The Calphalon Commercial seems thicker and stronger than other Calphalon. While few things stick to any Calphalon, even fewer things stick to Calphalon Commercial. I don't expect to use this 12-quart stockpot every day or even every week, but when I have a lot of people to feed, it will be worth its weight in gold.』
(de-anodized on 3rd batch of sauce....HOWEVER) 『I am a very happy owner of way too many pieces of Calphalon, hard anodized and stainless. This pot has a good weight (not too heavy), small enough base to fit on a standard burner and still get a pan on the burner in front, if needed. The 3rd batch of home grown tomato sauce took about a 4" circle of anodizing off on the bottom.
Spoke with customer service at Calphalon, and as it happed SO quickly, they are sending a post paid return. AND, since this is discontinued...it will be replaced with a 12 qt. contemporary stainless (can you spell dishwasher?) So, folks, at the amazing Friday price - for a little inconvenience I'll have a great stock pot for next season!
Other cooks have not reported this outcome, so I do think it's a bad batch from China, but they absolutely stand by their warranty.

Everything else they make is produced overseas, including the copper pots and the cast iron.

(Glad I got it!) 『First, the only two negatives: 1) It does seem to scratch more easily than my Circulon Hard-Anodized Non-Stick Hi-Low System pots -- a casual encounter with a faucet will disclose a fine, thin streak of aluminum; 2) I used the pot two or three times before obtaining Calphalon's Dormond cleaner and wound up with black-on-black watermark type stains on the inside of the bottom and the inside of the lid. Subsequently, a half-dozen scrubbings with Dormond removed all the stains.
Now, the good part. I wanted a 12 qt stock pot and I like using this one. It seems to distribute heat well. The cover handle works well for me and never seems to get to warm for my bare hand. The side handles feel sturdy, well positioned, and enable me to heft the pot without strain. Even full, I feel I have good, adequate control when moving it about. The lid fits simply and well.
I favor it, now, over my clad, triple-ply 8 qt. stainless steel stockpot.
Lastly, I had occasion to telephone Calphalon customer service. My call was answered swiftly and the service was delivered pleasantly -- something increasingly rare these days. 』

But after looking at other reviews I decided to purchase it.This was to be a gift for my wife. We received the blue one, it looks brand new! The only hiccup was priming the pump. The instructions say to use the included primer bulb to blow air into it, but we kept getting the check tank light. I was taught to prime a liquid pump with liquid. We primed it with water, and it took right off. It cleaned our kitchen linoleum wonderfully! The water out of the dirty tank was black! And the vacuum filter was completely full of dry debris that I didn't even see on the floor! It had no problems negotiating the multiple angles of our kitchen walls, and as it ran over a floor register it hung up, but went into a free me mode and continued on! Cleaning it afterward was a breeze, and most of the replaceable parts have the part# on or near them. The noise level is what I would expect out of a vaccuum/motorized device. I am very pleased with this purchase. Looks like she will be getting a carpet version for Christmas.』
(Great Deal and Works Great) 『I had a initial problem with the battery not completing the cycle and Irobot suggested the battery would need to be cycled a few times in order to get it to full capacity. Amamzon shipped me a new one, a whole new Scooba, and it works great. I have used it many time already in order to test it during the 90 day warranty and it has past the test thus far. I can highly recommend this product and Amazon to back this product.
This product performs as advertised. The unit I received was in like-new condition. It is my second Scooba (first one still works but needs a new battery; the battery failed after the charger was left unplugged for several days. Batteries are expensive and confusing to purchase online because there are several versions).
The remanufactured Scooba would not operate until I primed the pump several times (per included instructions); it then thoroughly cleaned a vinyl floor, leaving it slightly wet in spots.
Either the Clorox cleaning liquid or vinegar work well in the Scooba.
The Scooba can get stuck in the toe space under kitchen cabinets if there is not enough clearance.
I remove the brush and filters (easy to do) after using the Scooba, rinse, and allow to dry before reinstalling them.』
(My new little buddy) 『I love my Scooba. He's a tenacious little guy. Sure, he has a fairly short battery life and is slightly high maintenance, always needing to be "cleaned out thoroughly." Once, he got a little stubborn and just moved around in circles. Turns out I didn't clean him well enough and a sensor was covered in gook. Easy fix though. In all, our Scooba has become a part of my family. My daughter has named him "Bongo." He keeps my hardwood floors clean and tidy while I run around the rest of the house like a chicken with my head cut off. I know every few weeks I may need to give the floor an extra scrubbing by hand, but for maintenance, my little Bongo is perfect.』

IF your child has a suspicious first exam and/or was born breech and has risk factors for dysplasia, don't do it and go to an orthopedic pediatric specialist pronto. HOpefully someone will avoid the heartbreak of seeing their child in casts, braces, and harnesses.
