(Excelent for every moment)
『Satori is a magical music from the spirit. Every one can listen it again and again and again.』

(Absolutely beautiful)
『Fantastic CD for meditation. The music is simply beautiful, and it also helps me concentrate better when I am working.』

(Good for background)
『If you aren't a teacher who is a good "yoga DJ", this is good background music for class.』

(Satori-Music for Yoga and Meditation)
『The sound is open and spacious, highly evocative and emotionally complex.
If what you'll looking for is a delicate sensitivity, the warmth of wood, without
western music structure or pulse, you'll enjoy this cd.』

(Perfection)
『This is one of the deepest, most spiritual pieces of music you may ever hear. The title track, Satori, is beyond words.
True Zen. It is about nothing and about everything. There is the repeated, plaintive cry of a mist-shourded horn and a deep sense of melancholic loss. The stillness resonates and builds to a feeling of resolution, light, color and the after-life.
Guaranteed to transport the mind.
One can only hope such a place truly exists.』

『The CD's liner notes definesatorias "the indescribable experience of sudden, intuitive spiritual realization." That may be, yet unless you are a serious student of yoga or a fan of its ancient musical traditions, you may struggle to reach such a state while listening to these improvisations for shakuhachi flute (Riley Lee) and koto (Gabriel Lee, no relation). The recording's mood is almost somber and contrasts noticeably withOriental SunriseandSanctuary, two splendid Riley Lee discs that offer a broader, more expressive tonal range. Here a stronger Oriental mood is conveyed, and the notion of stillness is pursued with such earnestness that the final result (to Occidental ears) is ultimately a state of inertia. While composers sometimes refer to the use of silence as an overt creative element in their works,Satorirelies so heavily on the approach that it seems as though Lee's flute is being filtered through a dense fog, and from a substantial distance.Satori, originally recorded in 1983, seems best suited to serious-minded yoga practitioners and those who prefer to adorn their meditative states with only the most minimal of audio embellishments. For such people, this disc could be the answer to prayers. For others interested in shakuhachi music, the two aforementioned discs are likely to be more satisfying choices.--Terry Wood

(Amazing)
『This is an amazing sound track for meditation. I can't fall asleep without it now.』

(Gift for an Irishman)
『I can tell you that my friend very much enjoyed the music on this CD. My friend called me and raved over this CD.』

(less than expected)
『I've expected more from the disc. The melodies remind one another, the performance also could be better.』

(Great music to de-stress)
『My husband and I listen to this cd almost every night before going to sleep. The music is calming and reverent. Great way to end a busy day.』

(Transportive and restorative)
『This is one of the most beautiful, restorative collections of Celtic music I have ever heard. Haunting, sublime harp, cello, guitar, flute, and soundscapes create an atomosphere of serenity for meditation, prayer, or simply unwinding the mind and emotions. The poetry which originated each selection is included and provides a meditation in itself. Highly recommended.』
『From an ancient source, prayerful songs for modern-day relaxation Celtic Meditation Music.

"The Irish harp has always been associated with spirituality," says Minogue, and this is especially evident on her newest album. Using traditional poetry as divine inspiration, she crafts a set of instrumental "slow airs" feminine, expressive, and dynamic songs that transpose the silent spaces between the lines of Celtic prayer into melody.

Minogue's numerous albums, including the acclaimed Between the Worlds, cross genres and appeal to Celtic, World, Folk, and New Age music enthusiasts alike. Her introspective style is at once deeply rooted in the ancient form and imbued with a creativity all her own, making her a regular favorite with Billboard Magazine and Boston Globe reviewers and National Public Radio. Now, with Celtic Meditation Music, fans both new and old are immersed in the haunting, modal tones of the harp, turning the act of listening into an invitation to an ancient sacred space an invitation that lasts long after the final vibration of the strings.

Irish harp accompanied by clarinet, cello, violin, and percussion.

(Beautiful Harmony!!!)
『There is harmony, peace and bliss in this simple but deeply sound!!Really resonates throughout my body,I find this cd very beautiful,Im so happy I have it!.Im giving this cd as a gift to people I love! Thanks!』

(There's No Place Like OM)
『I've noticed that there are a few people who frequent amazon and they appear a little uptight. For the most part, I have received some really beautiful and wonderful comments on my 300+ reviews, but ocasionally I'll get someone who is either just a very agitated individual or has their underwear on backwards and they'll just rip into me. It's a good thing that I'm such a highly evolved spiritual master and have transcended such childish nonsense.

You know I'm saying this with tounge firmly in cheek, don't you?

Because even though I've been studying, practicing, and teaching various spiritual techniques for years, there are times where I am so with the world and the slightest little comment - even if it wasn't mean to be malicious - can send me into a funk.

(Won't you take me to funky town?)

Luckily, I do practice meditation and prayer on a daily basis and I am gradually learning how to extend the feelings that I receive in those daily practices into those activities that may appear as mundane and trivial but are still part of the spiritual journey and this CD has really helped to make a huge shift in my life and as we know all too well on this spiritual journey, shift definitely happens.

I've been listening to this CD for well over eight months now and sometimes I chant along with it but for the most part I just listen and when I listen to it the first thing in the morning my day seems to flow more. I mean, Life is always in a "flow state" but there are times...many times...where we are just in that space of resistance and we block our good.

I sometimes laugh when I hear people say, "God always is saying 'no' to me..." I wonder how many times we are saing "no" to God because God is always presenting Itself fully and completely in each and every moment but it's our limited perspective on things that block the good that we desire to experience.

Fortunately, however, just chanting with this CD or even listening to this CD a few minutes a day helps "lift" the veil that seems to between the seen and the unseen. It just gets you in that space/that place of awareness where you begin to vibrate a deep inner knowing that everything is just as it needs to be - even those people with the tight Fruit-of-the Looms are just who they need to be.

Ghandi once said, "Be the change you want to see in the world..." This beautiful and powerful CD can help you do just that.

Peace&Blessings, children of Light...
john, 'the Light Coach'

(AMAZING)

This CD really works to create deep relaxation. I use in my yoga classes and my students love it!』

(Made me Crazy)
『This CD is nothing but annoying. For meditation purposes, I expected a soft, sublte chanting. Instead, the voices overlap and it's a constant, shrill sound. Awful.』

(I like it. I wish it ran for 1 1/2 hrs.)
『I like the harmonized half more than the unharmonized human voices, but it is a nice product. I cna't compare it to others.』
『Awe inspiring group chant of the sacred syllable OM.

The perfect recording for your yoga, healing or meditation practice; or you can use it to simply uplift and bless any environment.

This powerful and melodious recording features an ensemble of meditation and yoga practitioners singing the sacred syllable together. This is a very special recording. In track one, the syllable is chanted in a continuous unbroken stream of sound. In track two, gifted singers in the ensemble improvise adding angelic harmonies and other musical dynamics.』

(Great Beginner Yoga Video)
『A great yoga video for beginners although the edition that I received has an extra 10 minutes of breathing exercises added to the beginning that the original version did not have. The original got right into the physical workout after about three minutes of breathing and centering. Some beginners may find the longer period of breathing a bit tedious and want to skip over some of it.』

(Good workout in my opinion)
『I like the Rodney Yee workout tapes. This one focuses on the abdominals. I find that the hardest part for me is laying down while lowering and raising straight legs. This is done several times during this video. I find his tapes flow well and very user friendly. This is designed for beginners.』

(Funny yet good)
『Ok so we did this workout video in PE one day, and I thought it was SUPER strange. First of all the guy is half naked in the middle of the desert, and then you got these wierd movements that he does, and then this wierd sounding narrator that says 'exhale' like he's retarded.

But here's how the video goes:
In the VERY beginning of the video you just kinda lay there watching 500 precautions go across the screen. Then after listening to people say all these wierd yoga words for 10 minutes, the workout begins.
In the beginning you just kinda sit there and the half-naked yoga guy says all this wierd stuff that relaxes you.
Then you move onto the actual workout portion, which isnt long, like 10-15 minutes. The workout part was actually pretty good for toning my abs.
After that you lay on the ground for 3 minutes positioned as if you fell off a building.

Overall I would suggest buying this video, because its short, and perfect for a busy schedule.

(Good AB Workout)
『When I first did this video I thought this isn't doing anything. I don't feel like I'm working out at all...then the next day my ABs were sore (in a good way)! I was surprised such a low impact workout could work so well.』

(Excellent ab routine)
『Excellent workout but too hard for many beginners.

When I fist started yoga I found some of the poses too taxing for my back (so I skipped or modified them). Now that I have gotten stronger I really like this workout. It starts easy and gets more difficult. If you do what you can you will make progress and be able to do more.

Definitely heed the warnings of other reviewers: if you have lower back problems be very careful and modify some of the poses.

If you are a beginner and have not done other ab exercises before you might find this video very challenging. If you have some ab strength already this will take it to the next level.』
『Rodney Yee leadsAbs Yoga for Beginnersfrom the serene Death Valley. The gentle sands of the desert lend to the calming mood of Yee's supple movements, which are designed to firm and strengthen your abs while providing a soothing respite from your hectic lifestyle. Beginning with 4 minutes of conscious breathing, moving into 13 minutes of abs yoga workout, and ending with 3 minutes of deep relaxation, the tape is an introduction to yoga for those who would like the added benefit of targeting their abdominal regions. The poses are, for the most part, simple to follow, although the beginner may need to ease into some of the positions; lowering straight legs to the ground is challenging, but of course, as in all of Living Arts yoga tapes, you are encouraged to move at your own speed. A blanket to sit on is required.--Jenny Brown

(Great DVD)
『We liked the DVD and we really liked that it only took a few days to get to us. Great seller.Great price and this seller is recommended.』

(Don't understand the popularity)
『I brought this DVD based on the MANY recommendations and was very disappointed. It is slow, boring and unchallenging. The instructor is sooooo annoying and talks in an over-the-top soft "earth mother" voice.

Instead try the Sarah Hollidays prenatal series, Perfect Pregnancy Workout Vol 2. Yoga or Christine Andersons prenatal yoga DVD.

(Not the best...)
『I had high hopes when I bought this DVD, but it is lacking one essential thing -- time! I feel like I am being rushed through each exercise, which to me is not the purpose of yoga. I guess I am supposed to memorize each move and then go back and do them on my own??? Still looking for the perfect prenatal DVD!』

(Not too annoying)
『I really liked this lady, and felt like I would like her in person too. She was very kind and didn't seem unrealistically perfect, or act annoyingly spiritual or mystical about everything. The outfits were not very flattering, but overall this was a good yoga workout. I'm not a super big fan of yoga, but this was way better than the other yoga DVD I tried (yoga for your pregnany with kristen eykel). Still Denise Austin's fit and firm pregnancy is my all around favorite.』

(Great for all skill levels)
『I love this prenatal yoga dvd. As someone who has practiced yoga for 6 years I was looking for a dvd that would be challenging in terms of the poses but not a major "vinyasa" cardio workout. I use this dvd in the morning before I go to work to stretch, relax and get rid of my morning sickness. This dvd has 3 sections which make it easy to break up if you don't have the full 50 minutes. It had some new poses I wasn't familiar with that made it fun and exciting. It also focuses on many poses that can help you through labor and delivery. You need a chair, strap, blanket and block (especially when you get into the 2nd and 3rd trimesters) but if you don't have these items you probably have something laying around the house that would work just as well. This video is good for beginners, intermediate or advanced but don't order if you're looking for a faced-paced cardio workout.』
『The best thing about this prenatal yoga program is that there is a model for each trimester. Instructor Shiva Rea demonstrates each of the stretches and exercises for the first trimester, and two pregnant women show modifications for the second and third trimesters (they're even dressed in different colors for easy reference). This removes the self-doubt home-exercisers often have about the safety of certain moves--especially in that cumbersome final stage of pregnancy. Using gentle voice-over instruction, Rea and her assistants take viewers through a half hour of meditational stretches using blocks and chairs for support. She follows that up with 16 minutes of floor work: lunge pose, bridge pose, child's pose, plank pose--all with the necessary adjustments. She winds things up with a four-minute guided relaxation on her back--the traditional position--with the second-trimester woman on her side and the third on her side with one leg up on a chair. By including the different adaptations, Rea has made a program with the flexibility to carry an expectant mom through her entire pregnancy--and beyond, if she wishes.--Kimberly Heinrichs

(Very Helpful)
『This DVD was what I needed to learn yoga. I am not what could be called limber by any stretch of the imagination and yoga always seemed intimidating.

Judi was able to get me past that with her good instruction and gentlew voice. She explains the poses in detail at a pace that I was able to follow and the DVD seemed designed for me in how she made each pose accessible with many recommendations and suggestions throughout.

Good selection of routines depending on what you would like to work on and also some general routines too. Very good.』

(True to the title!)
『I've had issues with flexibility since childhood, and I've always been intimidated by yoga for this reason. The title of this DVD appealed, and I had to try it. The Iyengar yoga techniques, which focus on alignment and precision, include modifications for beginner students using props like belts, blocks, and blankets. The instruction can seem repetitious, but since the teacher isn't really there to correct errors, this ends up being helpful in understanding the poses. Even if you end up switching to a different technique later, this provides a good background in the poses. My review would be five stars, but the instruction on breathing wasn't always clear, and there were some errors in the recording. However, there's an impressive variety of workouts from beginner to moving towards more advanced work, and true to the spirit of Iyengar yoga, I've found these techniques to really help in promoting a clearer, less stressed mind.』

(JUST WHAT WAS NEEDED!)
『I had gone to a chiropractor for neck and back problems, and had a bit of deep tissue massage done. I kept getting the feedback, "you're so tight here." I tried a yoga class, but found doing a one hour class to begin with was too much. Then I bought this DVD. This is great.
I especially like the fact that one DVD has 35 separate routines on it, varying in length from 15 minutes to an hour, and concentrating on specific areas. So if you only have 15 minutes and are having neck problems, there is a routine you can do. And they do help! I now try to do yoga with this video everyday. Even 20 minutes a day has made a prfoound difference, and best of all -- the aches and pains are gone, and I have more stamina! I highly recommend this DVD!』

(Great beginner DVD)
『I purchased this DVD because I am interested in learning yoga for flexibility and strength, but I am very unflexible. The DVD is a great way to start yoga, increasing the exercises as your flexibility improves.』

(What I was Looking For)
『I had a terrible accident almost 11 years ago, and after that everything hurt, so I stopped doing the things that hurt, and I became my body's worst enemy, all my muscles got tight and uncomfortable, and a few times a year my back would go out and that seemed, while terrible, normal. I got down on the fit path, and I do a very good workout routine now, but I still hated stretching because I was so inflexible, and the back still went out.

I moved from stretching into this yoga video. It might not be like a complete smooth routine, but you can plan your own routine from the dvd menu screen. And you are slowly learning to move your body into a more flexible structure. I suppose the philosophy of yoga is not explained very well if at all, however, right now my concern is to get my body back to mostly limber. Once I feel that these positions have helped me do that I will hopefully move on to full routines.

If you have wanted to try yoga but are either overweight or inflexible, this program is a very gentle, sensible introduction to allow you to try and not feel foolish.

This program can be tailored to fit your needs every day, you can choose a strength program, a flexibility program or relaxation or energizing. You can also move between the body parts you would like to exercise, your back, your hips, your arms, your legs, you get the picture. That is how you can build up to 35 different programs.

This was really what I was looking for. This is for the beginner, who has been intimidated by yoga in the past.』

『Studio: Uni Dist Corp (music) Release Date: 08/23/2005』
『Yoga isn't just for people who are already supple--it's a way to become more flexible.Yoga for Inflexible Peoplepresents modifications and props to make traditional poses accessible to people who could not otherwise perform them comfortably or correctly. You get more than 35 workouts and about four hours of instruction and practice in all. Choose a general workout, focus on an area of the body (shoulders, legs, hips, and back), or select a peaceful or energizing workout. Within each category, you have a choice of several different 15- to 75-minute series (some seated), much more variety than most videos offer. Some of the poses are beginning level; others are not. Leader Judi Rice demonstrates well, instructing by voice-over, though her expressionless face lacks warmth and personality. You'll need a yoga mat, blocks (or large books), a long strap or belt, a chair, and blankets.--Joan Price

(Yoga For A Reason)
『I like yoga DVDs that are focused on specific things. I have lots of them. This one is specifically for AM and PM yoga. The morning sessions are not more then 35 minutes long and a nice way to start the day. They get your energy flowing and your body moving. The evening sessions are a little longer and are nice for relaxing, getting rid of some tension and just unwinding. There's one for getting back some energy which is great for those days when you get home and need a kick-start to get through a full evening agenda.』

(Very good DVD for beginners)
『Pro:
- cheap way to try yoga (much cheaper that classes). You just need the DVD, a mat (I bought it at a sport store for 25$), 2-3 pillows or blanckets.
- 10 routines; 15 minutes the shortests, 45 minutes the longest, you don't need to spent 2 hours as you have to when you take a class outside.
- No pre-scheduled classes. You can do it any time of the day. At your own pace (I do it when I wake up in the morning)

- Benefits:
If you do it after you wake up in the morning, you just start the day in a more "positive" state of mind.
You can feel your back posture improves. You will naturally put more attention on your posture day time.
You feel a more flexible body, less sense of "heavy legs" or "thight muscles" or similar.
My lower back pain I had before starting yoga, is gone. (I work in front of a computer 8 hours or more a day...)

Cons:
- yeah, sometimes the "voice" talks too much but... remember, is a beginner DVD: better too many words (explaining what you are doing, how to do it, words of caution...) then too few words
- A real good teacher corrects your mistakes better during the exercises

How I use it:
In the morning I run the "wake up the spine" routine (35 mins) or "get up and go" (15 minutes), depending how much time I have. Almost every day.
In the evening:
Mainly the "Good night sleep", rarely the "unwind muscles tension". (both around 20 mins). Every other evening(more or less).

Yes, it will be the first thing I'll suggest to someone that tells me... "I have some back pain bothering me"』

(Excellent yoga routine)
『This is an excellent yoga DVD. The teacher demonstrates the poses well and is thorough with her instructions. I like the format of the DVD - it has many different routines with varying lengths and difficulty. This is definitely a great DVD for beginners. Also, each pose has its own track so if there's one you want to skip, it's easy to do so. Overall, I highly recommend this DVD!』

(Calming way to get into Yoga)
『It is an amazing and calming way to start and finish my day. The section with the Dalai Lama is wonderful!!!!』

(Yoga for the Sign of the Times!)
『I would actualy recommend this dvd for the person on the go... the professional that travels, the stay home mom, the college student... why? Because there are plenty of short segments to choose from AND it's not just a work out it can be spiritualy moving as well. This dvd is a quick inspiration that releases your body and opens your heart and mind. TAMARA'S YOGA FUSION』
