Only New Age Music/Non Profit Music
Usually ships in 24 hours IPhone 3G used's review (The original sounds of four Spanish musicians) 『eMotive is a nonprofit music CD; all proceeds from its sales are to be donated to Doctors Without Borders. A compilation album, eMotive offers the original sounds of four Spanish musicians: Jorge Grundman, David "Gnomusy" Caballero, Eduardo Laguillo and Joaquin Taboada. Though all four musicians are primarily keyboardists, each applies a diverse medley of sound and instrumentation; vocals are also intermixed. The result is a New Age album that resonates within the soul as surely as within in the ears. The tracks are Raghupati Raghava (7:06), The Girl With The Stolen Smile - Nanjing, 1937 (5:42), Cliodhna (4:15), Everyday Heroes (5:02), El Jardin De Marta (3:33), Evoking Something Near (3:28), Tears At Bedtime (5:05), Dolmen Ridge (5:35), Gurudeva Hamara (4:58), Memory Holes (6:26), Forgotten Moss (3:07), and Ballerina (4:09). Highly recommended.』
(ALL PROFITS FOR DOCTORS WITHOUT BORDERS) 『This is a great new age/world compilation of various musical styles, spiritual and cultural influences. Eduardo Laguillo, a gifted musician from Spain contributes two vocal pieces in Sanskrit "Raghupati Raghava", "Gurudeva Hamara" and one instrumental track "El Jardín de Marta". Joaquín Taboada also from Spain contributes 3 classical influenced tracks, "Everyday Heroes", "Evoking something new" and "Forgotten Moss". Grundman, who also released We Are the Forthcoming Past, Take Care of It contributes a new track "The girl with the stolen smile" dedicated to the massacre in Nanjing 1937 and Gnomusy (David Caballero) who also released Ethereality contributes a new piece "Cliodhna" with a 5/8 rhythm, influenced by Celtic myth and Greek music. Non Profit Music donates all their profits from the sales of their albums to Doctors without Borders.』 『Non Profit Music (NPM), a privately owned record label, was born with the vision of helping people through humanitarian programs using the music sales of new emerging artists in the New Age and Contemporary Instrumental genres. Non Profit Music started in the Nineties when several indie music portals, such as mp3.com, provided many artists the opportunity of sharing their music while obtaining revenues from their digital downloads. As part of a personal self-commitment to humanitarian causes, one of these artists, Jorge Grundman, donated all proceeds obtained from royalties for music downloads on mp3.com to Doctors Without Borders (DWB) in Spain. After a resounding success on the Internet, Grundman decided in 2002 to create the Non Profit Music record label to officially launch his artistic career by releasing his first album We are the forthcoming past, take care of it. He also donated all profits from the sales of his album to DWB and opened new horizons to artists with similar interests. Non Profit Music artists have had continuous success online since the creation of the label. They have appeared on many mainstream TV shows, on radio and in press interviews in Spain and also internationally in Europe, Japan and, with the help of Only New Age Music, in the USA. NPM has been featured on many panels in Spain (Madrid and Barcelona) to present and explain the NPM philosophy and achievements with the support of the Spanish retail chain FNAC Music Superstores. In 2005, Non Profit Music signed an agreement of collaboration with Doctors Without Borders in Spain, and NPM made a formal donation to DWB. In addition, several humanitarian promotional activities were established including the permission to use the DWB logo on the NPM products packaging and the production of ongoing benefit concerts. Non Profit Music also has created the NPM Foundation, with a broader scope in its aim of music promotion and humanitarian help. Thus, a number of solidarity concerts have taken place with renowned artists such as Ara Malikian; and, in addition, the NPM Chamber Orchestra has been formed. Their album, Tears of Beauty, was launched in 2006, as well as the audiobook Con Los Nueve Sentidos (With the Nine Senses). This compilation, eMotive, is a selection of the most representative works of Non Profit Music artists, including music from already released albums as well as new tracks from upcoming releases.』
IPhone 3G used's review (My kids and I like this video) 『I have this and "Yoga Kids" and we like them both. My children are now 11, 8 and 6 but we've been using this since they were 2, 4 and 7. My guys like to watch it, like the music, sing the songs on their own now and then and like doing the poses. "Yoga Kids" might be better for beginners or kids new to yoga but we like them both fine. I didn't find anything "tasteless" or "creepy" about this video. I think it's perfectly fine for kids and I would recommend it to other parents.』
(What a joke!) 『I bought this video to begin yoga with my daughter and it was a huge disappointment. My three year old would not even watch for a minute.』
(Ewww!) 『The video was a mess from the beginning. The tape quality was extremely poor. The video had weird scenes like wind blowing very strong, I thought the kids would be blown into Oz. The instructor was performing poses that most children would not be able to do. The tone of the video was too strange for mainstream. I agree with the reviewers that called this video"creepy".』
(E-I-E-I Yoga) 『I love this video because it keeps my twin 2 year-old daughter and son interested while I stretch. Of course, it isn't like doing yoga on my own but that rarely happens. So, this is an excellent alternative. Plus I like the idea they are being introduced to yoga in a way they enjoy. One of the reasons it may be such a hit with my children is they love the song,"Old MacDonald". The video uses the farm/animal theme. My 2 year olds can't do all the postures but they do what they can and have fun doing it. Then we dance when the music speeds up and have a great time.』
(Best video I have ever bought) 『My oldest daughter loves this video so much. When the weather is bad I know she can still do some exercise and what a fun way to do it. She is getting better and better at the poses and it is presented in such a non-threatening way that she doesn't mind that she isn't as flexible of some of the kids on the video. I highly reccomend it. I enjoy doing the video with her, and my 4 year old is starting to do the poses as well.』 『Ei Ei Yoga provides children with a balanced and fun practice, combining 25 yoga postures that create strength, balance, flexibility and stamina.』
IPhone 3G used's review (Yoga for folks with limited flexibility) 『My library still has a copy of this. I've borrowed it a couple of times and finally decided to buy it. I hope it will become available -- either through re-issue or used copies. One review said it was too easy. For me, it was perfect -- my legs and hips just won't go in the directions most of the beginning yoga tapes (or classes) want them to go. Perhaps it would be better to classify this as basic stretching. (And it does go beyond the sit and be fit!)』
(Is this yoga?) 『I've taken different styles of yoga classes and I've not seen much of the movements on this tape. It's beyond gentle. It's one step away from"Sit and Be Fit". I am 100lbs. overweight, able to walk 5 miles,strong&/or flexible in some muscle groups, tight&/or weak in others. This tape was way, way too easy for me. I wish had not wasted the money."Yoga for Weight Loss"with its 3 levels of proficiency demonstrated, is a better beginning level YOGA video, although there's nothing weight loss specific about it, just basic Iyengar style yoga. I gave this 2 stars because there may be someone out there for whom this is just right, someone more out of shape, inactive, or infirm than me.』
IPhone 3G used's review (Yoga - old view; new view) 『There are now two schools of thought re: "doing" yoga. There is the tried and true historical version(s) and the "let's re-write history version of exercise for the 21st century - go for the burn." I started doing yoga in the 70's with Lilias on PBS. Took many yoga classes from some excellent instructors and still have a very thin volume (book) of Lilias' by which I taught myself many of the yoga poses. Believe it or not, yoga does not start with Downward Facing Dog which is the catch pose of the 20-to-30-something person. Last winter I started taking Yoga through a Fitness Center and when we were done, I walked up to the instructor and told her that I didn't remember yoga being so "fast". She told me that yoga should bring up your heart rate. Maybe, but yoga is not a cardio-vascular "exercise" like aerobic walking, boot camp, or spinning, etc. The movements are meant to be slow for a reason. Yoga is a process of patience, not an immediate NOW gratification.
Lilias may be slow, but yoga is a combination of mind and body, not let's get that heart pumping as a measure of accomplishing the poses. I would strongly recommend her tapes and dvds for beginners, so YOU DON'T HURT YOURSELF. YOGA is not meant to "hurt" or "burn", ever. A good foundation creates the concentration, strength and stamina to turn your body into a pretzel and to BREATHE correctly. With a little perserverance at any age, the rewards are remarkable. And, if you progress quickly to the next tapes/dvds - great, Lilias has done her job, and she knows it. If you want the "burn" and pretty immediate results do Pilates. Yoga is a lifetime achievement. 』
(lilias yoga workout series) 『My Lilias Folan tapes: Daily Routine for Beginners are simply superb! Why? Because after performing the gentle yoga routines I feel such a sense of peace, well being and energy! Lilias is a natural teacher and her yoga tapes are excellent for mature people and beginners. I have had these tapes for years and highly recommend them. I also do not become bored while doing the exercises, because each time they are performed I can feel myself becoming more flexible! Lilias leads you gently through each movement. The 20 minute routine is perfect for my schedule. Lilias' voice and pace is perfect and soothing.I am purchasing the set for a younger sister who deals with chronic pain.』
(A GREAT SET FOR BEGINNERS! NOT EXPERTS!) 『I TOTALLY DISAGREE with the last person who rated this 2 VHS set! IT IS MADE for beginners who need a bit more time NOT ONLY learning to stretch properly...but to also to learn the YOGA postions PROPERLY as to NOT hurt themselves!....and the REPETITION is the BEST THING about this entire collection! As many scientists and TEACHERS have proven, it takes REPETITION to arrive at a new way of doing things to perfectly and eventually without thought! THAT IS WHAT YOGA IS ALL ABOUT! RELAXATION!!!!!!!!!!! I DEFINATLY&HIGHLY recommend this set IF you are serious about the MANY benefits of YOGA!~Spiritual, physical and emotional! WHAT COULD BE BETTER?!?!?!?!?!』
(Use for stretching) 『These tapes are for stretching and lengthing. They are not full routines but to learn modified postions and perhaps little things to do in the day.. for example shaking the kinks out of the arm...I use to watch Lilas on PBS... when she had her long braid her voice is gentle and she talks right through. For some this may be annoying but the upside of this would be that it allows for direction... meaning you will know how your body is suppose to feel. I am researching her other vidoes. I am looking for a complete class with several positions performed several times』
(Boring Yoga) 『I agree with the first reviewer - this video gets quite old, and too slow to hold the viewer's concentration. I feel I quickly outgrew Lilias's definition of Beginner.』

Usually ships in 24 hours IPhone 3G used's review (Great yoga class for *intermediate* yoga families) 『This 40 minute DVD yoga class is a blast to play along to, whether you are with your family members or not. The energy is playful, fun and infectious.
The DVD takes place on a sunny rectangular stage right in front of the crashing waves of Maui. The stage has enough room for their five yoga mats and is surrounded with lush tropical foliage. There is soft new age music and you can hear the sounds of the waves and birds during the presentation.
This practice starts with sun salutes, moves into standing poses, handstands, backbends, crow/crane and a variety of sitting stretches using straps. A savasana and sitting meditation complete the routine.
Rodney Yee, with his wife and three children, take turns demonstrating poses and leading sun salute sequences. They are a very cute family and giggle together a lot.
I can see where children from young ages to preteens can associate themselves with the kids on-screen as "yoga teachers." Kids at home would probably enjoy leading their own families in sequences - what a great confidence builder! Altogether, doing yoga as a family in this way should create fantastic bonding time as well as promoting strength and flexibility from a young age.
Couples without children can also enjoy this DVD. Lots of poses are shown using a partner to assist into arm balances, backbends and inversions. I showed the handstand section to my husband to help him get a feel for how to help me, and we did the relaxing coupled backbend together as well.
My main caveat is a big one - this is no DVD for beginners. Novices will be hopelessly lost during the fast-moving sun salutations. There is no instruction on basics like downward dog, upward dog and side plank pose. The sun salutes include a lot of jump backs and tougher transitions that Rodney and his flexible family take for granted.
Advanced beginners will be caught short by the inclusion of intermediate poses like handstand, upward bow and crow/crane.
Nowhere on the DVD package does it mention that this might not be appropriate for beginners. This oversight might get some people hurt!
For beginners who buy this program I recommend they go right to the standing poses, which have actual pose instruction and take things slowly. Skip the fast-moving sun salutes sequence. Try not to worry about getting up into handstand unless your kids are already athletic.
As the DVD does not have a section menu (just hit PLAY and off it goes), you'd have to manually fast-forward to the parts you want to use.
I wouldn't blame Rodney for the inappropriate marketing - this is a delightful practice and I appreciate that there's a family routine out there that isn't all just easy beginner's work. So there is certainly room in the market for a disc like this - for families already familiar with yoga, who want to get in some playful family time and help each other with challenging poses.
Ultimately, I found this DVD really quite enjoyable and will be adding it to my rotation as a short, "fun" choice.』
(A Little Uninspiring) 『I was hoping for something a little more creative, maybe playful, more FUN, more partner postures for more connection??? It was interesting to observe the family dynamics. Beautiful backround but, overall, a little uninspiring.』
(okay produt) 『Although this product was good for a basic yoga workout it is not as child friendly as I thought it would be. I did enjoy that the family took time to turns instructing.』
(Rodney Yee: Yoga Journal's Family Yoga) 『Although this video offers more fundamental Yoga instruction with respect to the Yoga Kids, Vol. 1-3 series, it lacks teaching many important basics to the adult beginner and has an odd selection of poses for the novice Yogi』
(A great way to spend some quality time with the family) 『I'm a die-hard fan of Rodney Yee. This DVD although very different from his regular routines is absolutely fantastic because one get's to see another side of him which is truly endearing: him as a DAD. I practice yoga everyday and my kids have always wanted to participate. The other routines I have on DVD are too difficult for them. This one allows children to be introduced to the basic poses in a fun and easy way. It's a great way to spend some quality time with the family』 『Acclaimed yoga instructor Rodney Yee and his wife Donna Fone share their family yoga practice in a genuine yet playful manner from which all ages may benefit. Family Yoga provides parents with a meaningful way to integrate their own yoga practice with precious family time. A great family program for parents seeking connection and balance for their children in a busy world. With Rodney Yee. Usually ships in 24 hours IPhone 3G used's review (This wonderful DVD is only the beginning...) 『Since I bought and took Steve's entire course, my review for the Master DVD will read close to my review for Vol. 1 and 2 - due to having the same great experience with ALL his books and DVD's. I have studied Reiki with teachers in person and online for over 10 years, having been "Mastered" first in 2004. THIS DVD, as the first and second also did, were some of the first times I found myself trusting in the process of energy passing from one moment to another for the sake of "attunement" or the like. There was something magickal about the idea that I had to trust in this process due to it being a DVD and not a human standing right next to me. It made me go deeper into the "attunement" process. Most humans charge an arm and a leg simply to stand there anyway - and that doesn't "make" for a 'perfect' attuenment. I found no difference in learning the Master set of symbols from a DVD and Book Course, than I did from a person in the same room as me. EXCEPT that with Steve's course - I felt more connected to this learning. I had to bring more of myself to the table and trust myself to do the learning. IS that his personal energy attached to his course, I don't know? I would think so, he is open, honest and straight forward to teaching the wonders of Reiki. Greatly empowering YOU to be the best YOU can be within this wonderful healing art. You are not alone, you can email him questions and he will respond. It's true, not all people are going to have the same wonderful experience that I [and others] did. This is simply what Reiki is all about, each of us having a togetherness connection to the Reiki Energy source itself, while ALSO having our own experiences learning about how to harness and use it. This is what I've learned most from Steve; his books and DVD's have opened my heart and mind like no other Reiki teacher I've worked with. I'm very happy I bought and took his courses.』
(Empowering!) 『Empowering!! I am by nature open minded but cautious. I read Steve's website top to bottom and was inspired by the truth as I read it. It resonated with something deep inside me. I was very drawn to his openness and perspectives on Reiki and decided that this was the right path to follow. I have not been disappointed at all!! Very congruent in all his writing and his mission statement. His DVD's and books empower you on whatever level you are interested in learning. He is a true teacher. You can read it, see it and feel the energy. Thank you so much Steve for all your insightful information and for sharing all your knowledge with everyone in an affordable way. This was a smart investment for me. I am truly grateful and much more knowledgeable.
』
(Highly Recommended!) 『I was already a Reiki Master, and purchased Steve Murray's, Reiki Ultimate Guide, Ultimate Guide Vol. 2, Vol. 3, and Vol. 4, along with the DVD attunements for each. The attunements were very powerful, and the energy flow is no doubt stronger. This program has to be the most convent, and realistic way to get started in the Reiki healing practice. I have tried several other Reiki programs in the past, and Steve Murrays Reiki Ultimate Guides, are the very best I have found yet. You will not be disappointed. D. White 』
(One Piece of a Wonderful Usui Reiki System) 『I would love to detail all of the specifics of what I found interesting and helpful from the books and DVDs in this system, but that would surely take up more time and room than this space allows, lol. Suffice it to say that those Reiki recipients whom I have been working with for some time have commented that they notice an increase in Reiki power -- and they didn't know that I had been doing further study with Steve Murray's Usui Reiki system products; they simply knew something was different. As a newly-signed author myself, I love his writing style; Steve is straight to the point without unnecessary wording --- I like and appreciate that. Steve Murray's books and DVDs are absolutely priceless and will remain in my personal library as invaluable reference materials in the years to come. I do and will recommend them to anyone that I believe would be interested. I also see that his new book and DVD will be released soon. I plan to purchase and study those also ;) Namaste, Raine』
(Receive a Master Level Attunement) 『First of all, if you haven't read his book series "The Ultimate Guide to Reiki" you should get them immediately as they belong in any serious Reiki Healer's library. But the DVDs add another dimension as they SHOW you the various techniques, symbols, etc. In addition, there are very excellent attunements given which you can enjoy again and again over time. I heartily recommend anything by Steve Murray.』 『Thousands of people throughout the world have successfully received Reiki Attunements from Steve Murray's Videos and DVDS and are now Healers.
His new book "Reiki the Ultimate Guide Learn Sacred Symbols&Attunements plus Reiki Secrets You Should Know," is now on Amazon and can be used with his DVD and Video programs for additional information and guidance with Reiki.

She goes through several easy, yet intense stretches, using a strap to help pull the leg closer for a deeper stretch. The workout comes in about 30 minutes, but there is a point in the workout (after about 17 minutes) where she has just finished some standing stretches, then pauses and says "nama stay" -- then moves on to floor stretches. This is an excellent stopping point for a shorter stretch ... or you can continue to the floor for even deeper back and leg stretches. Between the gentle ocean waves in the background, the quiet piano music, and Suzanne's soothing voice, this is a very relaxing yoga stretch.』
(Perfect Way to fit Yoga into your Day; Great for Beginners Too!) 『This DVD is the exact same as "GENLTLE YOGA" by Suzanne Deason that I looked for. It is short enough (less than 30 min) that I can fit it into most any day. It is great for stretching the whole body. If you are new to yoga, I would definitely recommend this to you. It is done in a very relaxed manner in a beautiful setting with calming background music. A yoga strap and brick definitely come in handy. To see how more difficult yoga poses and stretches can be modified for the beginner, get "Yoga for Weight Loss" also by Suzanne Deason. The title is a little off-putting but the DVD is great for conditioning for any level because in that DVD she has two other people with REAL women's bodies, helping to show various modifications of the more difficult poses.』
(My Old Favorite on DVD) 『I had this program on VHS and looked for it in vain on DVD for quite a while. They changed the title (it was called "Gentle Yoga for Beginners") but it's basically the same program. I have another longer Yoga DVD but when I only have a half an hour this one is perfect.』

IPhone 3G used's review (What I always wanted in a yoga mat.) 『I'm in my early sixty's and have been doing yoga for most of my adult life. Teaching bring a lot of students with a wide variety of yoga mats. Over the years I've tried them all. I haven't bought myself a new mat in years because there was nothing out there that was anything special. I read a couple of very good reviews about the Jade mat. I went on line to find out more. I saw the price. I had to talk myself into buying the mat by saying that this is an investment in my passion. I had to let it air out for a couple of days to get rid of the rubber odor. I took it to class. The mat was great. I felt very secure and sure footed. I put my other mats away. I went to an all day Iyengar workshop. Everyone wanted to work with me on my mat or use it when I wasn't using it. Great mat. Well worth the extra cost. I hope I feel the same way after a year or two?』
(It stinks, literally and functionally) 『When you first get this mat, the eau de rubber is overpowering. Eventually, it does subside, but for me it never went away. Perhaps because the mat itself only lasted about three months. Indeed it was quite sticky, for a few practices. After about a month, the traction tapered off and it started to pill and crumble. A few months later, it was at the curb, er, I mean, recycling plant. Go with the Manduka. It's not great either, but WAY better than this.』
(Best yoga mat ever) 『Excellent ... just what I was hoping for. I already had one of these for myself that I purchased at my yoga studio about a year ago. I wanted to get the same one for my husband, and this is it. This mat does NOT slip no matter how long you use it, even when sweating profusely, and no matter how many times you wash it! LOVE IT!!! 』
(Best Mat I have tried so far.) 『This mat beats other yoga mats by far. I practice Yoga 3 times a week and I do sweat a lot. This mat gives you a firm foundation and although it is only 3/16 it has enough cushion for sore knees. I can say I do not slide at all on this mat. I have purchased cheap mats it the past and this is well worth the money. Also a bonus Jade Harmony plants a tree for each mat that is sold.』
(I love it) 『Although it is taking some time for the rubber smell to wear off--I love this yoga mat and would recommend it to anyone looking to replace their mat with an organic product.』 『The Harmony Natural Rubber Yoga Mat is made of is made of open cell, natural dry rubber sustain-ably harvested from well cared for rubber trees and does not include the latex component from the tree (minor amounts of latex can find its way into the rubber but usually is not enough to cause latex sensitivity reaction to those allergic.) The Harmony mat is very durable and has incredible traction, even when wet from perspiration traction is excellent offering unequaled non-slip performance. The mat has sturdy mesh in its interior which provides stability and tear resistance. Made in the USA, the Harmony natural rubber yoga mat will last longer than most mats while allowing you to perform your poses comfortably and better.
Natural rubber is a renewable resource tapped from rubber trees and contains no ozone depleting substances perfect for yoga practitioners concerned about the environment. The 3/16" thick Harmony rubber mat has as much cushion as a 1/4" PVC mat』

Usually ships in 24 hours IPhone 3G used's review (Great cushioning, but not quite sticky enough) 『I bought this mat for ashtanga yoga. It's very well made, and a good mat for that type of yoga, with one exception. The ridges on the top of the mat that aid in traction run the length of the mat. There's no criss-cross pattern that might help with traction. Once my hands or feet get sweaty, they start slipping and I have to add a towel. I've used this mat forabout a year, and thought maybe that's just how it was going to be. I recently bought a Manduka 85-Inch Yoga Mat (Black), and it doesn't have this problem. In my opinion, the manduka is definitely worth the extra $20.』 『
