Megabrite
Usually ships in 24 hours IPhone 3G used's review (Excellent low power solution for a nightlight) 『Normal nightlights draw more on the order of 5W however, these very bright LED lights only draw 0.6W per light. You can choose between seven colors for every single light, or have them cycle between colors. In addition, you can also select the actual brightness of the light.
I bought several packs and have lights in every single room. It provides a very nice ambiance as well as being able to find your way through the house at night without disturbing anyone, and with a very low environmental/energy bill impact.』
(best nightlight ever!) 『changes diffrent colors doesnt take much power when its on.. it turns it self on when it gets dark.. what more can i say its a better then a normal nightlight.』
(lete there be lite) 『Really like the megabrite nite lite. Have one in most rooms in the house. Some of ours started malfunctioning after 2 years. Want to ge more, but can not find them.
Will you please let me know when they are back in stock?』
(Unusual alternative) 『Very attractive night light and much more interesting than the usual stark white lights. Actually quite a conversation piece. 』
(Night Light) 『I like the idea that you can change the color of the night light. Some colors are brighter than others, but it still gives off a good light.』
IPhone 3G used's review (Good, but with a couple problems) 『The clock is nice and small, with a surprisingly readable display for its size. The fun gimmick is that you can change the color of the display. One neat but not particularly useful feature is that it shows you the calendar date with day of week along with the time. I also like that the button cover, when pressed, is one big snooze bar. And the setting of the time/alarm is nice and fast, scrolling through numbers quickly.
Two problems I have: to open the button cover, you need to use two hands, because the cover is too firmly attached and the clock doesn't weigh enough. So, you can reach over with one hand and smack the cover to snooze, but to actually push the switch to turn off the alarm, you have to use two hands. Second problem is that it's not quite loud enough. I like that the alarm starts quiet and gets louder, but if I'm really dead asleep and underslept, it never gets quite loud enough to wake me. Good enough for most days, but scary on those days when I went to sleep way too late and really need to be up in the morning.』
(Excellent clock) 『It is small, but definitely mighty. The best feature of this clock is that you can have the display dark, so if you like sleeping in the dark, it is easy to turn off the display. I've been looking for that feature for a while now. I purchased this clock for my daughter, and when I realized it had this feature, I bought another one for me!』
(Small, bright, fully functional) 『I like the small size of this item--it doesn't take up much room on my bedside table. You can change the color of the digital display, and it tells you not only the time (to the second) but also the day and date. Great little gizmo.』
(Dimensions are incorrect in product description, very bright) 『The clock is 3 1/4 x 3 1/2 x 2 inches, not the size listed in the description. The display is very bright. Good if you want a clock that is also a night light, bad if you like a dark room to sleep in. If you turn off the multi-colored back light, you can not see the display at all. The controls are easy to figure out. The buttons are under a cover. With the cover closed, when you push the top, only the snooze button gets pushed, since it is right up against the cover. A good idea so you don't accidentally press something else while fumbling for the snooze button.』
(Good alarm) 『I purchased this alarm a while ago and I think it's great. it's small enough to fit in your hand, and has seven different color options for the main screen: red, blue, green, yellow(kind of a darker golden yellow with light yellow numbers), purple, teal, and black with white numbers. this alarm has one volume and my only complaint is that after about two minutes of beeping, it automatically goes into snooze and will go off again in five minutes. This does have the option of using a battery( one AAA)so if the power goes out, or it's unplugged, it won't have to be reset. I keep this alarm close to my bed but I don't like light shining in my face while I'm trying to sleep so I like that the alarm has the option of turning its light from the main screen off. Overall a very decent alarm. I recommend it.』 『Elgin, .6" LCD Color Changing Electric Alarm Clock, 7 Selectable Display Colors, Displays Day, Month,&Date, Repeating Snooze, Silver Case, Battery Backup Uses 1 "AA" Battery.』
IPhone 3G used's review (My Rights Still Are There - Rly.) 『To those who seem to lose their rights shortly after the cups first wash: WHAT THE HECK ARE YOU DOING TO THE POOR COFFEE CUP?! IT DOES NOT NEED TO BE POWER WASHED.
With that finished, let this exciting review begin.
When you pour FRESH coffee into it, and yes, coffee; reason being: coffee is the only drink worthy enough to be in it; the rights on the cup will disappear in accordance with those that disappear due to the Patriot Act. They fade away into a dim yellow, not exactly white but close enough.
I use Dawn Foaming-Action soap on this cup with a typical sponge. I do not see the need for using a power washer like other reviewers, grease remover, wire brush, etc. You just simply wash out the inside, sponge it a bit, then run the sponge carefully over the rights once or twice and then focus the sponge around where you put your mouth on. Simple as that.
If you drink very sticky and obnoxious things that require a different cup or leave things to mold in cups - this cup is not for you because you'd wash the rights off cleaning it. :3』
(Very funny mug!) 『This mug is very funny. It says on the box not to machine wash and I've washed mine (by hand) dozens of times. I chuckle (and shiver with fear a little) everytime I use it!』
(All of my liberties disappeared...) 『...and I didn't even wash it in the dishwasher! A few washings in the sink was all it took and I've now got a white mug with some errant letters on it.
A rather expensive wash-out...』
(Not dishwasher safe) 『This is a great little mug, gave me quite a chuckle when I poured coffee in it and sure enough, my civil liberties began to fade and disappear. Unfortunately, my son ran it through a cycle in the dishwasher and my liberties vanished forever!!
I'm buying another one for the latest lawyer in the family with the warning: " Liberties at stake..DO NOT PUT IN THE DISHWASHER! HAND WASH ONLY!"
』 『This hilarious Disappearing Civil Liberties Mug will give you a rude awakening every morning as you watch your rights disappear with your cup of coffee. Pour in a hot beverage and the heat-sensitive Bill of Rights fades away to nothing! Perfect for the politics buff, activist, skeptic, or conspiracy theorist in your life!』

It's one of the few toddler DVDs that hasn't gotten old for me. Elmo in Grouchland is our 2nd all-time favorite.』
(Neat new version of an old classic.) 『This is a great movie for my just-turned two year old. She absolutely loves it and we adults enjoy it too. For fans of sesame street, it's wonderful to see how the different characters of that show are morphed into the different characters of Alice in Wonderland. They did a fabulous job.』
(Abby in Wonderland a hit with toddlers) 『This video is great for toddlers. My children love Elmo and now they love Abby too!』

Usually ships in 24 hours IPhone 3G used's review (passing the torch) 『My 11yr old daughter loved this set! She had been looking up clips on youtube, so I thought I would pass on the love of all things Jim Henson.... Fraggle Rock Rocks!!』
(stunning.... great present for kids) 『It has been more than 20 years since I saw fraggle rock for the first time... and the series is just as relevant, creative, and in an odd way moving. What I enjoyed as a kid, I can now appreciate as an adult. The puppetry is wonderful, the stories exciting but innocent, and the music, the music.... some of those songs have been floating around in my head for two and a half decades... a lot went into this show that just doesn't get done now.
I'll be buying this for all the children in my life. It is the best of childrens television, and is truly uplifting.
』
(excellent) 『I hadn't watched this since childhood and I was reminded of how well done this series was. It is good for kids of all ages!』
(Fraggle Rock Year One) 『This set brought back fond memories for me and my children. What a wholesome prodect for young children!』
(Wonderful!) 『This is a wonderful addition to our collection. I grew up with Fraggle Rock and I'd like my son to be able to watch it also. I'm very pleased with this product!』 『The world of Jim Henson'sFraggle Rockis far from the sunny urban buzz ofSesame Street, where many of Henson's most beloved Muppet characters dwell, or the frantic, backstage shenanigans ofThe Muppet Show, the classic variety program starring Kermit, Miss Piggy, and other icons of children's television. InFraggle Rock, humans and Muppets live in different worlds. So different, in fact, that the Fraggles--small but diverse creatures who live in a cavernous land behind a wall in the shop of a tinkerer named Doc (Gerry Parkes)--regard the realm of flesh-and-blood people as "outer space."
Fraggles and people live apart, but the order of things is shaken up when the series' central character, Gobo, can't talk his determined uncle, Traveling Matt, from being the first of his kind to explore the great unknown. Matt leaves Fraggle Rock with a promise to get word to Gobo about how things are going. Thereafter, Gobo has to find a way, from time to time, to fetch postcards from Doc's trash can (Doc can't figure out why missives from someone named Uncle Matt keep turning up in his mailbox) by dashing into the tinkerer's warm workshop, avoiding not only Doc's eyes but the suspicions of his wonderful dog, Sprocket. (Doc mutters occasionally about boarding up a hole in the wall that serves as Gobo's door. When he finally does so, mid-season, it poses a crisis for Gobo, who is caught on the wrong side.) While Traveling Matt sees what people are like, Gobo and his fellow Fraggles--Red, Wembley, Boober, Mokey, and others--have adventures (and some misadventures) of their own, trying to get along, learning to say what they mean and how to avoid making the same mistake twice. Over time, they begin to ponder the big questions of their world and lives, questions that have an ethical subtext that can easily be appreciated by young viewers. Such as: Is it okay to eat elaborate structures built by Doozers, small construction builders whose materials apparently are so tasty? Should one ever trick a friend so seriously the latter actually grieves? Helping the Fraggles with these tough issues is all-knowing Marjory the Trash Heap, guru of garbage and life lessons. Not helpful by any stretch are the problematic Gorgs, giants who want to enslave Fraggles and who consider themselves royalty of the universe (such as it is behind Doc's wall). Each busy episode is designed to impart wisdom to kids, but they are also as funny as one might expect from the wisecracking Muppet Factory. Bonuses include recent interviews with cast and crew of the 1980s show, as well as a documentary about Henson.--Tom Keogh』

Wembley is a very grand, and fitting venue for one of the greatest live rock bands out there today. I also saw this show on Broadway recently and I fell in love with the charaters all over again. I had to own the movie/Platinum Edition DVD following seeing the show. One of my favorites. The bonus disc is great fun too !』

IPhone 3G used's review (Englishgeek) 『I grew up in the 70's and 80's watching School House Rock. My favorites have always been "Interjection," "Lolly Lolly Get Your Adverbs Here," "Unpack Your Adjectives." Today, I teach College Prep Writing at a community college, and I introduce my students to the parts of speech with this video. And when I do, I always hear the comments from the back of the room, "Oh my God, she's even singing along." These songs work wonders even for adults. Later on, when we get more in depth, all I have to say is "Lolly Lolly" and students start singing themselves.』
(Great Refresher for Adults) 『I work with many adult college students who do not remember basic grammar. I often recommend they buy this for a quick, basic grammar review. It sounds silly when I first say it, but this is a fun and memorable way to understand grammar. Many students report watching it with their children. It's also very helpful for ESL students.』
(Schoolhouse Rock! Grammar Rock) 『Here's a quick fix or review for those children struggling with understanding grammar. Because of the easy tunes and rhyming lyrics, children will quickly remember the correct ways to use nouns, pronouns, adjectives, adverbs, verbs, subjects, and predicates. Because of the age of the product, it has inherent problems. Grammar usage rules have changed over the years, so children may pick up some weak or incorrect ideas on usage. Although many of us remember "Conjunction Junction" with great delight, children need to recognize the new list of conjunctions. The video tends to stress passive writing over active writing. Bits of the language in the "Adjective" song allow kids to belittle or mock others. But the joy of learning through music--even with dated lyrics--allows for a meeting ground where parents can add to the learning process.』
(School House Rocks!) 『At my school we perform plays and School House Rock was one of them. This year was the year we performed it and it was a success. The play even helped me. Cause some of the things they said i didnt know. This Review will help you with choosing the best school related movie to help your child with school.
SCHOOL HOUSE ROCK ROCKS!』
(Now all I need is a video of "Time for Timer!") 『When my son was born, and only my singing seemed to comfort him, (my singing had never comforted anyone before...) I found myself singing "The Preamble" and "Conjunction Junction." I bought all four Schoolhouse Rock videos shortly afterwards.
He's three now, and this is his second favorite video.(after "Multiplication Rock")
He does, however, leave the room during "Busy Prepositions." I have no recollection of this one, and it doesn't measure up to the rest of the songs. I was surprised to find it was written by Bob Dorough, who wrote most of the others.
One miss, and eight hits should still warrant a five star rating. "Unpack Your Adjectives," "Lolly, Lolly, Lolly, Get Your Adverbs Here," "Conjunction Junction," "Interjections," "Rufus Xavier Sarsaparilla," "Verb: That's What's Happening," "A Noun is a Person Place Or Thing," and the fabulous "The Tale of Mr. Morton" are all classics.
』 『There are two types of Schoolhouse Rock fans. Type A: those who--inspired in the '70s and '80s by "Conjunction Junction" and "Interjections!"--went on to become grammar gurus, copyeditors, and computational linguists. And type B: those who--less inspired by grammar than by catchy refrains--can still sing lines that today sound less than P.C.:
Though Geraldine played hard to get (uh huh), Geraldo knew he'd woo her yet. He showed his affection, Despite her objection, And Geraldine hollered some interjections!
(Geraldo, if you'll recall, is a goat.) No matter. Both kinds of fans will enjoy revisiting these Saturday-morning shorts--and hopefully this video will find its way into classrooms, to boot. Clever teachers who grew up on this stuff will know how to make Schoolhouse Rock fans (ideally of type A) out of the next generation, too.--Erik Macki』
IPhone 3G used's review (Another strong Disney release from the 90s.) 『he only thing that I don't like about these Disney DVDs is that they're all SO expensive!!!
Some new DVDs are 15 bucks, but the Disney ones are always 19 bucks +. I don't understand it. Can't a kid buy a Disney DVD for 15 or so bucks anymore? Guess that answer is NO.
Disney's "The Little Mermaid" mostly takes place in the sea.
Ariel, who is 16, is very stubborn and headstrong, and disobeys her Father, King Triton at every opportunity.
She's lovely though; smart, curious and representing for the pretty, red-heads. :P
She meets the dashingly handsome prince, Eric, and falls head over heels. She even makes a "fatal" deal to give up her sweet, uplifting and downright beautiful voice to the treacherous Witch of the Seas, Ursula. But that in turn, gives her a chance to love a human...But was it worth it?
Once she gets legs the story seems to lag (just a bit) but one of the highlights was how excited she was to see Eric's world she's been dreaming of for a while. She gets to command a horse and carriage, gets the wear a dress for the first time and embarrasses herself many times. For some, this part will be a true highlight.
The movie is more or less enjoyable from start to finish.
I'd recommend any kid to watch this unless they have a short attention span.
Not as good as The Lion King or Shrek, but better than Pocahontas, Toy Story and Ice Age.
4.5 stars.
End note: Part Of Your World is a breath-taking experience and alone boosts the score considerably. Very moving and emotional.』
(Great) 『The top evidence of a great DISNEY movie? A preeteen / teen saying it rocks. Which I am willing to give. When I was 3, I LOVED this movie. I mean, that's all I would watch. And then, just as a "nbody's going to see me anyay, why not?" mood, I saw it again. And fell in love with it. Again. Jodi Benson - spectacular. She deserved, like, 5 Academy Awards. The rest of the quirky cast? Why are there not more than one "Best supporting actor/actress"? The animation spetacular. The storyline - ths is why I love it. The storey line isnt about some pathetic female waiting for a prince or a faerie godmother, no-siree. The only thing old and magical is the witch, thank heaven. Sure, ther's a boy, but - he has a nice dog. I love dogs, so I kinda thought he was OK at the dog part. MAybe I cracked a few "Omigosh, Ariel's like Lydia from Pride And Prejiduce" jokes, but still. I lov this movie. When will more like it come out?』
(one of the best animated Disney features of all time.....) 『You know I couldn't write reviews of almost every other film I have seen, and leave this one out! I remember the day I saw this film for the first time, when I was about seven years old. It was one of those films you never forget. I had the great fortune to see "The Little Mermaid" in the theatre (which is how it SHOULD be seen). Not only is the animation spectacular and absolutely stunning (this was before the introduction to computer animation, that is so widely used today), but the actors providing the voices for the characters are wonderful.
Ariel (voice of Jodi Benson) is a beautiful, headstrong 16 year old mermaid who wants nothing more but to live with the land dwellers and be a "Part of their world" (to paraphrase on of the most well known songs from the film). Her father, King Triton (Kenneth Mars), knows all too well the stark reality of the fish eating, two legged creatures and doesn't want his daughter to experience the pain of being an outsider, nor does he want her to put herself in harm's way. Nothing will stop Ariel when she experiences love at first sight, after rescuing a very handsome young prince from near-fatal drowning.
I won't get long winded on you, as far as plot details are concerned. All I am going to say is this......this is a MUST SEE. "The Little Mermaid" can be enjoyed by people of all generations, and will leave you with memorable tunes, a song in your heart and a smile on your lips. *two BIG thumbs up*』
(Yay!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) 『THE LITTLE MERMAID is the first movie I ever remember owning. Since then,I've watched a good dozen times, and it still gets me every time. I still howl with laughter at the antics of Sebastian and Flounder(he's so cute!), sigh romantically as Ariel sings to Eric on the beach(ARIEL RULES!!!!), boo(then cheer later)at King Triton, and shudder as Ursula makes her plans for "triton's undoing"! The wonderful music and lyrics by Howard Ashman and Alan Menken make me dance around singing. It belongs with all the classic Disney films. All in all, a wonderful film. 』
