyal fans of Celtic Woman, and those who are fairly new.
First of all let me say that the Greatest Journey DVD is a collection of tracks from both of their award winning shows and therefore, nothing new. That said, for those NEW to the Celtic Woman experience, the DVD is a good introduction to the beauty and talents of these remarkable Irish women and will give you an incite into what you can expect to find in both of their previous DVDs. A nice addition is the footage of Ireland interspersed between the various tracks. It gives it a nice transition. But for those of us devoted Celtic Woman fans, it is simply a repeat of what we already have in our collections making it unnecessary to buy the CD, unless of course, you happen to like this particular mix of tracks.
For us there is a 55 minute documentary presentation on the history of Celtic Woman which I enjoyed thoroughly. Now you have to ask yourself the question, "Is it worth the $14.99 cost?" Personally I enjoyed the presentation even if it did contain some repeated material from New Journey's special features. Watching what goes on behind the scenes and the amount of work associated with show I found very interesting.
Now to the downside, for "Orinoco Flow" the video bounces back and forth between the song as presented in the Original Show and New Journey, making watching it annoying when seeing the girls suddenly appearing is different dresses. Switching shots wouldn't be so bad if it where just the orchestra and choir shots, but for the girls it causes a problem. They should have stuck the just one show or the other. The same applies to the closing Reprise track. It is shot awkwardly. Finally, in "Mo Ghile Mear", the drum solos are cut short before Mairead's entrance, but that edit is done well. Other than that, this time there are no major edit glitches like those occurring in New Journey and Christmas Celebration.
Well that is my opinion. Please feel free the comment below or to email me personally. 』
(A must for a CW fan!) 『Yes, it is basically just clips from the other Celtic Woman DVDs, BUT the documentary ALONE is worth buying.
If you are a big Celtic Woman fan you will really want this. The hour long "The Story So Far" Documentary is fantastic, and a great behind-the-scenes look at how Celtic Woman all came about, and the girls' thoughts about it so far. Great interviews with all of the girls, and a great view of how they interact with each other. I really loved this documentary, and to me, it is what makes this DVD worth the cost. Plus, this is a great DVD if you are looking to share the magic of Celtic Woman with someone else who is not familiar with them. It really goes through all the great hits and well-loved songs. They've added in some beautiful shots of Ireland in between the songs and they do compliment the music so well!
As for new stuff, CW will be filming a new DVD this summer, so be on the look out for that.
Long live Celtic Woman, and bring on the Spring 2009 tour!!!!!』
(Celtic Woman - The Greatest Journey Essential Collection) 『I was very disappointed with this DVD. It is nothing but cuts from their previous DVDs. Since I already have the previous DVD's there was really no reason to purchase this one.
If I had know it was only a re hash of the first two DVD's I would not have ordered it. I was hopping to see the new Celtic Ladies but that was not to be. They are no where on this DVD.

It just plays the 2 with Joe. If you want to see the 2 episodes with Steve you have to go into another menu option. I bought this dvd for a road trip and it was frustrating that I had to climb around the car after 2 episodes so my daughter could see the rest of the dvd.』
(dvd) 『Full of learning without kids realizing it! My 4&1 yr. old love it!』
(It's great episod !!) 『One of the best episod in Blue's clue's! I have 2 same dvd, one in play in car, the other one at home. They teaches colors and "Colors everywhere song is leaning how to mix the colors. Children easy to learn colors with song. I love this episod.』
(Great for Learning) 『My son is two and has learned so much from this DVD. He enjoys mixing his own colors now and knows just which colors to put together to get a new color. And he's learned new shapes that he didn't know before (and it's just cute to hear him try and say "trapezoid"). As with any show my child watches, I watch with him and we talk about it all. He learns so much more that way. The fact that he enjoys the show makes it fun for both of us.』
(One of the best Blue's Clues ever!) 『This one is definitely one of the most played ever in our house - it entertains and teaches color and shape contents alike with fun songs, games and the usual Blue's Clues clue hunt. If you're not sure whether this series is for your toddler - go ahead and get this one. The colors are not just the regular blue, yellow and red but wonderful shades like chartreuse and aquamarine :-D As I always watch every video with my kids at least for the first time I highly recommend this one as one of my all time favorites out of the Blue's Clues series and general childrens videos as well.』 『Joe and his friend Blue tackle the preschool basics of circles, rectangles, even trapezoids while sorting through Blue's hints as to where she would like most to see more shapes in "Shape Searchers." If the clues cash register, cart, and food don't add up for you, the kid chorus will help you out. The second episode finds the pair in their backyard making a "portrait of pals," a painting of their many-colored friends. But they only have primary colors, so in order to paint Orange Kitten, for instance, they have to mix red and yellow. Joe makes the most of this opportunity for a color lesson with the assistance of Shovel, who turns out to be a superb artist without the help of a brush. Who knew? Usually ships in 24 hours IPhone 3G used's review (A Disappointment) 『This was truly a disappointment. I have always liked Robin Williams' movies however I did not realize the foul nature of his "humor". Not only was the language a self-contest of how many foul words could he condense within a given time period, but the humor was dry to non-existant. I really tried to finish the dvd, like a bad movie you hope to find some redemptive value in; but could not. Even my 26 year old son didn't find it humorous. Robin should stick to movies.』
(Hilarious but dirty) 『I have watched this video over and over. I don't think it will ever get old. Be ready for nonstop comedy. There is not a moment where you are not laughing. Robin Williams uses very strong language in his stand up routine however, so this may not be for the whole family. Much of his humor is sexual, hence the TV MA rating. If you like that kind of humor, you will not be disappointed.』
(Duck! Here's Robin!) 『Robin Williams is a brilliant stand-up comic, a highly original talent who gives an over-the-top, irreverent, profane, iconoclastic, hilarious performance. It's a very funny show. Williams is alone on the large stage, his only prop being a small table loaded with bottles of mineral water. He is constantly gulping and spilling water while he sweats profusely. The bottles are used at times very comedically to demonstrate various functions. Williams has a myriad of targets: the haughty French, President Bush, Osama bin Laden, the augmentation of body parts, cats staking out their territory, Viagra, the child molestation scandal involving priests, various churches and denominations, his own hairiness, etc. The list is long. His delivery is rapid-fire, frenetic, and sometimes too hectic and too harrowing. He is trying hard, sometimes working too hard for laughs, but he almost always hits a homer. It's definitely not for the kiddies or for the prudish or linguistically timid. Little is sacred. It's a very visual, animated type of humor which relies on his actions as well as his words. An audio version would not do it justice. He's crude; he's coarse, but not as wild in his use of profanity as George Carlin. He returns to certain themes and riffs with the French coming in for extra jabs. It's a broad type of almost slapstick humor that doesn't seem as satiric as just plain funny. He'll do almost anything for laughs, with the visual often topping the linguistic. Nine Lives Too Many The Daemon in Our Dreams The Rice Queen Spy Clawed Back from the Dead』
(robin williams on broadway) 『I always like Robin Williams stuff....even when his shirt is literally dripping sweat like on here!』
(Robin) 『This is one of his best stand ups. If you have not seen it you should.』 『Studio: Sony Music Release Date: 02/24/2004』 『Sharper and deeper than Robin Williams's previous road material,Live on Broadwayis a mature comedian's view of all things to do with power, prejudice, and paranoia in the 21st century. On the anthrax scare of 2001: "The Senate cleared out of their building but told the rest of us, 'Get on with your normal lives!'" On his solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict over Jerusalem: "Time share!" On the pitfalls of America's deepening alliance with Britain: "The House of Commons is like Congress with a two-drink minimum." A viewer may have to slog through Williams's tedious breast fetishism, but patience is quickly rewarded with bitchy takes on Martha Stewart facing prison, solid satire about French existentialist judges at the Olympics, and subversive op-eds about the Bush administration's inability to clarify terrorist threats to the public ("Has the CIA become the Central Intuitive Agency?").--Tom Keogh』
IPhone 3G used's review (Great collection of Disney Christmas movies featuring Mickey and friends!) 『The joys and lessons of Christmases past are revisited in three enchanting, lesson-filled tales featuring Disney's favorite cartoon characters - in the first story, Donald's nephews, Huey, Dewey and Louie remember the time they wished Christmas was every day and it came true! As they relive Christmas day over and over again, the fun soon turns monotonous and boring, and along the way, the boys learn the true meaning of Christmas.
In the second story, Goofy and his son Max confront the 'myth' of Santa Claus - Goofy is a true believer and Max turns out to be skeptic after next door neighbor Pete tells him Santa isn't real. It takes a lot of effort and some magic before Max comes around:)
In the last story, Mickey and Minnie play down-on-their luck sweethearts whose purse strings won't stretch to give each other a special present, and so they decide to sacrifice something precious belonging to each of them to please the other - this truly encapsulates the lesson of Christmas - that it is better to give than to receive, and of noble sacrifice.
All in all, my family really enjoyed the movies - charming Disney animation with time-honored lessons of what Christmas is all about!』
(Solid Disney Effort....) 『I have wanted this dvd for quite sometime and finally bit the bullet and I was not disappointed.
Once Upon A Christmas is made up of three tales featuring classic Disney characters that include: Donald and Daisy Duck, Huey, Dewey and Louie, Mickey and Minne Mouse, Goofy and Max.
From a heartwarming tale of gifts from the heart (Mickey and Minnie) to is there a Santa (Goofy and Max) to neverending Christmas (all the Ducks), this a great flick for all ages.
Special features include, two sing a longs, previews and a dvd storybook.
A good deal all around. I highly recommend this dvd.
Merry Christmas!』
(confusing category) 『The term classic is apparently meaningless? I would appreciate it if you would define your categories, or at least prominantly display the date of the original issue of a work so that those of us who enjoy only vintage Disney animation could quickly eliminate those of no interest, especially those with tacky, boring computer animation.』
(Mickey's Once Upon a Christmas) 『Good condition when it arrived. I'm very happy with the results of my buying experience with this seller.』
(Mickey's Christmas...a must!) 『I love this movie! My kids do too. You can't have christmas without a good christmas movie and this one is at the top of our list every year!』 『Donald Duck's nephews learn why holidays come once a year, Goofy and son discover the spirit of Santa, and Mickey and Minnie reenact a classic tale of giving in this all-new holiday offering. Kelsey Grammer (TV'sFrasier) narrates as Donald hosts Christmas at his house, complete with an egg and pancake breakfast, a sled for each duckling in the closet, and Daisy under the mistletoe. But the celebration gets old fast when the boys' wish for Christmas every day comes true. Next up, Goofy's son wonders whether there is a Santa after the villainous Pete tells him there's not and he catches Dad impersonating the portly gift-giver. Goofy demonstrates the spirit of giving by taking a meal and presents to less-fortunate neighbors, and many Goofy-style mishaps later, father and son have a surprise visitor. In the third story, the mouse lovebirds give an updated spin to O. Henry's "The Gift of the Magi," with Minnie having the heirloom watch with no chain and Mickey a harmonica with no case. This trio of Christmas stories adds up to an hour of heartfelt fun, capped off by the gang singing "Jingle Bells." Perfect holiday cheer for those 4 and up.--Kimberly Heinrichs』
IPhone 3G used's review (I love it) 『This is the first firm video I bought and used, it is my favorite. It is a bout 62 minutes so you need to prepare for that, however when I am short on time you can do the first 30 minutes or skip parts, it is made in sections so its easy to do. When I first did this workout the only other previous training I had was slim-n-six. Going from the hardest video in the slim-n-six to the firm was easy and some of the moves were the same. With the firm though I was really tired by the end of the running in place bit (10-15 min. into it) and couldn't finish most of the moves. It worked me out harder than I expected, especially since I could completely finish the hardest one in slim-n-six! It wasn't so hard though that I felt I would never be able to do it, with in 2-3 weeks I could it fine. If something doesn't feel right I just slightly modify it so it feels comfortable (with pillows or I don't go as low, etc.). Susan Harris does a great job queuing and she has a personality, I love it when she says "Its hard Ay?" If you have no experience then just do what you can and don't use weights! Stop if you need to and just keep going! 』
(Superior Results from a Classic Work Out) 『There are some dated elements to this video like the clothing and hair styles, but the the work out is fundamentally effective and enjoyable. Susan Harris is a true master of her craft and delivers a humble and comprehensive lead to a vigerous work out. If you use this work out 4 - 5 times per week you will see surprising results. I love the music they have with this video. Like so many other things, they just don't make them like they used to... This video is 20 years old and is top notch to this day.』
(Little Asian Review, Oklahoma city.) 『Hey, I am back again buying the same tape..Out of all the firm videos, this was my only favorite. Mine was all sctrached out and can't make a copy..If you are motivated and patience this tape can make you feel like to the bone..ouch!!!worthed!! and feel good about yourself..In time you fine all those, 3, 5, 8, and 10 pounds easier and increase to heavier pound..Sounded like I am advertising..I am just a normal little asian person...Have fun!!』
(Best lower body shaper!) 『I have all of the new and all of the classic videos. By far, if you want a great workout dont wast your money on the new videos, spend it on completing your classic firm collection. This workout is so tough, but it gets easier. And when it does add more weights. Would definatly recommend to beginers to advanced.[...]』
(Best Workout EVER!) 『I started working out with Jane Fonda at 20 years old after having my first child, and between her tape and Richard Simmons, I got back into shape. Shortly thereafter, I discovered Susan Harris's Total Body workout, I couldn't believe how difficult it was! I have continued using this tape now for about 25 years and even compared to all the new workouts (including Tae-Bo) and including personal training at the gym, I can honestly say that this workout is still one of the most challenging workouts I've done! I try and do it once a week mixed in with other workouts, and it definitely does the trick! It's old and a little hokey, but it's effective! I wish they would put it on DVD!』 『Interval workouts incorporate a variety of activities that are powerful and short in duration. These intervals create an anaerobic workout that forces the body to adjust to variations of intensity and motion. Interval training has the real potential to burn fat and build strength. The Firm: Body Sculpting Basicsutilizes these same aerobic and anaerobic components to create a 60-minute workout that promotes strength and stamina. Instructor Susan Harris presents simple dance-style aerobic combinations and weightlifting techniques that are sure to make you break a sweat. This video is somewhat dated (lots of '80s-style leg warmers and traditional dance aerobic movements), but the content is so stellar that it would more appropriately be coined as a fitness classic. Pliés, squats, and split-leg lunges work the major muscles of the lower body, while lateral raises, curls, and push-ups concentrate on the upper body. Light weights (5 to 8 pounds) are used throughout this workout, and a set of ankle weights may be helpful if you are looking for a challenge. Cueing comes quickly and Harris does not give much information on form or body alignment. Therefore, beginners should watch the informational portion of this video (the segment immediately before the workout) in order to train as confidently and safely as possible. This is a brilliantly designed program thatmerges weight training and cardio in an effective and approachable (not to mention quick) package.--Olivia Voigts』
IPhone 3G used's review (Good broad history, Compelling and concise. . .) 『As for the person who complained that Martin Scorcese called the '80's the "me" decade, that was a popular theme of the time. Maybe you should go back and look at 80's and the literature about it from all kind of sources. Just like the 20's was often refered to as the "Roaring" 20's. 80's was often called the "me" decade. I also think it is not a liberal or conservative designation. Following the internalization of values and desires in the 70's, the 80's was when technology, growth, income and development all led to the application of the 70's trend of an individual ethic. People DID become more selfish and self centered, more complacent, in need of more instant gratification.』
(STARTING TO WORRY) 『I have used this series for a few years now and have had great success with it. Not just the old school compilation of talking heads, but an engaging, well-paced documentary. However, as others have said, I am getting concerned about its availability in the future when VHS players go the way of the 8-track. Anyone out there know of plans to put this on DVD?』
(History with Emotion) 『This series is so helpful to recall the chronological order of all of the things once learned in history classes at school. Hoever this series not only gives the facts, but adds a personal element to it by interviewing average citizens who remember the historic events recalled. By no means is this your "boring documentary". I have seen the series several times, and I still learn new things, and I still moved everytime, at the strength of our country and the tremendous blessing it is to live here.』
(Brings History to life) 『My teacher showed this video in class and everyone in class enjoyed it immensly. I can't wait to watch it again. A great keepsake.』
(A Good History of the US - If You're Michael Moore) 『As a couple of other reviewers indicated, this video set does a fair job hitting on all the major events affecting America in the twentieth century, but can't resist dwelling on all the ills - especially those of the Reagan era. The low point was Martin Scorcese's appraisal of the 1980's as being the "me decade" full of greed. Who made him an authority and why doesn't anyone in the media ever see the 1990's the same way, when the US was even more prosperous?
DON'T confuse this set with the other 12-volume set, "The Century," which addressed broader, global issues. THAT set is FAR SUPERIOR to "America's Time," especially the episodes on Hitler's rise to power, Lindberg's crossing the Atlantic, and the fall of South Vietnam.』 『Covering the entire 20th century in one video series is an ambitious project, but one that Peter Jennings and ABC News are up to. InThe Century: America's Time, a 12-part documentary on six videotapes that is a companion to the book of the same name, Jennings guides us through a century of technology and advancement like no other. As he says in his introduction to episode 1, "Seeds of Change," "Unlike previous centuries where leadership was defined by royalty and other rulers, the 20th century more than any other was shaped by the will and actions of the common man." The series is a sweeping presentation of the United States of the 1900s and tries to encompass a mind-boggling amount of history. And while at moments the videos may leave you longing for more, Jennings does an excellent job of creating smooth segues between disparate pieces.
The first episode, for instance, begins with the influx of immigrants at the turn of the century and touches on Jim Crow laws, moving pictures, planes, Henry Ford, the sinking of the USSMaine, child labor, suffragettes, the Panama Canal, imperialism, and more, right up to the beginning of World War I. The archival footage is stunning and interviews with historians, veterans, journalists, POWs, politicians, authors, celebrities, and common people help bring the past to life again. Mickey Spillane discusses the speakeasies of the 1920s; Dennis Hopper talks aboutEasy Riderin the '60s; Tom Wolfe reads fromThe Bonfire of the Vanitiesfor the episode on the '80s. Eudora Welty, E.L. Doctorow, Martin Scorsese, John Updike, Pat Buchanan, Oliver Stone, Stephen E. Ambrose, among many others, lend their voices to this documentary. Yet, despite the great names, at times the pictures and people are allowed to speak for themselves, without intrusive narration--the stark images of theChallengerexplosion or the sad words of a political activist mourning the death of his partner to AIDS are more powerful because of it. This chronological tale (with the exception of the last episode, "Then and Now," which is arranged thematically) is an insightful and poignant reminder of all the marvels--and tragedies--of America in the 20th century.--Jenny Brown』
