Also when it's not completely full it produces this annoying clicking sound. It has a very small reserve and needs to be refilled often so the clicking can get to be constant. Other than that, it's very nice looking and matches with the stainless items in my kitchen.』

(The Drinkwell Platinum is much better and cleaner product) 『We previously we had this model (the Petmate Deluxe Fresh Flow) for about 2 years. The motor ran well and it never broke, so I gave it 2 stars. But it is an older outdated model and our pet store stopped carrying the filters. So I decided to upgrade to a newer product, the Drinkwell Platinum fountain. Drinkwell Platinum Pet Fountain
I would definitely recommend the Drinkwell and NOT this product. The new Drinkwell has been wonderful because I've definitely seen all three of my cats drinking MUCH more water in the last two weeks than with the Petmate fountain. I can promise you I've found the proof in the litter boxes.
The Drinkwell's water stream is much stronger and circulates the water better than the Petmate. It gives the water the power to move most of the debris toward the little trap. That keeps the water bowl so much cleaner; where as with the Petmate, the debris would circulate until it either sank to the bottom or stuck to the bowl walls. In addition, the Drinkwell's filter is designed SO much better (6 tightly divided coal sections). The coal in the Petmate's filter fabric was loose which would allow the coal to clump at the bottom, and water would flow up and over, not through the coal (i believe this filter is divided into 2 sections).
Also, the Drinkwell also holds a lot more water. Both products are dishwasher safe, so regular washing is easy for either. However, I can say the old Petmate has many tiny corners which made it a pain when it came to scrubbing off the mineral deposit build up (but my guess is the new one will be too).
I would recommend paying the extra $20 and going for the Drinkwell Platinum and staying away from this old model.』

Much preferable to the other A Little Princess movie (although my wife disagrees).』
(Not 'A Little Princess'! Not even close!) 『Don't waste your money on this mess. Perhaps someday someone will make a version of 'A Little Princess' that's worthy of the name, but this isn't it. The only resemblance between this production and Frances Hodgson Burnett's 'A Little Princess', aside from the title, is the fact that it has characters named Sara, Ram Das, and Miss Minchin, and the only reason this gets any star at all is because Amazon will not let me give it no stars. All the artful camera work in the world cannot make this dreck into proper telling of 'A Little Princess'. It hasn't the magic.
What was Cuarón thinking? Did he even read the book? If so, he didn't understand it. No dead father? No London setting? No Cockney Beckey? No money-grubbing, toading from Miss Minchin? No fabulous clothes and furs at the front of the line? No suffering prisoners in the Bastille and no fortuitous findingof the four-pence? Wrong, wrong, wrong!
Instead of mysterious diamond mines we are given crackers! Seriously. Crackers! Instead Mr. Carrisford's dramatic recovery and Ram Das confessing how he created 'magic', we're given a tawdry police pursuit in the rain and a soap-opera amnesia plot point. Instead of kind, wise, insightful, introspective and thoughtful Princess Sara, we have foisted on us a prank playing, spiteful retorting, 'curse' slinging pretender to the throne who would never care enough for the general populace to make arrangements to give bread (or even crackers) to the poor.
And we have thrust down our throats repeatedly the mantra that, "every girl is a princess", apparently no matter how spiteful, unkind, or common her behavior. Sarah's princess-like nature was supposed to be what set her apart from the common girls, no matter her material circumstances. Talk about missing the point.

The location has been moved from London to New York, the characters are poorly developed--if developed at all, and there are many, many departures from the original book. Being a huge fan of the book, which is my all-time favorite children's book, I was extremely disappointed with this film. If you haven't read the book, you will probably enjoy this rendition very much, but if you love the story, you will feel ripped off. It is a terrific story that does not need the massive amount of tweaking that it endured in this film. In fact, the original tale is all but unrecognizable here. What a shame.』

But I have to say that I liked this movie MORE than Hard Day's Night. The gorgeous color and fun storyline were highly entertaining! This is my kind of movie. Quick little one liners, and funny little bits that if you blink you might miss them. Which also makes this film ideal for repeat viewing. The visuals are just outstanding, vibrant colors and great scenery! I highly recommend this film to even the most casual Beatle fan (if there is such a thing!!)』

It was a combination music video of the The Beatles performing their various songs in different locations and a movie about a group of evil religious zealots trying to steal one of Ringo's rings.
"Help!" is a really artsy film, where we see crazy, unrealistic antics happening repeatedly by all the cast members. The acting is bad in this film and the storyline is silly throughout. The music, costuming&make-up are the only redeeming features in this film.』

(Disney's Greatest Film) 『I have to admit, I'm an avid listener of classical music. So it's a small wonder why Disney's Fantasia is one of my favorite films. Every music sequence is pure gold (except maybe the Pastoral sequence).
Toccata and Fugue in D Minor by Johann Sebastian Bach = My second favorite sequence, it is a mixture of abstract colors&images, live action orchestral playing, and Stokowski's acclaimed orchestration of Bach's organ music.
Nutcracker Suite by Peter Illich Tchaikovsky = Although I'm not a fan of Tchaikovsky's ballet music, this one is very good and entertaining. The dancing of the fairies and flowers and mushrooms make for a heck of a good time for the whole family.
The Sorcerer's Apprentice by Paul Dukas = This is probably the most exciting rendition of Dukas's masterpiece I've ever heard (even though a few minutes of music has been cut out of it). Mickey the apprentice dreams of being a powerful sorcerer, so he dons the hat of his master, and lets loose his magic. But, of course, no one controls literally everything that is created . . .
Le Sacre du Printemps (The Rite of Spring) by Igor Stravinsky = This is my 3rd favorite out of all of them for two reasons. One is that Stravinsky is one of my all-time favorite composers, and two, The Rite of Spring is one of my all-time favorite pieces. Too bad that a mere ten minutes has been cut in order to save time. Dinosaurs, volcanoes, and earthquakes do seem to fit Stravinsky's music a bit, that I can tell you.
Symphony No. 6 "Pastoral" by Ludwig van Beethoven = This is probably the weakest of all the sequences. It's too cartoony, too bombastic, too cheery, and to many minutes of music have been cut out sadly. The storm scene is a nice touch, though.
Dance of the Hours by Amilcare Ponchielli = Gorgeous and downright hilarious. If you don't think hippo and ostrich ballet dancers is funny, then something is wrong with you.
A Night on Bald Mountain by Modest Mussorgsky/Ave Maria by Franz Schubert = Ah yes. My No. 1 favorite out of all of them. This didn't scare me as a kid for some reason. Chernobog is as creepy as The Horned King from "The Black Cauldron", and the demonic and ghostly dancing was (and still is) way ahead of its time. The last five minutes is beautiful and ethereal = they don't make them like they used to.

I'm a little sad that it never became truly the evolving work Disney dreamed, but this is still a wondrous collection of music and artwork--all done without the aid of computers. I think this was also my first dive into fantasy, what with the fairies and centaurs and all. Therefore, this is certainly a favorite I cannot do without, whether I'm truly studying it or just slipping it in to play in the background.』 『Groundbreaking on several counts, not the least of which was an innovative use of animation and stereophonic sound, this ambitious Disney feature has lost nothing to time since its release in 1940. Classical music was interpreted by Disney animators, resulting in surreal fantasy and playful escapism. The dvd looks to be in great shape. The price was about what I expected. Overall, all has been great. I just couldn't give the 5 stars yet because I haven't actually watched it.』

(A Classic) 『One of the best Disney movies, Beauty and the Beast (based on the fairytale of the same name) came during the golden years of the 90s where Disney could do no wrong. Along with the classic movie, you can watch the special edition (with a whole new animated song sequence thrown in almost seamlessly) or the in-progress edition which is self explanatory. My favorite extras were the character development sketches. It was amazing to see how much characters like the Beast, Gaston and LaFoo evolved from their original incarnations!』

I even e-mailed this person to ask if I could pay additional fees fro a faster mailing service. The e-mail was returned. I went to the store front for this individual and it was closed. Amazon stood beside thier policy and refunded my money. After that the DVD cam in 10 days late. I had already ordered another DVD. I have it now unopened If you want the DVD back say so. I do not need it.』
