They work superbly, removing smudges and fingerprints from lenses of all kinds. Easily washed and fully functional afterward, they last years. That's a good thing because I couldn't find them for years until I thought to query Amazon (yes, I'm dim).』

I learned the hard way - fresh out of the pack the wipes were great - I have been struggling to find something to clean my expensive eye-glasses, plus other lenses. I thought I finally found what I need...BUT...
After a couple days I used the cloth and it scratched up the surface with little "micro" scratches - like the surface was roughed with sandpaper. So my glasses are not sharp anymore. Ruined. Then I read the fine print in back - dust must collect on the cloth and then ruin everything.
Frankly, only disposable cloth makes sense because of this. PLEASE DON'T RUIN YOUR EXPENSIVE LENSES!!! Be CAREFUL with these. Sorry 3M - nice try - but need a disposable version.』

Love the old charcters, Harry Monster, Grover (suppose he is still around but it seems Elmo hijacked his spot), overall just the flow of it - good stuff.
They make learning fun - well, in truth the kids dont know they are learning, but they are counting&subtracting, etc. without even realizing it. Thats how learning should be.
Personally I love the hippie style - Im laid back and loose, so I suppose this affects the kids as well. (i.e., if your not laid back as well and take things lightly, you may need to stick to modern Elmo.)
Also, our kids dont watch much t.v. - most kids who over zone on todays t.v. probably wouldnt care and even begin to relate to the presentation of old school.
I say they need to release a pack of all the episodes...no biggy really...just not sure if they think they can get their money back on it...they are focused and pressing on with the cleaned up version of todays sesame street - no rought talk or frustrated Don Music there. lol

(Love Sesame Street?) 『I love this as much, if not more, than my kids. Not only do I feel nastalgic for the good ol' days, but it reminds me of why Sesame Street was created. Some of the greatest and most memorable segments are in here. I haven't watched the first season because I think this is closer to the time when I was a kid and all the kinks from the first season would have been worked out by the second season. I just love Grover and Prairie Don, Bert and Ernie. You can see that some of these characters have just about disappeared these days through the inclusion of Elmo's world and all the things they do with new characters. While I don't mind them, I miss the guys I grew up with. This is great to break out when you've watched re-runs too many times! I end up sitting down and watching the show with the kids, and they like that as well!』

Most stuff these days are nothing more than CGI with no story or real entertainment value (Ice Age, Cars, Skrek, the Disney channel). I really enjoy this because it is very creative. They are on a really tight budget, but they do a good job putting together all sorts of different skits and songs with a lot of variety. And I even get a legitimate chuckle every now and then--unlike the eye-rolling lame jokes on Hannah Montana. The new songs don't flow well, and the differences in animation are jarring at best. I really can't see why they changed it at all, except maybe to lengthen it. I just shelved my DVD and ordered another VHS to replace my old one. I don't think the DVD wil get pulled out anytime soon....』

The twist is a reversal of the first, but its nice to see my favorite characters together. I really love it that all (at least I think) came back to do the second. A good sequel in my opinion is when all the orginal voices come together again. Its probably why I didn't care for "The Return of Jaffar", cause Genie's voice wasn't the same. Anyways, there are new characters, which add humor to it. I would only recommend this if someone was a die hard fan of the orginal like I am.』
