Usually ships in 24 hours IPhone 3G used's review (Good stuff, but very basic.) 『I have watched this a few times now. I like it for the most part, I think it has some good ideas of ways to interact with your baby, but a lot of it you may find you already do without the intention of "doing" baby yoga. The routines are very short (like 5 minutes)... just a lot of folding arms in and out, bending knees in and out of "chair pose", laying them on their backs and talking/singing to them. Sweet, but basic stuff. I was hoping this would have some moves for mom too, but there are none. My daughter is almost 9 months, and I think I should have just invested in the book she wrote for toddlers since this stuff really is for very young babies. Over all I like it and would recommend, but I am more likely to loan it out than buy it as a gift since I don't think it offers a lot for the price.』
(not so good as I expected) 『I bought this DVD to help creating some nice play with the baby, exercise and relax for me. However, when I put on the DVD, he is rather watching the Video than engaging the exercise with me. I can't really remember the poster myself, and keep watch the video as well.
I tried a few times and decide to just play with him is much easier.』
(Helen's at it AGAIN!) 『I first bought "Play n' Flourish" and was impressed! I like "Sleep n' Grow" too but I noticed sometimes there was too much repitition in a given section. For example, in Divine Digestion of the three segments she shows for babies, two are exactly the same only under different names! I can't notice any signifcant differences in the movements, only in the title! But over all this dvd is a good work. Along with any other dvds, I seriously recommending reading her book. Her book offers jewels of information that are not in the dvd. It's almost like her book is the Bible on the valuable subject. Well, I'm looking forward to her new book "Itsy Bitsy Yoga for Toddlers and Preschoolers" March 2008. She definitely is a pioneer in the subject.』
(Breakthrough in getting your little one to sleep through the night!) 『I absolutely love, love, love the Sleep n' Grow Itsy Bitsy Yoga DVD. It has really helped my 10 week old baby girl. She was having trouble sleeping through the night due to gas, but a few days after we started doing the routines on a regular basis, she started sleeping all the way through the night!!!! She sleeps anywhere from 8 to 10 hours!!! Can you believe that???? She loves all of the routines but her favorite pose is "Superbaby". She smiles and laughs every time we do it. Thank you so much for making such a great DVD that helps us new moms get some extra bonding in with our wonderful babies! I recommend your DVD to anyone with kids. I look forward to getting your other DVDs very soon.』
(A Must Have for New Moms!) 『I truly value how Itsy Bitsy Yoga empowered me as a former NICU mom, to offer something meaningful and life-impacting to our baby! Both Helen's book and DVDs are phenomenal, easy to use, well done and pure joy to share with your baby. I highly recommend this for all new moms. As an Itsy Bitsy Yoga Facilitator who teaches classes, I also recommend this as an excellent tool for moms and dads to practice at home, between weekly classes. (Chant to Travel) 『I first heard this CD when my friend Wendy brought it during a visit to Oregon. We chanted the whole way to the Bonneville Spa and Hotsprings. I liked it so much I borrowed it for a week and finally got my own. Ragani has the most lovely voice and the instrumentals are fulland luscious. Thank you Ragani!』
(Best of Both Worlds truly is a fine blend of traditional Indian chants and modern recording) 『What immediately strikes me about this recording is Ragani's sincere devotion to her guru and to the divine. This is evidenced in the opening mantra, the Akhanda Prayer, a beautiful prayer to the Guru. All of these chants are infused with Ragani's sincerity as a bhakta and I feel as though I am hearing a seasoned yogini when I listen to this fine collection of chants. Especially appealing to me is the shift from a slow repetition of the Name to an accelerated and ecstatic repetition. The gradual acceleration has the effect of locking my mind's attention onto the mantra so that by the time the chant ends, my mind is subdued and I experience the peace brought about by the chant. My particular favorites are Sita Ram and Shiva Hara. Whereas Sita Ram is intense, by contrast Shiva Hara is light and uplifting. In addition, the chants on this CD are all in call in response style which makes participation in the chants very easy.』
(Amazingly beautiful. Nice change of pace from other kirtan) 『I thought no other kirtan style music could even compare to Krishna Das (whom I love dearly), but Ragani's voice is so beautiful. This CD is enchanting so much so that I cannot seem to tire of listening.』
(GREAT CD!!!) 『Great CD!!! I play it everyday commute to work. Would highly recommend it to anyone looking for Kirtan music.』 『A classic kirtan (yoga chant) music CD, featuring world instruments in rhythm and sound and a large chorus from Milwaukee's ongoing Kirtan with Ragani event. Usually ships in 24 hours IPhone 3G used's review (Not Something I Will Be Able to Use!) 『I had high expectations of this CD after reading the reviews---in fact, that is the only reason I bought it for my massage office. It is so irritating to me I had to turn it off! Depressing, melancholy, droning, sounds "draggy". The track with the rain on it is also irritating. I would never play this CD during a massage!』
(Off-putting Sythesized Sound) 『I was dissapointed in this CD after reading so many wonderful reviews of it. I found the heavy reliance on an almost avant garde synthesized sound to very unrelaxing and actually tension producing. Most CDs now allow you to preview the tracks, this one did not, and of course CDs are nonreturnable so I am stuck with something I can not listen to. Learn from my lesson and never buy a CD if you can't preview the tracks.』
(***PERFECT FOR MASSAGE - BEAUTIFULLY RELAXING***) 『I originally discovered the music of Detaching the World at the Canyon Ranch in Tucson. After having one of the most cleansing deep tissue massages ever, I fell in love with the music of Vol. 4 and started to incorporate it into my massage practice. Needless to say, the music has been a success with myself and my clients ever since. I was recently given Detaching the World Vol. 1 as a present by one of my regulars who happens to also love this music. I couldn't believe what I had been missing!!! I just started using it on a few clients and already people are melting away with the beautiful touch of this music. Everything about this CD is perfect for massage:
- The length (60+ mins, most of my clients are an hour long) - The flow (a slow yet even match with my hands) - The volume (the consistency remains throughout the disk) - The sound (beautiful layered textures of music, apparently guitar) - The quality (100%) - The happiness from my clients (they look refreshed and comment positively to the music) - My happiness as a therapist with this music (100%)
For me, this CD is a gold mine compared to my other relaxation CDs. Like Vol. 4, Vol. 1 is a keeper and will not leave you or your clients disappointed. Don't pass this one up! 』
(Detaching the World Vol 1) 『I purchased this CD based on the reviews alone,In comparison to other meditation Cd's I own; this CD ranks far below. The music is in my opinion anything but relaxing. Not suitable for meditation.』
(Promising Debut by Ambient Guitarist Emil Gagliardi) 『Although guitarist Emil Gagliardi's debut CD was designed for massage, meditation, and relaxation, it is much more than that. The ambient release features soothing, New Age-style synthesizer sounds generated entirely by Emil's electric guitar. The result is not only a great therapeutic tool, but also a legitimate work of sonic art in the vein of Andy Summers' classic ambient guitar album, Mysterious Barricades. Emil Gagliardi is a guitarist to keep an eye out for. [...]』 『As we explore the depths of our "self", our "souls", through massage, relaxation, and other healing modalities, we gain experience and knowingness. The music from Detaching The World Vol. 1 is a transient, which allows for this knowingness to occur in a peaceful, tranquil, and comforting environment.
This CD has been created to provide over 60 minutes in running time without the use of vocals or percussion. Emil Gagliardi has introduced a new style of guitar called "The Nuit's Effect" named after its rich soothing textures and deep earthy tones. From the opening cut of "Tranquil Sunrise", Gagliardi's swirling guitar immediately sets the perfect mood for massage and relaxation. The density of "The Valley Beyond" swallows you up in a tapestry of color similar to a warm blanket while the hauntingly beautiful "Fallen Angel" resembles a fresh new day after a storm.
Gagliardi's vision of creating the perfect massage and relaxation music sets Detaching The World (Vol. 1) apart from all others. Its purpose is to serve gentleness and ease like the inhalation and exhalation of the breath.』
IPhone 3G used's review (It Got Better) 『The first time I did this tape I was frustrated and annoyed. I find Baron Baptiste's shirtless bravado and touchy-feely stance with the students on his tape a bit creepy. However, I always give tapes a second chance after a bit of time has passed in order to see if my opinion has changed. Well, my opinion of Baron Baptiste being a little creepy hasn't changed, but my impression of the actual yoga has. This tape will certainly give you a good workout, and I found the ab portion to be very effective. So, in summation: ignore Baron and focus on the yoga and it's worthwhile.』
(Inspiring and educating!) 『To anybody embarking on yoga challenge as a way to a toner, flexible, fit body, start with this tape. Baptiste divides it into three segments and stresses that you can do one or all three.
Repetition on some forms helps that YOU learn the form and you become advanced; remember this is a beginner's workout. I like repetition on some moves; you just become better, you do them smoother. He then focuses on lower body strength and toning or to correct imbalances in the lower body. The third section concentrates on the abs and obliques. Excellent stretches of the spine.
Baptiste talks this way through, guiding you on proper form, he mingles throughout his group of perfect-body athletes who works with him, as he reinforces that they, too, do it correctly. This group of athletes takes this very serious.
He uses phrases to inspire and motive like: awaken the power, awaken your spirit, removing the blocks, hands to heaven.
For starters, this is good!....MzRizz』
(Great introduction to power yoga) 『If your just getting into yoga or would like to give it a try, this is the tape to do it with. While the quality of the recording is not so high and the music is not all that great, it is a very well done routine. I especially liked the way it was divided into three segements. That was very important in the begining. If you do this work out you will sweat and sweat and within a week you will feel the results.』
(Repetitive and too much talking) 『I was disapointed in this video for several reasons. Maybe the problem was that I had never done a Baron Baptiste video before and I didn't expect him to talk non-stop throughout the entire series. I mean he never comes up for air ! So if you use yoga strictly to exercise and you need someone to"pump you up and motivate you"he tries to do that. Personally, I use yoga routines to not only get a workout but also to relax and de-stress and someone yakking through the entire session is not my idea of relaxing. I much prefer Wai Lana's videos where she softly tells you the moves and then lets you experience it in silence. I also didn't care for the endless repetitions of the same moves, it got quite boring. I didn't count them but it seems some asanas were done 15 times, a bit much for me. Otherwise, the sessions were invigorating and effective.』
(Baron rocks!) 『I love this tape. I have to admit I like his newer series more - the music is divine, he comes across better (age has mellowed him?!!) and the class background in the new bunch although jampacked is somehow inspiring. BUT this tape is a great 45 minute workout - OR 3 segments easy to add on to other workouts. Personally, I find the stretch segments in most strength workouts just NOT enough. Before I used to cobble bits of other yoga tapes together, or spend way too long trying to stretch out all parts of the body. Now I just do the first segment - sun salutes plus some leg and hip stretches - and feel great, lengthened and stretched every which way - very important after weightwork. Highly recommended.』

The video is worth buying to compliment your practice.』
(Too little explanation of moves) 『I found this workout helpful, but only because I'd studied, and practiced a little bit, the very nicely-explained book on Ashtanga Yoga by Beryl Bender-Birch, called"Power Yoga." If not for that, I would have been totally confused, and possibly injured myself. This tape is fairly helpful if you already have some knowledge about Ashtanga Yoga, but for a good introduction to a challenging workout, try the"Crunch" tapes"The Joy of Yoga"and"Fat -Burning Yoga"by the lovely and unpretentious Sarah Ivanhoe.』
(Baron's adaptation of ashtanga yoga) 『This BPYI yoga video ROCKS! From start to finish the viewer will be challenged again and again by Baron's"be here now"style of teaching. Setting it up nicely he explains the four key elements of ashtanga yoga:ujjayi breathing, uddiyana&mulla locks, drishti(soft gaze), and vinyasa (or flowing postures). This video is a little different from level 2. He is not inducing as much trance and spiritual psychology as he is leading you through the sequences and linking all the key elements together paying impeccable attention to rhythmic breath. If you've ever wondered what vinyasa and ashtanga are all about this video will reveal those hidden truths to you. For advanced students and yoga teachers. WARNING:this video contains exciting and highly addictive material. Not for the weak-spined!』
IPhone 3G used's review (Totally Dissatisfied) 『The speaker is very bad, the music, not good. The actual routine goes too fast. How do they expect begginers to follow this routine?』
(excelent guide for the foundation of Hatha practice) 『Not only is this video made with great love and serenity - but technical accuracy and safety. Anyone of any level of experience can benefit from this video. For the beginner, the asanas are explained and demonstrated in a conscise fashion and for the more advanced student, give an ideal study of proper free flowing form. So often yoga styles give pretense to be the only accurate guideline as to proper technique. Sivananda Yoga makes no excuses or apologies - simply offers yoga in its pure form. Relaxation, good health, a loving heart and the growth of the self. Not physical perfection as the goal but as a tool toward greater spiritual happiness. These basic Asanas and Pranayama will give ANYONE a strong foundation of the family of postures and lead one into the logical and progressive understanding of variations in any style. As a yoga teacher, I highly reccomend this video for anyone interested in learning about the experience of Hatha Yoga』
(too quick for me) 『This video is good if you already know the moves. It moves very quickly and uses some difficult postures. I've done yoga for a long time and couldn't keep up with it. The breathing excercises were good and so was the scenery but thats all I enjoyed.』
(Beauty of Yoga and Nature fused in the Bahamas.) 『Conveys the serenity of the yoga experience in a beautiful natural outdoor setting presented by two very talented practitioners. Second half of the tape contains the same sequence of asanas to follow as a practice session based on the earlier more tranquil presentations and explanations.』

Usually ships in 1 to 2 days IPhone 3G used's review (Good for everyday use) 『I got this DVD and also the perfect pregnancy video. This one is great to use everyday. I have been active my whole life; recently doing gymnastics, karate and swimming. So I was in good shape before I got pregnant. I continued karate during the first trimester and then moved at the beginning of the second trimester and took a break from regular exercise. Then I got this DVD and started doing it everyday. I've never done yoga or pilates but Tracey explains it well. The only thing I can't understand is how to do kegel exercises, I'm not sure if I'm doing it right. For the workout you need three pillows, a towel (I use a workout mat though), and weights. I like how sweet and encouraging Tracey is. There are some sound level changes but it's not a problem for me. I always feel better after the workout. It's not like a karate workout, but I can feel my muscles toning and stretching which is nice. It's a calming and soothing workout. I bought the perfect pregnancy workout DVD to have something a little more challenging if I felt up to it. I've done it on the beginner level and I definitely felt the workout later that day and the next morning.
So if you would like a nice workout that is easy to do everyday, then this is a great choice. If you can't make up your mind (like I couldn't), then I would recommend getting two videos to supplement each other. I am happy with the combination I got: Tracey's 3 in 1 and the Perfect Pregnancy Workout. This way I have choices and if the perfect workout gets too easy there are two more advanced levels to do. But when I am tired or don't feel like getting too sweaty, I do the 3 in 1 workout.』
(good low impact stretch) 『This video was simple and easy to do especially in the later part of pregnancy where movement become a little restrictive and my back much tighter. The video is really easy to follow and Tracey's happy manner perks one up if your feeling a little low. It only took 40 mins to do and great to start my day or to do when I was wanting a little time out. I really enjoyed it. Simple and effective. Nicola』
(Safe and challenging pregnacy video) 『As a physical therapist, I highly recommend Tracey Mallett's 3 in 1 pregnancy video to my prenatal and post partum patients looking for a safe workout for home. Tracey Mallett has designed an exercise program that is not only appropriate and challenging throughout your pregnancy, but can also be done postpartum. What a great value! Tracey takes the viewer through a full-body work out, integrating Pilates and Yoga to strengthen the abdominals, upper, and lower body (all important areas to keep in shape and stay strong for that new baby you are expecting). She offers safe and appropriate exercises for each trimester of pregnancy, while being sensitive to the needs of the expectant mother. This is a safe, yet challenging workout for expecting moms!』
(Relaxing exercise, great stretching) 『Very good exercise dvd, specially if you are interested in stretching and feeling refreshed. It helped me stay strong and feel pretty good. And must say even though it is slow paced exercise and I thought it does not help much I found out to be wrong. I have not exercised my last pregnancy and what a difference in how I felt. So, it does make difference even though sometimes you might feel like it does not, specially the stretching helped me feel very refreshed.』
(Best Pregnancy Fitness DVD) 『Tracey's upbeat personality made this a fave workout when I was pregnant. And as a Physical Therapist that also treats pregnant ladies, it is so important to follow certain exercise guidelines and precautions, which she considers throughout her video. Her cueing is excellent for muscles that we all need to get strong during (and after) pregnancy. I did regular cardio and Pilates throughout my pregnancy and still found the exercises challenging as long as I didn't "cheat" through them. The modifications she provides are great when an exercise proves to be too difficult. (The "Super" Perfect Workout) 『I am often looking for a quick, but meaningful yoga workout to get myself going in the morning- and I was really thrilled with "The Perfect Pregnancy Workout vol. 2" As someone who works out at least five days a week, I was worried that a pregnancy workout dvd might not give me enough, but I found it such a plus that this workout has both beginner and advanced levels clearly demonstrated! It had a really nice flow, the poses, movement, and stretching kept my interest and got my blood flowing. I think it would be suited for most at any stage of pregnancy, or even if you are not currently pregnant!』
(Great yoga workout even if you aren't pregnant yet) 『I truly enjoyed The Perfect Pregnancy Workout Vol. 2 for it's straightforward and well-rounded regimen and I am not even pregnant yet. It is both relaxing and energizing. Sarah Steben's inspired yoga program is something I can do before, during, and after pregnancy. Because it has two levels, beginning and advanced, it lets you develop up to another tier and it gives you flexibility in how hard you want to workout.
I do recommend going through the Instructional Section first which gives an over-through of the workout, the names of the poses, and helpful tips on how to do everything safely and correctly.
The tone of the DVD feels relaxed and real compared to so many other workout DVDs that feel like the participants are playing too much to the camera. And I appreciate not having DVD time taken up with meditation exercises, it simply gets down to business. Plus I really like the Zen garden setting with Sarah as the only participant. It feels like a one-on-one session with my own personal yoga instructor. Good stuff!』
(Best prenatal yoga dvd) 『I've been doing yoga for 10 years, and during my first pregnancy I bought 6 different prenantal yoga dvds. I didn't like any of them, for various reasons, some to easy, some to difficult, some not enjoyable, one was 25 minutes of mediatation, and ten minutes of actual yoga. I love the Perfect pregnancy workout #1, and was so excited to try this dvd, perhaps I'm a little biased and that's why I think this dvd is so great. I look forward to it- I was having trouble getting out of bed some mornings, now I'm excited b/c I have something fun to do first thing! The modified poses are great, and advanced poses are just difficult enough. I also love the Steben sisters accents, seems to add to the dvd somehow.』
(Really is perfect!) 『I tried Perfect Pregnancy Volume 1 which is great for strength training. I wanted to add a Pilates or Yoga routine to my regimen. I tried another Yoga for pregnancy DVD and was less than thrilled. It really wasn't challenging and I needed way too many props to do everything effectively. Not to mention it didn't flow at all! (And by the way, I've been doing Yoga off and on for a few years, but I'm far away from being advanced!) Perfect Pregnancy Volume 2 is great because it's only about a half hour long, the exercises are challenging yet do-able, flowed nicely from positions, and best of all...very little props! :) You only need a strap (which can be substituted for a belt or tie) and a couple of pillows. The strap is used twice and one small pillow is used for floor exercises. The two pillows together are used at the very end for a relaxing stretch. I really like how both of these workouts give different versions for beginner/advanced, and the instruction is very easy to follow. And best of all, I feel great after doing them!』 『If you loveThe Perfect Pregnancy Workout vol. 1with Karyne Steben, you will findThe Perfect Pregnancy Workout vol. 2to be the *perfect* sister DVD.
